Dr. Po-Hsi Wu, specialized in Pediatric Dentistry. He is board certifiedwith the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He received his D.M.D from Tufts University,School of Dental Medicine and also completed his post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry there. Dr. Wu served as a full-time faculty at Tufts Dental School for several years before he co-founded Pioneer Dental in 1995.
Dr. Wu had extensive training in restorative dentistry,interceptive orthodontics and hospital dentistry for patients with special needs. Dr. Wu is an active member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Massachusetts Dental Society.He is currently on the dental staff of Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston.
Dr. Sin-Ying (Cindy) Yu is the Orthodontic specialist at Pioneer Dental. She brings over 15 years of working experience in orthodontics for both adults and children. Dr.Yu received her Orthodontic residency training at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she attained the Certificate in Orthodontics and the Master of art degree with her graduate study on craniofacial development. A graduate from the School of Dentistry National Taiwan University, Dr. Yu received her Doctor of Dental Medicine's Advanced Standing D.M.D Program.
Dr. Lebowitz grew up on the New Jersey shore,and studied Biochemistry at Boston University.He received his DMD from Tufts Dental and is a graduate of the Harvard University-VA hospital system Periodontology residency.He lives on the North shore of Boston and enjoys the company of his children.

Been going to pioneer dental for well over 15 years and never really had a bad experience until recently. They called me last week to change an appointment I had scheduled about 6 months ago. I understand that Hygieniest need days off for whatever reason so that was ok. The secretary rescheduled me for another date, and I never received a follow up call. Today, I missed my appointment, because I didn't get a call and did not write it down(my fault). After 15 years + of going here, not missing a single appointment , I was charged 50 dollars for that appointment. Money isn't the issue here, but the cancelation by them and a miss by me should be off setting penalties. After this, I decided to end my 15+ years of going to pioneer dental and changed dental offices. The office has gone way down hill.

I have been to Pioneer Dental for over 30 years! The entire medical team is so efficient and friendly!! Most importantly, They give honest suggestions if necessary. The protocol during pandemic is easy and mindfree.

Dr Wu has been our family dentist for over 20 years, we are happy with all his work, besides regular cleaning, we have done fillings, mouth guards and teeth whitening. There has never been unnecessary dental work. Dr. Wu is the best.

Very kind and professional dental work done here. The assistant was so nice and calming, I was a little nervous and she helped me to relax. The doctor was very helpful and explained to me the work I needed to get done and answered all my questions.

It's been about 5 years since my last cleaning and I have to say that Pioneer Dental did an awesome job. Mary was very thorough with the cleaning and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Wu and his staff are super friendly and I couldn't be more happier coming here as a patient. Highly recommend!

Do not be fooled by the "Excellent" reviews. This place is a money milk maker with the only purpose for profit for their own good (other than major dental work) and will make up something to convince you to get fillings even though there wasn't one. Frankly, the only honest one I have worked with while I was there was Dr. Ko, and their assistants were rude & unprofessional at best and my last experience made me never see a dentist again. Review from July 2015: I went for a cleaning on July 8 there was a blond women telling me I had 2 cavities in my mouth along with a developing one in my mouth and told me to be careful. When I checked out the receptionist told me I had 4 cavities in my teeth and needed to schedule 2 fillings. They didn't give me a reason why. I think they were doing it because of the money and has no sympathy for patients like me and I left the office very angry. I Will never trust this horrid dentist company ever again. The atmosphere is very unfriendly. This dentist is recommended for kids only.

I have been going to pioneer dental for more than 20 years. Both of our daughters also have been there since they were really young as well. Doctor Wu is the best. He takes care of all my dental need except root canal. My root canal is done by Dr. Chao-Ming Lee who specializes in endodontics in the same office. She is super nice as well. Staffs are also super friendly which makes our dental visit much easier. Even my 10 years old daughter said so. I highly recommended Pioneering Dental.

Exceptional and friendly service! My family of 4 have been coming here for close to 30 years since our 2 boys were still toddlers. What more can we possibly say? It's just everything we can possibly expect of an overall excellent dental practice.

Love Love Love Pioneer Dental! I used to have terrible dental anxiety until I came to this clinic 16+ years ago. The team at Pioneer Dental is so incredibly professional, attentive, and took a lot of care making me (and also my family) feel comfortable. The amazing front desk staff are always so welcoming and helpful. The dental assistants and hygienists are always very friendly, non-judgmental and very gentle with me. The dentists (esp. Dr. Wu) are very professional. They always make me feel comfortable about all the procedures I needed and have never once pressurized me to do anything unless I'm ready. I would definitely recommend Pioneer Dental to anyone looking for top quality dental care!

I've been going to Pioneer Dental for at least 15 years now, and I've never had any complaints. Everyone's there is really nice, and it's clear they care about patients. Plus there's free parking.

This place is amazing. Dr. Nguyen is the most gentle dentist I've ever been to. I needed a lot of work that I had been putting off, and they took great care of me. The office staff are really super nice and friendly too. And I felt very safe with all the covid precautions. I can't recommend them highly enough.
