As a lifelong Pittsford resident, a graduate of St. Louis School and Our Lady of Mercy High School, Dr. Pitcher always knew she wanted to be a dentist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from William Smith College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She came back to The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry for her Postdoctoral degree in Pediatrics at their hospital-based residency at the Eastman Dental Center.
Upon completion, Dr. Pitcher entered private practice in 1999 in Pittsford where she became the owner of the Rosen Pitcher Dental Group in 2003. After extensive non-mandatory testing and case presentation, she is honored to have become a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Pitcher is a Certified Sedation Provider in New York State. All of these accolades require multiple, extensive requirements to maintain annually.
As published in the Nov Dec 2014 edition of the (585) magazine, Dr. Pitcher has been awarded subsequent years as a Top Dentist as evaluated by her colleagues when asked, If you had a patient you needed to refer, who would you send them to? Dentists and patients are asked to take into consideration years of experience, continuing education, manners with patients, use of new techniques and technologies, and of course physical results.
