Dr. Fred Piper has been in practice as a Memphis orthodontist since 1986. With locations in Midtown Memphis and East Memphis, his offices are within easy reach of dozens of schools. Nearby suburbs are East Memphis, Germantown, Cordova, Eads, and Collierville.
With over 30 years of experience in orthodontics, Dr. Piper can correct conditions that interfere with the function of the teeth. Those methods might include traditional braces, retainers, clear aligners, and TMJ therapy.

Dr. Piper may as well be family at this point! He put my braces on at 12 years old , 23 years old and now 30 years old ( I promise to keep up with my retainer this time :-| ) ... any who his skills , staff and demeanor are excellent. These days , finding quality customer service is so hard but he and his staff are beyond legit . He really knows his stuff and he has perfected my smile each time I've come for help !

Dr. Piper and his staff are very pleasant, efficient and professional. He's treated my TMJ for several years, making adjustments and suggestions when necessary. The office is nice and "kid friendly." It's easy to get an appointment and even cancel/change an appointment. I recommend him as a knowledgeable and trustworthy doctor.

So I go in, in 2015 for a tmj consult!!! I pay the $75 for the consult & told them that I would get back with them. My insurance did not cover tmj Treatment, and i opted not to go back b/c there was no guarantee that would ease my pain . He said it would likely, and this thing he suggested was like $800. I call them back 2018 to seek a consult for braces, and the lady Dana tells me she needed to confer with him because I refused treatment. I asked her how was this conclusion drawn, and I had only been in once for the consult. She proceeds to tell me that it was just coded like that and my insurance wasnt going to pay much for braces either and I hadn't even provided her with any updated info. Then was told that they didn't have any space for new pts. I have my friend to call, and she gets an appt. Why lie about this!! Crazy and wouldn't go here!!!!
