Helping our children is the important part of what Pippin Dental does for families. Were making sure that all children have access to dental care services. Pippin Dental is committed to reducing the need for future extensive dental work & keeping kids healthy through preventative dental care & a range of community & educational programs.

The number of children not visiting the dentist or going to hospital ERs in Indianapolis tells us too many kids lack the primary dental care they need to prevent serious dental issues. Because these health issues can impact childrens ability to perform their best in school & live a successful life. Were finding ways to help kids get the dental care they need by accepting Medicaid & Commercial Insurance, Resolution Dental Discount Plan for families without insurance, school-based dental care visits & more.

Through our Kool Smiles Kids Club, kids (no matter their age) have the opportunity to earn rewards, grow & reach their unlimited potential. With an emphasis on creativity & values, Kool Smiles Kids Club helps give kids a sense of self, making a powerful contribution to their oral care health. Parents & families tell us their kids club experience helped diminish fear & instill confidence in their children.

Safely straighten your teeth discreetly, without letting anyone else know. We offer faster treatment times & can subtly straighten your smile & no one will know. Reveal Clear aligners are also removeable so, there are no restrictions on foods you can eat. Just remove them & eat or drink anything you want.

Probably yes. Clear aligners are appropriate for many teens and adults looking to straighten their teeth. To see if clear aligners are right for you, please schedule a FREE smile assessment with your dentist. Your dentist will provide you with a comprehensive oral exam to confirm candidacy for clear aligners.

If youre looking to straighten your teeth but want a more aesthetic solution, consider clear aligners. Clear aligners are a series of trays that move your teeth slowly to bring them into alignment. Treatment can include up to 30 trays, and each tray is worn for two weeks.

Took my daughter here once when she was 6. They refused to let me in the room with her. For a crown. It got to the point where the dentist doing the procedure got a major attitude with me. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. There is something VERY sketchy about this place. They gave NO REASON why I wasn't allowed back with her. I'll never come back and I hope they get shut down sooner than later.

Absolutely horrible experience. By the time my 2 year old and I left we were shaking! I absolutely would never recommend them and we will never be back! Very unprofessional.

Was supposed to bring my son here, woke up with a quite nasty voicemail about how you needed his insurance information ahead of the appointment and in some cases several days before. Why would I know that!? I didnt receive a form in the mail or my email to submit ahead of time. Nobody called in the months ahead of the appointment. If you're that nasty and unbusiness like I can find alot of different dentists in this area. Find a new receptionist that can manage the job and some professionalism. Never even got to give the dentist a chance, because I'm not dealing with your staff.

No stars for me. There was nothing passionate about my visit. I was told that I would have the laughing gas for comfort but it never happened. The doctor was not really friendly. He just got straight to it. It was a very aggressive procedure. I felt so disappointed afterwards. I will never schedule another appointment in the near future. Even though I still need work done.

If i could put no stars i most defiantly would. Took my 2 year old here was told she had 9 cavities and needed crowns on her teeth. Took her to another dentist for a second opinion and was told she has 3 with enamel coming off but that they werent anything that would need a filling let alone crowns. Also was told that they would not send her referral paperwork or xrays to another dentist and i could only obtain her xrays to my personal email. To top it all off, the night after her appointment my daughter is now running a high temp and throat is red and has bumps. How ironic! Would not recommend this place to anyone. wish i would have taken time to read reviews before sending my children here. its quite obvious what kind of facility this place is.

If I could give less than one star I would. I called in and told them we have been to two recent dental visits and my son needs a filling asap. We scheduled an appointment and my husband arrived and nobody was there. Lights on/ nobody in the office even though it was 9:30am and should be open. We got no notice of this at all! What a waste of our time off work after we have already taken two useless days off this month!!

My 2 and 4 year olds had their check ups today and this was their 2nd and 3rd time coming there. The DR is very blah and isn't very personable. But towards the end my 2 year old needed to get X-ray done and after the 3rd time they got it (my daughter was screaming of course). So me and my other daughter were sitting next to the toy box (MIND YOU THESE ARE CHEAP .50cent toys !!!) My 4 year old was picking a toy out for her sister and she had a few toys in her bag THEY WERE SMALL! And the store manager Tiffany Wilkson comes up to us and goes " You can't rob all of the toys you have to have some for the other kids "! Excuse ma'am my daughter was really excited to pick out a few toys after completing her appointment and she was just rude like why talk to a 4 year old about "robbing the toy box"??? I said she was VERY rude to speak to a child that way and i can't believe she's the manager. What a JOKE !!!! We dumped the toys my daughter picked out and i let them know we would NOT be back!!! Tired to give them a chance but nope I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The hygienist cleaning their teeth was awesome but anyone else literally didn't care Tiffany W you should definitely NOT be anyones manager. You don't have compassion for kids !!!! 0 stars!!!!!

If I had the option to give zero stars I would. My 14 year old had an appointment to get one tooth filled and did not want the laughing gas. Before my sons appointment one of the lady's in the front stated he wouldn't need the needles, this was when I took him in for a cleaning and was told he needed a fill due to one cavity. Now all of a sudden the day of his appointment I get told that he does need the needles and also laughing gas. Dr. Gross refused to perform the procedure without the laughing gas the day of my child's appointment. To me it sounded like he just wanted to get paid extra. Instead of allowing my child to feel comfortable and safe, he wanted to fill my child's lungs up with chemicals that we knew nothing about and not take out the time to educate us on it. I told him I've never had the laughing gas and was never turned away due to a dentist not feeling comfortable with performing a procedure of filling my tooth without the laughing gas. No wonder they changed their name and have mostly bad reviews. I would not recommend taking your child here. Dr. Gross only cares about adding on unnecessary things to your bill and has zero interest in what the parent and child wants and does not want.

Is not a kid friendly place! My 3 year old had a procedure done. Met the dentist AFTERWARDS and he wasn't all that friendly. Had terrible experience hearing my 3 year old screaming off the top of his lungs and they said he wasn't in pain and I know he was. I think I am more traumatized then him.

DO NOT do business with Pippin Dental under any circumstances. I don't care if they offer a good deal or what; do not be tempted. I had my wisdom teeth removed here about 6-8 months ago. That all went fine and dandy, I healed up perfectly. My issue is not with their dentists. They quoted us about $700 to perform the operation. After the fact, it turns out that insurance didn't pay out what they thought they would, so we owed another $500 bucks (and we paid for everything). Fast forward to today, and I now magically have 2 (two!) accounts in collections for over $200 under - who guessed it? - Pippin Dental. We paid everything they billed us off, and we have the paperwork to prove it. The people who work at Pippin Dental should be ashamed of their employer.

Awful, awful, awful place. They are rude, sneaky and money hungry. They pray on Medicaid children with unnecessary work and they are completely rude to the children while preforming said unnecessary work. I pray they get shut down and can no longer victimize and scar children!!! If you have Medicaid and need a wonderful dentist, head over to Gentle Care Family Dentistry. They're amazing and anything but rude.

I will never be taking my children back here, my 2 year olds experience was terrible. I wasn't allowed back with her and waited two hours for her to come out just for her to come out screaming running to me with throw up all over her shirt and hair. They never came out to tell me about her getting sick on herself or that she was having such a hard time. They put extra caps on that weren't talked about and overall terrible.

I got my wisdom teeth out last Friday and the surgeon was super quick they didn't make it a long anxious process. He got right to the point and got it done super fast all four out in 10 minutes. I'm healing amazing too I'm not sure if it's just my genetics or how he did it but I've had no pain at all while recovering. It was a little terrifying I was having an anxiety attack during the actual surgery I wish I would have been put under but, it did only take 10 minutes so that would be a waste of money on their behalf so fair enough.

They unnecessarily capped 4 of my child's teeth. Luckily for my children they are very compliant, and never strapped down. Taking your child here is signing yourself up to pay thousands of dollars to a therapist to help your child through the inevitable trauma that will be caused. Update it has been years since this post. I have been unsuccessful in getting any of them to even go for a teeth cleaning, for they are in traumatic fear of cappings and crownings. . I'm not sure how many of you know that infections of the teeth go directlyto the heart valves, but they do. So what am I to do know? I made a horrible mistake.....

If I could put barely a star I would. Just to let all parents know, do not take your kids into Kool Smiles/Pippin Dental to get fillings/teeth taken out/caps and or in general. I thought it was a good place but they scarred my childs face. They wouldn't let me back with her. This place is awful. They sent my child out with blood running down her face, and this scar on her face. It lasted atleast a month and there is still a scar on her face.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am not the type to visit a place one time and then leave a bad review so I have given this business three chances and every time has just been horrible and I feel my daughter is traumatized from the dentist they do not let parents bag with children they don't even let you sit with your child when they're in a large room getting teeth cleaned there's absolutely no privacy and they are rude! PARENTS LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS DO NOT GO HERE I AM OFFICIALLY CHANGING MY DAUGHTERS DENTIST. This place is horrific Also I suspect they did not numb my daughter all the way and they did four caps on her! 4! I believe it was unnecessary! I don't think she needed anything and they just do unnecessary work. This place is another look smiles horror story in the making, and it's a shame we had to be apart of it

I'm appalled this place is still in business. They are nasty and extremely rude to kids, and don't allow parents to stay with them. My 7 year old nephew went here and had a very traumatizing experience. These people are monsters.

I brought my almost 10 year old in to get his crowns on his root canals. Mind you, he took those like a CHAMP. Different dentist did these at another practice. That dentist says most adults don't even do as well as he did, in his practice. They were back there for a whole 15 minutes and came out saying they refuse to treat my son, because he was crying. Not screaming and throwing a fit, just crying. Why was he crying? Because the dentist that works with kids, every single day, had his tool tray right in my sons view. Needles and everything, UNCOVERED. As soon as my son started to cry, the dentist SHOOK HIS HEAD at my reasonably upset son, and says to him: "Nope we aren't doing this today!" And sent him with his assistant to the lobby where I was waiting. They refused to treat him after THEY scared him. He was set to get laughing gas and that should have been given before any of the tools were even brought into the room. I WILL not be going back to this dentist. If giving 0 stars was an option, I wouldn't have given them ANY.

They herd you through like cattle. Double booking. 8 chairs in the same room with clear dividers and no privacy for the kids to discuss any issues they have. Nobody introduces themselves. Hygienist spent 10 minutes or less on teeth cleaning. Wore the same plastic gown for PPE for each patient and didn't wash hands between, just partial hand sanitizer. Same for the dentist. They give them sunglasses to wear due to the bright light and don't clean them in between. Poor communication. I have guardianship of 2 boys and therefore they have Medicaid and it's sad the difference in care that you see. The dentist recommended a procedure for one and referrals for both and didn't even discuss this with us, a staff member did. On the way out, they scheduled a 6 month follow up without asking what worked for us. I told them multiple times and wrote it on paperwork that I was guardian and had to present guardian paperwork. When I reminded her again she shrugged her shoulders. Listen to the reviews and avoid if at all possible.
