As a lifelong Pittsford resident, a graduate of St. Louis School and Our Lady of Mercy High School, Dr. Pitcher always knew she wanted to be a dentist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from William Smith College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She came back to The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry for her Postdoctoral degree in Pediatrics at their hospital-based residency at the Eastman Dental Center.
Upon completion, Dr. Pitcher entered private practice in 1999 in Pittsford where she became the owner of the Rosen Pitcher Dental Group in 2003. After extensive non-mandatory testing and case presentation, she is honored to have become a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Pitcher is a Certified Sedation Provider in New York State. All of these accolades require multiple, extensive requirements to maintain annually.
As published in the Nov Dec 2014 edition of the (585) magazine, Dr. Pitcher has been awarded subsequent years as a Top Dentist as evaluated by her colleagues when asked, If you had a patient you needed to refer, who would you send them to? Dentists and patients are asked to take into consideration years of experience, continuing education, manners with patients, use of new techniques and technologies, and of course physical results.

Dr. Pitcher is by far, an amazing dentist. She demonstrates such care, patience and expertise with all of my children. My middle little has autism, and Dr. Pitcher was the perfect fit for her from the start. Dr. Pitcher's flexibility in scheduling and loyalty to make sure that your children get the best oral health care is far above the rest! In addition, she has a wealth of resources when your child may need or be ready for orthodontic care. Thank you Dr. Pitcher!

Dr. Pitcher and her staff are amazing! Everyone is very friendly and makes both my kids who have pretty bad anxiety feel comfortable! Dr. Pitcher also takes the time to meet with me separately at each visit to explain what she did or needs to do and why! I drive 45 minutes just to bring my kids there!

Two of my children had their first visits today. They have never been to the dentist before so I was a little nervous for how they would behave. When we entered, we were kindly welcomed by the receptionist. All of the employees we interacted with were very nice. They were right on time bringing my children in, took their time with their appointments and then took time to discuss everything afterwards with us. We did not feel rushed at all. The environment was friendly and my children left with happy SMILES. I couldn't have asked for a better first visit !

Dr. Pitcher and Dr. Rosen are wonderful. They are so great with my kids, explaining all the details in advance and showing them what they are doing. It really helps make the whole experience less scary. They were also amazing when my daughter broke a tooth with while we were vacationing in California. We were able to call them, send photos and video by email and find out it was something that could wait until we got home. We had an appointment within an hour of landing and now she has a beautifully repaired front tooth.

This office is the best. Office staff is courteous and competent, hygienists are great, Dr. Pitcher is excellent--competent, gentle, always takes the time to explain everything. I've been taking my kids to her for over twenty years and have only ever had positive experiences.

We had a phenomenal experience at Pitcher Dental! The office is beautiful and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Pitcher exceeded all expectations. Not only was she professional and skilled, but she made me and my young son feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire visit!
