Planet Dental is founded on creating extraordinary experiences for both patients and staff. The company initially started out with two doctors who had a vision. The vision was based on four Core Values still in existence today.
The belief in these values is how we push ourselves to excellence. They arent just words used in the office; we believe in them wholeheartedly. So much so, they accompany us in our day-to-day lives. Yet, what we believe above all else is one must have balance.

The best part of my day is a gigantic smile and a high-five from a patient at the end of their visit. I love that I can provide gentle, patient-focused dental care that makes a persons mouth healthier and makes them happy at the same time.
Dentistry allows me to have an immediate, positive impact on a persons life. When someone comes to me and theyre in dental pain, I can remove it and make them pain-free again. When a patient needs restorative care, I can make it possible for them to chew properly and with comfort. And when a patient wants to improve the appearance of their teeth, I can give them a wonderful, confident, beautiful smile.
I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) by the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Since graduation, Ive actively pursued continuing education courses. Oral healthcare is constantly changing, with new treatments, materials, and technologies being developed. The best of these allow me to provide even better, more efficient and effective, care to my patients.
After growing up in southern California, Im now glad to call Laredo my home. Im a lucky man, with a loving and supportive wife, a Yorkie named Louie, and our first child is on the way! When Im not working, I enjoy being with family and friends. I also love traveling, riding motorcycles, golf, and working out.
I love being a pediatric dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful children, and the friendships that I've built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home during treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
My education in dentistry has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. Additionally, by regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide more options and better results. Called the office of Independence Plaza the receptionist was able to make an appointment for my teenage son on the same day... As you walk in the office you first encounter happy smiling faces from the employees... The service is excellent. The doctor explains any questions you may have... in total Im happy with the great customer service. We've been with Planet Dental since they first open on the Guadalupe...Thank you for your great work...

I was running late for my kids appointment, they waited. I forgot my kids shoes, they let us go inside. I didn't have a sitter for my puppy, they took care of my puppy outside . I appreciate the great costumer service. I felt so comfortable a full time mommy trying not to make excuses and get my kids to the dentist. I will continue coming to this planet dental I'm over all so happy for the great dr they had and the staff. Making Laredo great if I can give you all 10 stars I'll give you 20! Thank you so much!

Very nice and modern feeling, went during the pandemic and they had many COVID precautions. The Doctor was very nice and answered all of my questions. They play great music and the employees seemed very energized and they have fun with the kids! Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend this facility and its staff. Was same day prompt to see me under my circumstances ( when nobody else seemed to care or have any urgency to my situation) friendlier then my old Sunday school teacher and just very professional!!! Best place to being ur kids, they are very patient with kids, had a 4 ur old who was scared but they reassured him and now he shows his teeth to everyone who wants to see! I recommend this place to anyone who needs a dentist, staff is professional and curitous and has excellent ethic skills, love this place to the whole family...thank you for ur hard work and dedication
