Dr. Okey Okechukwu is from Minneapolis, Minnesota where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He earned his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry where he attended various Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery externships while pursuing his degree. As a clinician, Dr. Okechukwu is constantly learning and has attended numerous continuing education courses to further his craft. He has invested time away from practice in advanced surgical training courses with a focus on oral implantology and facial bone grafting techniques in Mexico and Nicaragua and has obtained mastership and fellowship credentials with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
Dr. Okechukwu loves taking a comprehensive approach in treating his patients and was recently appointed to be an associate faculty for the Live Implant Training Program in Nicaragua where he will be training fellow doctors on the surgical principles of implant placement.
When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. O, as he is fondly called by his patients, enjoys physical fitness and exploring local cuisine. He is also involved in various community outreach programs across the world.

First time here at this place. 8/8/2020 wait wasn't long..The tech and the Dr..older guy was wonderful. I was in and out for a cleaning.

Clean office! Very kid friendly! The staff are very professional and compassionate! I have been to this office a number of times and it is always a great experience. Oh, and Dr. O rocks!!

I am so grateful for this practice. I was attending a conference in Conroe when I developed the moat excruciating tooth pain from an infected cavity. I googled 'dentist near me' and came upon this practice. The staff were very warm and welcoming and Dr. Okechukwu effortlessly performed an emergent root canal for me. I immediately felt better and I would recommend this practice to anybody looking for a compassionate and competent dentist. Thank you Pioneer Dentistry!

The doctors are amazing. I left so much happier with my smile. My ignorance caused a filling to come out and they got me in and out quickly to get it fixed. And then called the next day to make sure everything was better :). If you are looking for a caring and personable staff, go see Dr. O's staff!

Very good job! The employment was very well mannered. They were kind, funny, and I even learned new things from them. They guide you through everything and make sure that you feel comfortable. I will gladly come back because not only did they make my smile look great but I also made new friends. They also speak spanish so that was also really helpful! I really recommend coming to Pioneer Dentistry of Conroe.

I went a month ago and the assistants were great all the staff was great! But the doctor wasn't so good had a mean attitude with the assistants I would not recommend!!! He was talking to me in a rude way as well I understand when you're not having it but don't get it out on the patients!! I heard a lot of people tell me this I didn't listen!!

Customer service was absolutely amazing! Everyone is so nice and friendly! Dr. Okey is truly a caring, genuine person! He makes dentists visits way less scary!
