An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Nina and Dr. Jae really helped me and my teeth get back on track. After not being to the dentist since the pandemic started. It was really satisfying having clean teeth again.

I took appointment for me & my son in this place but the customer service was poor. the receptionist was un polite so I had to cancel my appointment

One thing that I'm at fault off is always being a procrastinator when it comes to seeing a dentist. Came here for the first time and from the start it was a good experience. From being helped out by Nina and talking about anime. To Dr Jae being thorough and explaining to me everything as we went made coming here a wise choice. Found my dentist for the future.

I came to Pinole Modern Dentistry for my dental treatments for about 6 months already. I love the office. Dr. Teang, Dr. Chung are highly skilled dentists. I felt so enjoyable for these two dentists to treat my tooth. The office has been very clean, good dentists, customer service. Sydney, Sylvia, Nina have been making me feel like a home. The new dental hygiene - Rubab is very good too. She cleaned my tooth very nice and I felt so enjoyable and happy to have her cleaning my tooth. I recommended Pinole Modern Dentistry to you.

Dr antiono is great , but the staff is HORRIBLE!!!. they are rude the Manger there is rude she doesn't help with patient care. She is racist person . I will never spend my money there!!

Their office is super clean and the dentist is so detailed about my explaining everything which I appreciated so much and everyone is super friendly and they actually care about their patients , I totally recommend them to everyone I've been with them for years and wouldn't change them for anything .

My family signed up with this office this year through our insurance and my wife went there for a routine cleaning and got cheated. They took x rays but didn't give her any cleaning. They told her her teeth have many problems; she couldn't even remember all the problems they told her. In the end, the doctor refused to give her a routine cleaning and told her to come back for a cleaning that she needs to pay out of pocket $400 plus hundreds more to fill a teeth. My wife is middle age and has been going to dentist routinely and regularly and had never had any tooth problem. This dentistry is the only place that we been to for decades of dental visits that refuse to give us the insurance covered free routine cleaning and will only clean if we pay hundreds more out of pocket. My wife refuse to pay for another visit, the office told us that we can find another dentist to do the cleaning. However I know after the office took the X-ray, which insurance only pay once, I will have pay out of pocket to get X-ray with a new dentist if I switch. I am sure the office knows it. This practice is shady. The dentist that my wife saw was Dr. Teang.

Beware of this place, hide your money. They had me pay $800 until the insurance paperwork went through. Well the insurance went though, they were paid 100 percent from the insurance company over a month ago, and they wont return my calls (20 calls to date) to reimburse me my $800. I bet if I owed them money they would be calling me back. Sylvia is the office manager I have been leaving two calls a week for, never calls me back. Terrible place. Just like a fox, they will smile at you while they are stealing from you.

This is the best dentistry care office I ever been. The staff is friendly, the facility very clean, modern and the staff follows 100% of the COVID-19 protocols, the location is perfect! Dr.Teang is an amazing professional and did a wonderful treat on my smile. I highly recommend them!

Unfortunately I have to give it 1 star. I scheduled an appointment that took a month to happen(05/15/21- 08:00am) , I arrive at the place on time and guess what? nobody was there just myself and three others customers. To go straight to the point, they did not open and forgot to communicate. Of course I called and they answered, apologized and informed that they would reschedule the appointment in two weeks ..... after 30 minutes the call went down and no one gave me a call back. Do you know how manage a company/business? Really Bad management. Please respect people's schedule.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. The Dentist Antono Teang is absolutely horrible he cares about his children patients NOT at all he will do absolutely nothing for you and then be rude and disrespectful when you ask him to help. I am unsure why they accept emergencies or children because he can't work on children he doesn't know how and isn't comfortable doing so which is scary in itself. I'm reporting this office to my insurance so they do not continue to waste money on this facility that can't actually do dentistry work just collect the monthly insurance check and refer you out. Booking here is a waste of time if you actually need something done. Just a warning if your looking for a capable dentist that cares about you and your family's needs and health go anywhere else!! On a positive note the front desk lady is nice good service ends there.

AVOID THIS DENTAL OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!! They are literally CONN ARTISTS that deceive you into getting treatments and then instead of billing your insurance they try to put you on a payment plan to make you pay out of pocket. This is how they make their money, through patients paying out of pocket, not insurance! The owner Antono Teang is the one that insisted I get 3 porcelain/ ceramic crowns for my fractured incisors (front teeth), which I knew were covered through my insurance, but when he filed my insurance claim he deemed it "not medically necessary" so it got denied. Initially his office didn't even file the claim properly, not sending in proper documents as xrays! This was his plan all along, obviously to make the patient pay more, instead of getting small monthly increments through contracted insurance. Also, forget trying to get a hold of someone to talk to about insurance and billing, because they avoid those calls and reroute you to an answering machine. I know this for a fact, because I have called with my insurance agent on a 3-way call and all they did was keep us on hold, or send us to an answering machine. I'm HORRIFIED that someone from a medical profession would TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PATIENTS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED!
