Dr. Ketan Parekh grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas. He attended Pittsburg State University where he received a dual degree in Biology and in Psychology. He went on to pursue his dental degree in Tennessee, graduating number 1 in his class. He then completed an advanced specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Level 1 Trauma Hospital MetroHealth Medical Center and at the world-renowned academic medical center, The Cleveland Clinic. During his training, Dr. Parekh had the privilege of treating advanced surgical cases that included maxillofacial pathology, dentofacial deformities, and facial trauma. Dr. Parekh has spent an extensive amount of time training in Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Surgical Intensive Care, and Internal Medicine. His interests are in pediatric and adult anesthesia, facial trauma, dental implants, Teeth in a Day, and wisdom teeth surgery. His strong work ethic and desire to help others has allowed him to touch the lives of many. He believes in integrity, understanding, and respect for his patients and colleagues.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Parekh maintains a faculty position as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He also has hospital affiliations and full admission privileges with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Dallas and Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall, Texas.
Dr. Parekh is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. His memberships include the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and currently serves as President of the Rockwall Dental Society.
Volunteering for mission trips has always been important to Dr. Parekh. He takes part in several medical mission trips throughout the United States, Mexico, and South America. In his spare time, Dr. Parekh stays extremely active in CrossFit training, has run several marathons, and enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs Football team; most importantly is spending time outside of the office with his wife Jennifer and their two young children. Dr. Parekh met his wife, Jennifer while in dental school. Dr. Jennifer Chou is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who maintains a practice in Rockwall, Texas. Together, they call Rockwall their home and are happy to raise their children in a supportive and close-knit community.
Dr. David Martinez was raised in California and attended the University of California at Davis. He attended A.T. Still University (ATSU), Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health where he earned his dental degree and graduated number 1 in his class.
After dental school, Dr. Martinez began his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center. While at Baylor University Medical Center Dr. Martinez served as Chief Resident of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Dr. Martinez also received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Martinez has a great passion for community service. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Martinez is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) at Texas A&M College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Luisa Rios is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS), Summa Cum Laude, graduating number 1 in her class from Marquette University School of Dentistry and also completed her Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Before joining Pinnacle, Dr. Rios completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry as well as Baylor University Medical Center.
Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, Dr. Rios moved and lived in Wisconsin before settling down in DFW. She has a passion for providing personalized, attentive oral & maxillofacial surgery care to her patients. She is committed to providing the highest standard of care while treating each patient like family.
Outside of the medical field, Dr. Rios and her husband welcomed their first child in October 2019. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, visiting new places, and growing in her faith.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed today. The staff is great and Dr. Rios took great care of him. She personally called me later that evening to check on him and make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend!!

I cannot rave about these wonderful people enough. My son was seen there today and had two wisdom teeth cut out and had no anxiety about it whatsoever. They made him feel very at ease and with no pain afterwards. Thank you for a wonderful experience l cannot thank you enough!!!

I had my wisdom teeth taken out this morning and Dr. Rios did a great job with the procedure. She explained everything perfectly and made me feel at ease. She also personally called me afterwards to check in and see how I was doing! The staff and Dr. Rios made this an easy visit.

I had my wisdom teeth removed a year ago at Pinnacle. They did a great job! Dr. Martinez explained the procedure and answered my questions. Then Dr. Rios performed a great surgery. The pain was so minimal, I only took one dose of the pain medication, then managed the rest of recovery with Ibuprofen. I would highly recommend this team!

I was recommended Pinnacle from another dentist in town due to my wisdom teeth being so impacted. After coming in, the staff treated me with the upmost respect and professionalism. I had pretty big anxiety going into the procedure but Dr. Parekh and his staff made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and it was over before I knew it! He even called later that evening to check on me and answer any questions post-op. I would definitely recommend!

Had a very nice experience with the physician. Nice office, speedy procedure yet done the right way. The one thing to me that separates them from any other dental surgeon I've ever met, the dr called me after hours to check on me to make sure I was doing ok. That goes miles as far as I'm concerned. Definitely recommend to anyone

I give 5 stars to Pinnacle Oral Surgery in Sulfur SpringsTexas. My blood pressure was pretty high when I sat down in the chair to have a tooth extracted. But Dr Rios made me feel so comfortable, talking to me the whole time telling me what she was doing. My blood pressure actually went back to normal as she was cutting out my tooth. Dr Rios called me later that day to check on me, not many doctors do that anymore. Dr Rois and her staff were great, excellent, caring and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Thank you Dr Rios for your excellent work.

I wouldn't go anywhere else! This group is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Martinez removed my wisdom teeth a year and a half ago, and my daughter had hers out yesterday. She has minimal swelling, no bruising and is barely taking pain meds. She loved her surgeon--Dr. Rios, who called to check on her last night. I've been nothing but pleased with our experience.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out by Dr. Parekh. He did a fantastic job of explaining the procedure, preparing us for surgery, performing the procedure, and post op. He called to check on us, checked to see if we had questions multiple times. They were easy to work with, quick to see us, and thorough with their processes.

Pinnacle Oral Surgery Specialists in Sulphur Springs is an excellent facility. My dad is 89 years old and needed four broken teeth extracted. His regular dentist told him that it was going to be very difficult procedure and that he would endure a lot of pain during and after the the teeth were pulled. I called Pinnacle to see what they could do to help him be more comfortable and have less pain. Dr. Rios covered all the bases and had him get clearance from his doctor for IV sedation. She performed the procedure very quickly and he did great! He had no discomfort during the procedure and never needed to take anything for pain. He healed very quickly. Dr. Rios called to check on him the evening of the procedure. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and has a great bedside manner. The office staff is wonderful to work with as well. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with our experience with Pinnacle Oral Surgery. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

Dr.Rios was AMAZING!! She made me feel so comfortable getting a wisdom tooth out. She called me later in the day to check on me and told me to call her if i needed her for anything!
