I began my career in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse, and realized that I wanted to do more to prevent disease, instead of merely treating it. Between regular hygiene visit and exams to oral education for adults and children, we are focused at trying to prevent oral disease.In addition, I love being able to provide exceptional care. People deserve to have the best treatment, and that is what we strive to offer.
My formal education included earning my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at theUniversity of Louisville School of Dentistry, but my hunger for knowledge didnt stop there. I average over 50 hours of continuing education every year in areas such as Invisalign, Zoom! whitening, Lumineers, and implants. One topic that has been the most helpful to my patients is the use of Oral Conscious Sedation in the treatment of adult patients who suffer from dental anxiety.
I participate in continuing education so that I may offer the best treatment options to my patients. Things change so quickly in our field, and I cannot claim to be a dental pioneer unless I am keeping up with the changes in the industry.
I am originally from Fond du Lac and currently reside in Jackson with my wife, Amy, our children Kaitlyn and Scott, a dog named Cora, a cat named Arie, and a gecko named Grover. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, reading, and traveling. My family and I love to watch movies together and have a movie night almost every week.
I have participated in the Relay for Life, theAlzheimers walk, and theJuvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk. All of these organizations have a special meaning to me. In addition, I have helped at the annual Wisconsin Mission of Mercy and have traveled to Guatemala to provide dental care for children and adults in areas where quality dental care is not accessible. I believe I have been blessed to be in the position to help those in my community and around the world live healthier, happier lives.
My family and I enjoy all types of sports and activities, including baseball, basketball, snowboarding, and football. We enjoy music, our dog, and doing everyday things together. I am also a certified fitness instructor and have been teaching classes in West Bend since 1984
I have been in the dental field since 2007 and have been fortunate to be further trained at Pioneer Dental. Dr. Meyers is so dedicated to his patients and encourages us all to continue our education to better serve them. I have been and Administrative Assistant for most of my time here at Pioneer Dental, and I enjoy learning from people that are truly knowledgeable in dental services.
I like making a difference in our patients lives and educating them about their oral hygiene. As a Hygienist, Igather information about each patients oral health, andprovidepreventive and therapeutic care for our patients. Working with Dr. Meyers is great because he is truly compassionate about his job. He helps patients feel comfortable in the office and explains everything thoroughly. He likes to be on the cutting edge with the latest technology so he is able to provide the best care and dental services.
I began working as a dental hygienist in the summer of 1995, after I graduated from the University of Iowa. I began working at Pioneer Dental in April of 1997. I review all the necessary information about my patients oral health in order to provide the highest quality preventive and therapeutic care for them. It is very gratifying to counsel patients on home care, as well as the care we provide them here at our office. I enjoy the fact that I can make a difference not only in their oral health, but in their overall health as well. Dr. Meyers truly cares about the patients he sees and works hard to build a good rapport with them.
I am a mother of three wonderfully spunky children and wife to a very active husband. I enjoy being active outdoors, traveling, and doing tae kwon do. I also spend a great deal of time helping out at my childrens school.
I assist Dr. Meyers during treatment of patients, welcome and interview new patients to our office, and am responsible for OSHA training and compliance. My dental career started in 1995, and I joined the Pioneer Dental team in 2008. I enjoy learning new, innovative dental techniques and working as a team to achieve our patients goal of excellent dental health. Dr. Meyers is professional, gentle, and takes the time to give compassionate care to all his patients.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my granddaughter. I am passionate about creatively decorating my house, planning tea parties, and finding treasures at flea markets. I also belong to a book club and help lead the childrens ministry at my church.
I began my dental career in 2012 after I graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College with an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. I recently joined the Pioneer Dental team in May of 2014. I enjoy educating patients on their individual oral hygiene needs and helping them make an overall difference in their health. I especially love working with children and teaching them the proper techniques to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
My dental career started in 1988 and I joined Pioneer Dental in 2019. Im the person who does the welcome interviews for new patients to our office, and I assist Dr Meyers during treatment. I enjoy keeping my patients smiling with a healthy mouth. I love meeting new people and enjoy educating them on ways to keep their teeth their healthy for their whole life.

All sorts of problems here, Jane the office manager is real pleasant until you question her about something....she will get very defensive quickly...Dr Meyers was good up until he couldn't read an x ray the right way and went against what a specialist suggested. Just one example out of 4-5.....I had a prep temporary crown done....the minute I was done I said something isn't right as I had pain in that tooth before leaving there....the assistant (short dark curly red hair) just take a few ibuprofen....never said well if it don't go away in a few days to call back Ect....went 3-4 weeks with pain ....went back in and said it was the bite on the temporary crown....Dr Meyers took it down some and said should be good....A week later still pain I go in for crown and he says we can't do this ....you need to see our root canal specialist....what a hoax that is ....I went to a different specialist for under a 100.00 ....mind you Meyers specialist (buddy) will charge 340.00 for an evaluation.....it all came down to the type of product Dr Meyers used on my temporary crown.... They Love to charge charge charge.... a cash paying client as well. I'm still trying to get my dental records and reimbursement for labor. One girl there that is always nice and explains details is Angela. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I received a referral from a coworker for Dr. Carl Meyers. I was impressed with him and his staff from the minute I walked in the door. His staff are super friendly and attentive. Instead of taking me right back to the exam area right away his assistant first took me to a patient room to ask me questions about my oral health. She listened carefully to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. The whole process of my first visit was super smooth and painless. Dr Meyers is a pleasure to work with and made me feel like he really cared about me. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I will be calling and scheduling my husband his exam shortly!

I have been going to Dr. Meyer's for years now and really like the service that I have received. He is so nice and has a great sense of humor. He also is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff! I really like that he makes sure that he shares his knowledge so your not left in the dark. My two daughter also go to Dr. Meyer's and love the experience. I'm super impressed with the way the hygienist and Dr. Meyer's take their time to explain everything to both girls in a way that they will understand and not be afraid, This is especially important since my younger daughter gets afraid easily due to anxiety. Their fantastic bed side manner has my girls both walking out smiling every time. I really appreciate that this office treats us like people and not just another set of teeth.I would definitely recommend Dr. Meyer's and his wonderful staff!

My husband, Jim, had an excellent experience with his procedure today. Dr. Meyer used a new numbing technique which allowed Jim to feel zero pain. This is particularly important to us since Jim has a severe needle phobia and has a difficult time facing various dental and medical procedures. He felt so great after his procedure today, which was a HUGE relief to both of us. Thank you to the entire Pioneer Dental team for taking such great care of him today.

Best dental office around! Every staff member is kind and caring. You can feel the upbeat mood as soon as you walk through the door. Dr. Meyers is extremely thorough in everything he does, including explaining your dental needs and treatment plan. I strongly dislike going to the dentist, but at Pioneer Dental, I've never felt more content, confident, and relaxed with a dentist before! So glad I made the switch. I'll definitely be sticking around and recommending friends and family!

Pioneer Dental is not completely honest in regards to being an in-network or out-of-network provider with your insurance. The staff is trained to use a script with very specific words which can mislead you and allow them to make the biggest profit possible. Pioneer Dental calls this "freedom of choice" and prevents them from being "tripped up when a patient attempts to contradict what we've said". If you believe you are going to an in-network provider and tell them that, Pioneer Dental staff will say they "accept your insurance" and "preventive services should be covered at 100%. We'll go ahead and send that in for you." To me, that means they agree with me about in-network and will submit the claim to the insurance. To them, this means they will send your claim to the insurance company and you are responsible for all charges. It turns out, Pioneer Dental knew they did not have a contract with my insurance and were not an in-network provider. This allows them to charge me $289 for basic dental cleaning, x-rays, and exam (which should have free for me). While this is not illegal, it feels yucky to be mislead by medical professionals so they can increase their own profits. If I cannot trust them to be honest with me about their charges and business practices, why should I trust them the dental health of me and my family?

I have been a patient at Pioneer Dental for 12 years. Dr. Meyers' chairside manner and clinical skills are unmatched! The staff is so friendly and professional. They truly make you feel like a friend and help you make the best choices for your dental care. They'll even babysit your children while you're there! My kids beg to go! Even the people who work there have been there for a long time, which shows that they enjoy what they do and work well together! You will always feel welcome, comfortable and well cared for there.
