Dr. Okey Okechukwu is from Minneapolis, Minnesota where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He earned his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry where he attended various Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery externships while pursuing his degree. As a clinician, Dr. Okechukwu is constantly learning and has attended numerous continuing education courses to further his craft. He has invested time away from practice in advanced surgical training courses with a focus on oral implantology and facial bone grafting techniques in Mexico and Nicaragua and has obtained mastership and fellowship credentials with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
Dr. Okechukwu loves taking a comprehensive approach in treating his patients and was recently appointed to be an associate faculty for the Live Implant Training Program in Nicaragua where he will be training fellow doctors on the surgical principles of implant placement.
When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. O, as he is fondly called by his patients, enjoys physical fitness and exploring local cuisine. He is also involved in various community outreach programs across the world.

Dr. O is a great dentist. I didnt feel any pain with my treatment. The dental assistant was very gentle during my procedure. The lady at the front went over all my financial options with me and went over my insurance information.

I HIGHLY recommend Pioneer Dentistry. The front office ladies are so welcoming and will work with you to give you appointments that fit into your schedule. Dr. O is an amazing dentist. I got veneers and he did an amazing job they look so natural. I now have my dream smile and it's all thanks to Dr.O.

Dr. O is the absolute best dentist I've ever encountered. He truly cares for his patients and took the time to thoroughly explain my issues. Highly recommend for anyone that's scared or haven't been to the dentist in awhile as he really makes you comfortable.

Took my two youngest kids to see Dr. Okechukwu yesterday for the first time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And they were all amazing with the kids. Very patient. My children have lots of hereditary dental issues and he was able to take care of some of their needs right after their cleanings. He also made great recommendations for an orthodontist and Oral Surgeon for their other issues. Will be bringing my oldest in next week and will continue to use this office for all of our dental needs.

1st time seeing a dentist since moving to Texas. Chose Pioneer in Willis because they are close to home. Had a pleasant visit. Found them polite, professional and promp,t and the facility is clean. Will visit again.
