Dr. Chris spends much of his free time educating and mentoring other dentists on CEREC technology. Our dental office is also used as the centerpiece for educating the local dental school faculty on the impact of integrating cone beam and CEREC technology.
Pioneer Greens Dentistry is the proud hosting site of the local study club. Our study club makes sure that we are discussing and implementing the most innovative technology and techniques available with other dentists around the region.
We live in Lincoln, have friends in the community, and are dedicated to establishing and maintaining relationships with our patients and community partners. We love seeing members of our community in the dental office, too!
Dr. Chris has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years so far, and he enjoys working closely with his wife Dr. Claire every day in order to provide compassionate, community-driven care to patients from all over Lincoln and the surrounding communities. Dr. Chris grew up on a farm in Southwest Nebraska, in a very small town where it was generally accepted that everyone born there would grow up, stay, and become a farmer too. However, he had a dream to do something bigger and a little different for his own career. As soon as he was exposed to the world of dentistry, he realized that it was the right fit for his strengths and passions. Hes never regretted that decision for a second!
Dr. Chris graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1992, and hes been here ever since. Hes also used CEREC since 2001 and loves teaching other dentists and dental students about the merits of this modern technology. He is currently a guest lecturer at the UNMC College of Dentistry and a mentor in the CEREC program at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. The best teachers never stop learning, which is why hes also a student of The Spear Center for Dentistry, and his dedication to excellence along with his continuing education and experience gives patients the confidence they need to accept his treatment recommendations.
Dr. Clairegraduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1994. She has experience in a wide variety of clinical settings and is enthusiastic about the dental technology we have to offer our patients here at Pioneer Greens Dentistry. She is active in the CEREC (one-day crowns) Study Club of Lincoln, has studied numerous courses in implantology, dental laser use, Invisalign, and believes in lifelong continuing education. She has a compassionate and caring nature that you can be sure will exceed your expectations of a pleasant dental experience!
Dr. Claire also takes time to volunteer at the Peoples City Mission to offer care to members of our community in serious need of basic dental care. Giving back to our community is an important part of the philosophy of Pioneer Greens Dentistry.

I recently moved back to Nebraska and needed to have a cleaning and even though I live an hour and a half away, I wanted to come back to Dr Chris and Dr Claire! They are the best dentists I have ever gone to. They make you feel like family! It was so good to see them again!

A neighbor referred me to Pioneer Greens Dentistry and I'm so happy she did. I moved to Lincoln 2+ years ago but have been going to Des Moines for my dental work. Everyone at Pioneer Greens was so welcoming, kind and helpful. It's the first time I've had a dentist say, "tell me about yourself and your dental needs". He spent an hour we me listening to what my dental challenges are, taking photos of my teeth so I could see what's happening with them and then laying out a plan of action. We'll get started in a few weeks and I'm looking forward to feeling good about my smile again. Thank you to the whole crew!

Everyone here puts you at ease and makes you feel welcome. I have been afraid of the dentist since I was little. I've had some really horrible experiences that made me shun the dentist for over 15 years. I was quite scared of the pain. Dr Chris and everyone here are so kind, compassionate, friendly and funny. You will not regret coming here!
