is native to Eugene, Oregon and received his doctor of dental medicine at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in 2011. He received his Bachelors of Science and graduated with Honors from the University of Oregon in 2006. Dr. Strickland was awarded a United States Navy Health Scholarship where he served as a Lieutenant Dental Corp Officer at Marine Corp Recruit Depot Parris Island South Carolina (MCRD Parris Island).
Immediately following dental school, Dr. Strickland completed a one-year credentialing tour in Comprehensive Dentistry at MCRD Parris Island. He was then assigned to perform Oral Surgery over eighteen months where he received advanced training in Oral Pathology and Wisdom Tooth Extractions. Dr. Strickland has been practicing Comprehensive Family Dentistry in Hartford, Connecticut area for three years.
He strongly believes in continued education and is working towards earning his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). He received dental Implant training with the London Institute in 2015, and has integrated Cone Beam CT technology in placement of dental implants in his office. His passion is in Oral Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, and caring for patients with dental fear. Dr. Strickland is dedicated to delivering high quality care and a comfortable dental experience to his patients. In his off time he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Strickland is dedicated to delivering optimal lasting dental results for his patients. He does this by using only the highest quality dental materials and products available that are research supported. He ensures every procedure performed in the office is done carefully and with precision. Dr Strickland is a fairly young high energy guy with a competent staff and very professional place. He's a craftsman deserving of high praise. He's always in a pleasant mood, has a great manner and actually let's you answer any question he asks. So many dentists don't. The office manager, Elizabeth, is a bilingual lady who gets the job done billing all my insurances and running the office.

Dr. Strickland and his team are very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable dental professionals. The office is very clean and modern with state-of-the-art dental equipment. Starting at the front desk the office manager is very friendly and courteous and helpful in answering any paperwork questions. The team of dental hygienists take the time to make you comfortable by answering any questions and concerns. Dr. Strickland is extremely personable, very kind and takes the time to listen to your concerns. My initial checkup and detailed oral exam performed was very thorough. He addressed all my questions and provided an action plan on future necessary procedures needed. His caring attitude and his knowledge made me feel at ease. You can tell he has a passion for his work and helping patients. I highly recommend Dr. Strickland and his practice!

Aaaaaamazing doctor, excellent service, great facilities and customer service too, everyone in there is nice and kind. Let me elaborate, I personally take care of my teeth like they are my life, a filling broke and part of the tooth was about to break if I was not careful. New to the state, I searched and searched for the best Dentist, Dr Strickland had the best reviews and based on the pictures the best facilities and best smile (yep I judge my dentist by their smile/teeth, as everyone should!) so I made an appointment and they were able to get me in ASAP, evaluated what was going on and because it was an emergency he took care of me the next day at 8:30am... I wasn't even late for work! We also did some cosmetic work (took out some really old small silver fillings) and a nice cleaning. He's got great hands too, you will not have pain afterwards at all! I'm actually sad that I'm not coming back until September for my 6months check-up/cleaning, definitely his patient forever, I even call him Andrew as if we were old friends haha! I will refer everyone to him.

Dr. Strickland treats his clients the way he would want to be treated. So far, he's done deep cleaning, wisdom tooth and will do some other work to my teeth to ensure that I am ok. My wife goes there and he gives you advice for your needs and is very honest. This is someone that I will be using for years to come. He's awesome!

I have had some bad experiences with dentists, so I am always nervous at the dentist. Dr. Strickland made me feel comfortable and the overall experiences were great. My three-year-old has been there twice now. She is not very cooperative, but Dr. Strickland is great with her. There is an awesome little playroom next to the waiting room that she had a blast playing in. Everyone that works there is very nice. I highly recommend this dentist.

Dr Strickland and his staff are wonderful! I've been there many times since he opened up and truly appreciate the way he has not only made my teeth feel better but look better. I've had cleanings, an implant and many Crowns. Before you leave the office he makes sure you're satisfied with his work.

Dr Strickland is simply the best dentist I've ever been to. I was born with a cleft lip and palate so I've seen plenty of them. None of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr Strickland. The whole staff is very understanding of my dental phobia, which is great. I've been through 5 extractions and a couple fillings so far and couldn't be happier with the results. I've sent friends and family who have all had great experiences as well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Strickland and his team are very kind, down to earth, and honest! :) They have worked me and my family into their busy schedules when we've had a few dental emergencies. Dr. Strickland was very realistic about his treatment plan and openly discussed all of the options we had. He was also very informative and explained everything he did. You can tell Dr. Strickland really loves what he does and is incredibly skilled at reconstructive work (seriously his "before and after" photos are amazing). I highly recommend Dr. Strickland and his practice!
