Dr. Darmont joined the Plaistow Dental family as a General Dentist in June of 2015 after graduating from The University of Maryland in Baltimore. However, her career at Plaistow Dental truly started when she was probably around 4 when her father, Dr. Holiman, purchased Plaistow Dental. Growing up, Dr. Darmont had the unique opportunity to observe her father practicing dentistry by just hanging around the dental office and eventually assisting chairside. She enjoyed getting to know and serving the residents of Plaistow, NH and the surrounding towns so much that she decided to go into dentistry and join the practice where she grew up. She has enjoyed working closely and receiving mentorship with her father.
Over the years since graduating dental school Dr. Darmont has had the opportunity to work side by side with some of the best practitioners in Boston at Bicon Dental Implants, where she received extensive training in placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Darmont enjoys practicing dentistry and taking continuing education courses at any opportunity she gets. She spends her free time practicing hot yoga and exploring New England with her husband Francis and dog Kenji.
Amy graduated from Elmira College in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Biology. In 2003, she earned her Certification in Dental Assisting and Radiology. She has been assisting chair side with Dr Holiman since, and has helped ease many patients anxiety over these years. Amy's love for dentistry is driven by a patient's transformation, both physically and emotionally, when they look in the mirror and fall in love with their reflection. Her love for learning in the dental field allows her to continue with furthering her education whenever it is possible. In 2015, she became Nationally Certified as a Dental Assistant. From there, she earned her newest Certification for Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary. Amy was 1 of 10 for the pioneering class in the State of NH allowing Dental Auxiliaries to place restorations.
Laurina graduated in 2007 from New Hampshire Technical Institute with a certificate in dental assisting and radiology and has been assisting chairside since. She has been a part of our practice since 2015. She is caring and compassionate with all of her patients, and helps put each person at ease with her humor and laughter.
Laurina spends all of her time with her close friends and family. She appreciates every extra minute with her two boys Angelo and Axel. Not only does she have time with her children and fiancJustin on the weekends, but during the week after work.
Kate graduated in 2011 from Northern Essex Community College with her Associates Degree and Dental Assisting & Radiology Certificate. She took her degree a step further and got Nationally Certified through the Dental Assisting National Board. She joined our team in June 2017. She also has knowledge of the front desk and can help when needed. Kate loves her patients and builds relationships with them to make them feel comfortable in the dental chair with kindness and enjoyment.
Our office hours are perfect for Kate because she spends all of her time with her husband and two children, Nora and Grayson. They enjoy going to their neighborhood pond on their four wheeler. Kate invests lots of her time going to the gym, practicing yoga and staying physically active. She also spends lots of time with her 7 siblings and their significant others and their children.
Sara completed a local dental assisting course in 2020 and has been a part of the practice since. Soon after she was hired, she received her certificate in dental radiology. She looks forward to learning something new about the ever growing dental field through day to day procedures and intelligent co-workers. Sara works hard to make every patient experience run smoothly so they will be excited to come back for their oral health care needs.
Sarah graduated from New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2010 with her license in Dental Hygiene Science. She realized early on in her education that she had found her passion. She is local anesthesia certified and loves attending continuing education courses to further educate herself for her patients. She specializes in pediatric and special needs dental care, but loves working in a general practice where she can build relationships with patients of all ages.
Jocelyn received her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex Community College in 2010. She continued her education in 2019 and became certified in administering local anesthesia. Jocelyn believes that one of the most rewarding parts of being a Dental Hygienist is the bond that forms between a patient and their provider. Shes compassionate and strives to ensure a positive dental experience no matter how nervous the person may be.
In her spare time, Jocelyn enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her husband Andrew, their daughter Mia, and boxer Etta. She loves being in the company of good friends and family, practicing yoga, and hanging by the lake or ocean.
Kathy joined our team in January of 2018. She graduated from NHTI- Concords Community College in 1987 where she received her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene. She loves attending continuing education courses to further educate herself for her patients.
Natasha joined our team in March of 2015. She has been in the dental field as a Financial Coordinator/Dental Claims Coordinator since 2009. She handles most of the dental insurance claims and financials in our practice and truly loves what she does. Helping out patients understand their dental plans and help them get the best use out of their benefits.She enjoys getting to know each and every patient and always has a smile on her face. She speaks both English and Spanish.
Natasha is married to her high school sweetheart and has 2 children. She enjoys spending her time with her family and two dogs, Bella & Opie. She and her family do a lot of camping and four wheeling in the summer time. She also enjoys doing crafts and activities with her children.
Ashley graduated from North Shore Community College in 2007 with a Cosmetology and Business degree. Ashley began working in the dental field as a Patient Care Coordinator in 2014 and joined our team in July of 2018. She truly loves helping patients understand and feel confident in all aspects of their treatment.
Ashley enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their three children, Jackson, Rilee and Colton. Together, they enjoy outdoor adventures, spending time at their family lake house and day trips up north.
Kayla joined our team in September of 2020. She graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2012 with a General Studies degree. Kayla began working in the dental field as a Patient Care Coordinator in 2017. She loves getting to know both established and new patients on a daily basis.
