Dr. Ferdkoff graduated from Northwestern University School of Dentistry in 1998 and continues his formal training to this day. His emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best of care in the field. He is proud to provide his patients with the best in dental technology, treatment options and patient comfort. His approach to patient care begins with listening to the patient. Dr. Ferdkoff will do a through examination and discuss the diagnosis and treatment options with the patient. He will take time to address all of your concerns. Dr. Ferdkoff has a wide range of experience in areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments, root canal treatment and Sedation Dentistry (Licensed in Conscious Sedation Permit A). His training in 21st Century digital technology, the PerioLase laser gum treatment allows Dr. Ferdkoff to treat patients afraid of undergoing conventional periodontal treatments.
Dr. Kristine Vasquez graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. She continued with earning her masters in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida. Growing up in a family in the medical field, she always knew she would help people in a medical setting. Inspired by her cousin who is a dentist, she knew that dentistry was her true passion. Soon after, she earned her doctorate of dental medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After graduation, Dr. Vasquez completed a general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she received advanced dental training especially with oral surgery and hospital based dentistry.
Dr. Kristine believes in taking the time with her patients to teach them the importance of oral health and the benefit of preventative oral care. Currently she is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and IIlinois State Dental Society.
In her spare time Dr. Vasquez loves to learn about different cultures through traveling. She also enjoys cooking and especially baking. She loves to spend quality time with family, friends, and especially with her dogs Lido and Pippa. Dr. Vasquez is very excited to be serving the Plainfield community.
