Dr.Shah relocated to Illinois with her husband after graduating from dental school. She has been in practice for over 15 years. Dentistry is her number 1 passion. She has volunteered in Special Olympics, Special Smiles doing dental checkups for physically challenged patients. She has been affiliated with a nursing home providing dental care for elderly patients. Dr. Shah has helped many veterans and special needs patients from Cornerstone. Dr. Shah works closely with Physicians and Surgeons to ensure her patients best health, as she believes that the mouth is a window to the body and part of the whole for the total well-being.
Dr. Sam earned his Doctoral Degree of Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sam is a Fellow of the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry and has recently earned his Masters of Healthcare Administration degree. He has gone through extensive training in Dental Implants education to earn his Fellowship of the American Dental Implant Association followed by a Mastership in the International Dental Implant Association which only includes the top 2% of Implantologists in the country placing and restoring implants. Along with his Dental Implant education, Dr. Sam has worked two years in an Oral Surgery office where he has gained ample knowledge and experience to efficiently take out wisdom teeth and perform difficult extractions with minimal discomfort and post-surgical complications. To maximize his patients comfort level while going through these difficult procedures, Dr. Same logged hundreds of hours of training to get certified in safe Oral and IV Sedation procedures. He is currently helping patients attain better oral health in the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Dr. Same continues to go above and beyond, taking thousands of continuing education courses so that he can always be at the cutting edge of dental knowledge and get you the best treatment options available. Dr. Same knows how hard it is to go to the dentist and get your surgical treatment done so he strives every day to give all his patients the best and most up-to-date treatment in the most comforting manner possible. Above all else, Dr. Same is a loving husband and caring father of two sons and when he is not helping you during office hours, he is spending quality time with them. He is very passionate about traveling the glove and is eager to learn about different cultures and hopes to discover the worlds diversity.
Tushar is an Office Manager for 10+ years, working closely with Dr. Shah at both offices Joliet and Plano. One of my main goals is to thoroughly educate patients with different treatment options recommended by Dr. Shah clinically and financially by navigating through the jungle of Insurance Benefits. While not at work Tushar enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, travel, etc.

The staff here was amazing! We just moved out to Plano recently and they really did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and accommodating our scheduling needs. They were also absolutely wonderful with my youngest, who is 4, and telling him every tool they were going to use and how they worked. Definitely one of the best dentist offices I've ever been to!

I was extremely impressed with the dentist she had me in and out in10 min. Very knowledgeable and professional. If you don't like going to the dentist she will change you mind. I have never had a tooth pulled and hardly no bleeding . I will DEFINITELY be back to visit. She also does implants.

I must say, i havent been to the dentist in prob over 10 years but i brush daily and had a tooth chip awhile ago. It was bothering me. so decided to do the right thing and come in. So glad i did. From the very beginning, Tushar was phenomenal in coordinating a time for me to schedule an appt. I had just had a baby 2 weeks ago and had to cancel because it was on the day my fiance delivered . Tushar was so nice and rescheduled. UPON ENTERING HE HAD REMEMBERED I HAD A BABY AND CONGRATULATED ME AGAIN. Amazing! Felt like family right away. My assistant and my Dentist Dr. Shah were incredible. So gentle. So nice. soft spoken and help me be fearless as i was so nervous. I had my tooth pulled and couldnt be happier with the outcome. I read the reviews locally before choosing Plano Family Dental and im so glad i did. This is my forever Dentist

Wonderful dentist, great with kids who are scared! The gentleman who runs the office is wonderful and helpful! They're awesome with working with you if you have no insurance as well. We love everyone here!

I went to Plano Family Dental for the first time this past week and LOVED it! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very at ease. Would highly recommend!!!

I generally have a lot of apprehension when I go to the dentist and I was so happy that they treated me so respectively and gently during my visit. The staff was so kind and the environment welcoming. I will be gladly be coming back

It was a good experience It was painless I have my both tooth pulled out and never feel anything worth driving for 1 hour and they take care of you right away I give a AAA+++ I recommend this dental clinic for every body having a tooth problem. I will stick to this clinic for my check up and cleaning . Two thumbs

Plano Family Dental is great! Dr. Raj, the head dentist, is very friendly, and so is the rest of the staff. They also do great dental work and are great at answering any questions you may have.
