Dr. Cserna is a 1982 graduate of Fresno State, where she received her Bachelor of Arts. After obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, she went on to complete a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She practiced general dentistry in rural Nebraska and taught at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry for several years. Dr. Cserna returned to the College of Dentistry to earn her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in 1996 as well as a Masterof Sciencein oral biology.
Dr. Cserna is absolutely committed to staying uptodate with the newest advances in orthodontics. She takes at least 20 to 30 continuing-education hours a year, tolearnnew skills that will benefit her patients and provide more effective and efficient treatments for everyone. She has participated in a regional study group of orthodontists who use Damon Smile and has been a Damon user since 1992. Dr. Cserna is also an Invisalign Premier Provider. This status required numerous hours of training to achieve.

I am afinancial and treatment coordinator. What started as a part-time job in 1995 is now a full-time work position in whichI feel blessed every day with the greatest patients in the world! I am here to help you with your financial needs and coordination of your treatment. I also help my team by keeping track of paperwork and communicating with patients follow-up questions. I love building relationships with my patients and their families and seeing them smile.
I have lived in Lincoln all but 13 years of my life, during which I lived in York. I have two sons, a daughter, and a grandson. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, reading, and traveling. My oldest son is abasketball coach, and I enjoy following the progress of his teams.
I am originally from Johnson,but have lived in Lincoln since 1999. I am married with three stepchildrenand two pets. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, friends, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors.
I gladly brought more than 11 years of experience working in the field of orthodontics to Dr. Csernas practice. I really enjoy how fun our office is, yet still professional. The most important part of the job is seeing that your final smile is healthy and brilliant. What makes me look forward to every day is how much enjoyment I take from being here with you and our caring staff.
I am originally from Ogallala but have relocated to the Lincoln area. My husband and I have three children, a granddaughter, and two dogs. I enjoy home decorating and working in the yard doing landscaping. I do all I can to take advantage of life and laugh loudly and often.
I have been working in orthodontics since 1991. I assist Dr. Cserna with all orthodontic procedures and ensure that each patient has a wonderful experience here. The best part of my job is helping each patient progress through treatment, and seeing their beautiful smiles in the end! Dr Cserna is an attentive listener who takes time answering questions. She's gentle and my 8 year old is never nervous going to her appointments. Every treatment Dr Cserna has recommended and done for us has been successful. She is an expert and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great smiling teeth for our children, but more importantly Dr. Cserna does a great job explaining what is happening and walking us through options and goals. She commnicates well with our general dentist as well. Staff is always wonderful, flexible, and friendly!

I have a very timid 7 year old so to have to send her in to her first appointment all by herself was hard for both of us. My daughter came out of the office skipping and smiling. I'm so thankful Dr.Cserna made me and my daughter feel so comfortable. She is fantastic with kids.

Every single one of the staff members is so nice and tentative to your needs! They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Saw Dr. Cserna for Invisalign treatments and the process was so easy and smooth and the final product is AMAZING! Pioneer Orthodontics was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend to anyone and everyone!

There are very few people in the world and even fewer in the medical profession that would treat their clients like family. That's just what Dr. Cserna and her staff do for us. Not only are they warm, caring, and completely professional, they are understanding, patient and most of all, loving. My son suffers from high anxiety and installing a palate expander then braces was a frightening experience to say the least. When my son flipped out and demanded the palate expander out of his mouth, Dr. Cserna removed it immediately. My son realized the gravity of the situation and the importance of fixing his teeth and had the palate expander reinstalled and is doing amazing! He now has braces and occasionally has an issue. When we need to see Dr. Cserna we get in immediately. And most often we need her after hours. What doctor on the planet would give you her personal cellphone number and meet you in her office at 7 o'clock in the evening?? Only one. The Fabulous Dr. Cserna! I would recommend no other orthodontist for yourself and your children. There is absolutely no substitute! And I have to mention that their office allows me to make monthly payments on my account. We love Dr. Cserna!! Three out of four of my children have now been or are receiving orthodontic work here for a couple years. The whole office is kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic work! All three needed braces. My oldest was in braces and received great care. She was placed with a retainer at the end to help her teeth from shifting. Two are in braces currently and we are seeing great results. The financial part is well explained from the beginning and they even have an online tool to help calculate payments. They work well with my insurance and our payments!

Horrible experience Got the impression all they wanted to was my money. Staff was very rude. Did not put a retainer (after asking for one) on so my child's teeth did not stay in place. Ended up going to another DDS and had a much better results. Was a costly mistake.
