Dr. Amit Kalavadiya initially earned his dental degree from India and then practiced as a Dental Surgeon for five years before pursuing dentistry in the United States. Dr. Amit Kalavadiya graduated from the highly competitive International Dentist Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey while also being on the Deans List. After graduating, Dr. Kalavadiya went on to further training by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Lukes University Health Network in Pennsylvania. While at St. Lukes Dr. Kalavadiya sharpened his skills and gained valuable experience in general dentistry with additional emphasis in restorative and implant dentistry.
Since residency Dr. Kalavadiya has primarily worked on the care of patients in the private practice setting, with focus on restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. He works closely with his patients and believes that active communication with the patient is a key component of the treatment plan in order to optimize end results. Dr. Kalavadiya presents various treatment options and takes the time to explain in detail the advantages and disadvantages so his patients have a complete understanding of their options. He truly believes in an individualized treatment plan for every patient based on their own needs and goals.
Dr. Kalavadiya continues to better his knowledge and skill by engaging in continuing education and participating in numerous scientific sessions, courses, workshops, and seminars. He is a member of American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologist, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.Apart from his dental practice Dr. Kalavadiya is a clinical instructor at St. Lukes University Health Network and enjoys life with his lovely wife and three kids.

Dr. K and his staff are phenomenal! I put off going to the dentist regularly after several bad experiences and I decided to give this practice a try. My experience so far has been fabulous and I highly encourage anyone else who is in the same boat to see Dr. K! The entire staff is incredibly kind, compassionate, and thorough.

In general, I don't like dentist at all and had bad experience qith many doctors, but Dr K in one of the few doctors I can deal with and feel very comfortable. He is very good , clean,friendly, honest, professional.

Doctor Kalavadiya is by far the BEST dentist I have had in my 50+ years!! I love the fact that he is a perfectionist and is a master of his art!! He always provides the Best in whatever dental procedure he does and I have Always walked out of his office knowing I received the Absolute Best care!! I recently needed to find a new Dentist due to changing insurance companies. I researched Dentists in the network. After ruling out several due to negative reviews, I came upon Pioneer Dentistry and its great reviews. I was not disappointed! Dr Kalavadiya took great care to go over his findings upon checking out my teeth. He helped with improving my dental hygiene at home and I felt very comfortable with him. The entire staff is very friendly and efficient. Oh I had the best cleaning I have ever had!

Fantastic office, keeping them even after moving 40+ minutes away! After having an old crown come loose, Dr. K was able to get me in quickly and fix the problem and come up with a long term plan that works for me. Absolutely fantastic!

Doctor Kalavadiya is definitely the BEST dentist I have ever had. Him and his team are very welcoming and friendly and will explain the procedure beforehand. I recently needed to have a crown put on and he only needed to use one shot and numbed the whole area! I highly recommend Doctor Kalavadiya to anyone looking for a dentist.
