Pittsburgh Endodontics, formerly known as Just Endodontics, is the former practice of Dr. George Just and Dr. Richard Leffel. Just Endodontics opened in 1978 giving the practice over 40 years of history and rock solid reputation. When Dr. Just decided he was ready to lessen his workload, Dr. Michael Korch happened to be looking for a place he could make his professional home. The synergy between the two men was immediately identifiable, and the transfer of power made sense for everyone.
Dr. Korch is a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate and DMD degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and practiced as a Restorative Dentist for over 11 years in the Pittsburgh area. During that time he received his MAGD and FICOI certifications.
Moving forward, he returned to the University of Pittsburgh and completed the Endodontic Residency program. After completion of the residency program, he practiced endodontics in other parts of the city until he found his professional home, Pittsburgh Endodontics. He also holds a part-time faculty position in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pittsburgh.
In addition to being an active member of multiple professional organizations, he recently completed his duties as President of the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania and was elected to the ADA Council of Dental Practices. He resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Megan and their 3 children.
Dr. Just is a native of New York, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Queens College C.U.N.Y. with a major in biology. He completed dental school at Case Western Reserve University of Dentistry and then went on to receive his Certificate in Endodontics from New York University - Peninsula Hospital Care.
Dr. Just has been practicing endodontics since 1973, published several times in multiple journals and publications, and is an active lecturer for several dental organizations. He had several different positions with the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry as an instructor and professor. He also is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and practiced dentistry on Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
Along with being an excellent endodontist, Dr. Just also received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He has a list of accolades and accomplishments that are hard to fathom. Hes the President of East Suburban Dental Society, member of the Board of Directors Delta Dental, ranked one the top dentists by Pittsburgh Magazine from 2007-2019, voted best endodontist in Monroeville by Monroeville Magazine, and has been an expert witness in several states on high profile dental related cases just to name a few.

DR CHANEY IS AMAZING!!! My experience the best I could've ever had no complaints whatsoever about anything!!! No pain or discomfort during the procedure or after! Highly recommend!!!

Dr Konchar was amazing and the whole staff Matty was also amazing. He got me in on short notice thanks to Heather at Steel City dental and got me taken care of. Service and work was very exceptional. I would refer anyone to go see them.

Dr. Korch did a fantastic job on a difficult root canal. My dentist was very impressed with his skills and I was thrilled that he was able to save the tooth. He was very professional and I had a minimum amount of discomfort.

Went in for a root canal, took x-rays of the tooth then started working on it only to find out that they couldn't complete because of a crack in the tooth that should've been seen in the x ray. Broke off a piece of a filling that wasn't fixed before leaving, Never returned my phone call about getting the broken filling fixed, then send a $350 bill for work that left me in more pain than before I went in

I just got off the phone with the receptionist who flat out refused to assist me in determining my insurance eligibility. I asked if she could call the number on my card for providers and she said she could not do that. I'm absolutely astounded that companies hire people like this. I wanted to leave no stars!

I was referred to this office by my dentist for a root canal. Although I had to wait a few weeks for an appointment, it was more than worth the wait. The receptionist, and the assistant Jackie, were friendly and welcoming, but the whole experience was made exceptional by Dr. Chaney. His jovial manner and step-by-step explanation of the procedure immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain why I needed the procedure, what to expect, and each step of the experience as he worked. This is my first root canal, but it was better than any other dental visit with any provider that I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Chaney and Jackie, for making this appointment as painless and anxiety-free as possible A+++

Dr Korch did 2 root canals on me in the same day. He's honestly the best. He talked me through every single thing he was doing. I had no pain what so ever. I highly recommend Dr Just and associates!!

My dentist advised me to contact Dr. Just for a root canal procedure since they are part of the same network. When I called Dr. Just's office to make an appointment, the lady that answered the phone was extremely unfriendly and seemed very annoyed by the fact that I called. My dentist had sent them the documentation and x-rays for my case and she didn't even bother checking them until I asked her to. When she finally checked them, she said that she didn't know when I could get an appointment. She said that she had to talk to Dr. Just and they were going to call me back. I never heard back from them. Terrible unprofessional service. If that's the way they work with their patients, good luck!

I needed a root canal and was extremely trepidacious about getting one. All in all Dr. Just was friendly. His assistants were awesome! They were extremely friendly and put me at ease. The root canal was painless. The only thing lacking was the friendliness of the receptionist(she's very curt).

Dr Just and his Dental Assistant Laurel did a very professional, effective and courteous root canal procedure on a top molar on 8/3/2017. I was concerned about saving that tooth, but Dr. Just did successfully save my tooth. They used a great process that essentially eliminated the discomfort that I expected. Everything was explained so well and all my questions were courteously answered. My sincere gratitude. At least five stars.
