Wayne Ku, DDS, is an experienced dentist and happy to serve the people ofPlano, North Dallas, and the North Texas areaat Plano Dental Excellence. Dr. Ku takes pride in crafting beautiful smiles for his patients. He strives to provide the best possible dental care in a relaxed, comfortable environment.
Dr. Ku graduated from dentalschool at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.He also was previously a visiting faculty member at Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona, which provides continuing education services for dentists.
In addition to teaching continuing education classes to his colleagues, Dr. Ku is dedicated to his own continuing education and professional growth. He belongs to the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Ku is a longtime Dallas resident. He and his wife have been married for more than 30 years and have three daughters. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with his family, and staying active.

Easy check in. Assistants were very pleasant and helpful. Dr Ku saw me promptly, answered all my questions and came up with a game plan for my dental procedure.

Dr. Wayne Ku has been our family dentist for almost 30 years! I highly recommend him because he is skilled, professional, honest and very kind. I would say the same for the staff too. They truly do provide excellent dental care!

I've been struggling trying to find a Dentist who actually cared to help and assist me with my needs. Dr. Ku and his ELITE TEAM are the BEST EVER. They made me feel extremely comfortable & cared for. Dr. Ku is so kind & patient, he came to introduce himself and he takes his time to explain many things they're going to be doing and NOT just having me sit anxiously, while him and his team whisper in a corner over my charts/x-rays. I felt extremely valued as a patient and there's no where else you can get that from other than in this office. His team were incredibly professional & extremely friendly! Their work is flawless & efficient! I felt so extremely confident & refreshed coming out of their office , I couldn't stop smiling for the entire rest of my day. Thank you Dr. Ku & your amazing team!

Plano Dental Excellence is THE place to go for semi-annual dental check up or crowns. I needed to replace a crown. Dr. Ku's office opened immediately an appointment for me. He was able to order another crown in about two weeks. He carefully fitted the crown, checking that my bite touches the other teeth properly, gave me clear instructions not to eat for about an hour until the cement harden. I am very happy that I can bite and chew again. He won't take a big bite out of your wallet. Give Dr. Wayne Ku a chance to check on your teeth and you be glad that you saw him.

From the front desk, to the hygienist, to Dr. Ku, they are the best I have had. Love their environment, their courtesy, their professionalism. They love what they do and they care for the prople. My whole family are blessed by them.

I had to have a filling replaced and Dr. Ku uses a laser to perform the entire procedure. The procedure, from removal of the old to filling, preparing the surface and refilling the cavity, was pain free. He said it would be, but I was skeptical. He was right. I highly recommend Dr Ku for all your dental care.

Everyone involved in my care was very professional, friendly, and helpful. They did a great job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Ku explained my dental issues thoroughly. Together, we came up with a treatment plan to address my issues. I feel great about the care I have received and confident in the long-term resolution of my oral health issues. Amazing experience! So sad that they are OON with my insurance, otherwise, I would pick Dr. Ku and his crew to be my forever dental place! Hoping that I could switch to another insurance that'll be in network :( The communication is awesome. Trisha, Kortni, and Dr. Ku are all superb at their jobs. They are friendly, honest, open, and super comfortable to be around! If Plano Dental Excellence is in network with your insurance, I highly recommend them! 10/10!

Dr. Ku and his crew treated me like a king during my visit. He explained to me patiently what and why he would do before doing anything. I had a great experience for my check-up and cleaning. The place is super clean and nice. I'd highly recommend Dr. Ku for your dental treatment.

Dr Wayne Ku is the best dental specialist I have ever met. I have gone through 4 different dentists in the last 5 years in search of real answers, solutions, and expert care. Dr. Ku and his staff are the most professional in the business. The office is beautiful, clean and comfortable, but the treatment is what stands out: the assistants are incredibly friendly and make you feel like they've always known you. Dr. Ku himself is the BEST, no matter what procedure you need or how bad your situation, he makes you feel like everything will be fine. He explains the procedure thoroughly, and he and his assistant constantly reassure you that you're doing well. They all genuinely care about their patients!

I have been enjoying the care from Dr. Ku and his staff for a couple of years now. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Appointments start on time. I called yesterday about a toothache and I was seen within 90 minutes. Five stars......absolutely.
