We are an endodontic office whose main goal is to provide top quality endodontic treatment outcomes while also treating our patients to a professional, comfortable and stress-free endodontic experience. Dr. Cameron Howard is originally from Marietta, GA. He attended Furman University (Greenville, SC) on a full scholarship, and graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Continuing his studies, Dr. Howard earned his D.M.D. at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY) and graduated with High Distinction as Class President.
For his endodontic training, Dr. Howard attended Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, FL) where he earned his Certificate in Endodontics and his Masters of Science in Dentistry. While in residency, Dr. Howard completed a surgical externship at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain). Dr. Howard has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including The Journal of Endodontics.
Dr. Howard is very active within the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), having served as a Trustee on the AAE Foundation Board, a past Chairman of the Resident and New Practitioners Committee and a member of the Regenerative Endodontics Committee. Dr. Howard currently serves as a member of the AAE Annual Session Planning Committee and is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the Hinman Dental Society. He earned his Board Certification in Endodontics in 2013. He has performed over 28,000 root canals treatments in his clinical career.
Dr. Camba was born and raised in Augusta, GA.He attended college at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with High Honor.Following college, he attended dental school at the Dental College of Georgia (formerly MCG/GRU) where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.He was honored to graduate withthe American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award in Endodontics and the American Equilibration Society Outstanding Senior Award.Following dental school, Dr. Camba completed a general practice residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle where he received advanced training with medically complex patients, surgical procedures, sedations, and hospital dentistry.He then returned to the Dental College of Georgia for hisspecialty training in Endodontics where he served as chief resident and was awarded the Dr. Connie L. Drisko Dental Resident Professionalism Award.He performed research on calcium hydroxide and irrigation which has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at the AAE annual meeting.His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Hinman Dental Society.Dr. Camba is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics having earned his board certification in 2021.In his free time, Dr. Camba enjoys soccer, golf, exercising,concerts, traveling, dining, cheering on his Atlanta sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
Melissa is originally from northern Ohio, but has lived in the Cumming area for the past 12 years. She entered the dental field as a dental assistant and graduated at the top of her class. She had such an impact on the dentist and his instructors that she was asked to return to teach as an instructor. She enjoys giving back to the program that gave her so much knowledge into helping dental patients. Endodontics is her favorite specialty and has assisted in hundreds of root canals and retreatments.
Melissa has volunteered her time with Dentistry from the Heart that gives free dental care to those in need. Along with participating in the PTA, she also coaches Girls on the Run and is a kickboxing instructor. In addition to spending time with her family, Melissa can be found reading a good book or at the lake with friends.
Robin relocated from Massachusetts to the Johns Creek area in 2002. She is a graduate of the Gwinnett Technical College Dental Assisting Program. Her previous experience is in general dentistry. She is very excited to be a part of the Pinnacle team and has a strong desire to learn the specialized field of endodontics.
Tawanna graduated from Concorde Career Institute with a degree in Dental Assisting in 2012. She worked in the field of Endodontics in Tampa, FL before moving to Georgia and brings a wealth of knowledge and care to Pinnacle Endodontics. She understands the patients concerns when they hear the word root canal. Her desire is to make the patients feel valued and comfortable from the moment they enter the front door. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her 3 daughters and is happy to be joining the Pinnacle family.
Sheila is a native of Long Island New York and she moved to Georgia in 2015. She brings her 23 years of Endodontic knowledge and experience to the Pinnacle Team. Her desire is to treat all patients with Kindness and Respect so they may have the best possible experience causing them to leave with smiling faces. Yes, even after a Root Canal. She loves being with her husband and two daughters and going on long walks with their new puppy.
Garrett is from Redding, California and came to North Georgia in 2016. He finds it fulfilling to foster strong relationships with his patients and to see them leave happier and healthier than when they arrived at Pinnacle. He has a dental assisting degree from Fortis College in Orange Park, Florida. He worked in General Dentistry and in a dental laboratory before coming to Pinnacle. He brings great dental knowledge and experience to our Pinnacle Team. When not at work, Garrett likes to spend time with his wife and daughter, exercise and ride motorcycles.
Shante was born and raised in Monterey, CA and relocated to Northern Georgia in 2014. She brings 11 years of experience in both Endodontics and Oral Surgery to the Pinnacle Family. Shante enjoys patient interaction and helping to create a pleasant experience for our patients. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
Jade is originally from Phoenix Arizona. She recently moved to the Cumming area at the end of 2019. She graduated from the Phoenix College Dental Assisting program and received her Associates in Applied Science Dental Assisting. In AZ she volunteered at AZMom which is a nonprofit organization that gives the less fortunate a chance to have their dental work done at no charge. Her favorite thing about this field is watching the patients leave with a smile on their face because theyve had such a great experience. Outside of work, she likes taking her dog Sosa on walks and is enjoying experiencing this new state she calls home.
Erin is a native of North Georgia. She attended the Dental Assistant School of Atlanta in 2019 and quickly found an interest in the specialty of Endodontics. She is very excited to be part of the Pinnacle team! Erin is dedicated to helping to ensure that each patients experience is a positive one and that they leave with a smile on their face. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her son, photography, gardening and yoga.
Calee is originally from Tucson, Arizona and relocated to North Georgia in 2021. She graduated from the university of Arizona with a Bachelors of Science in Physiology in 2018. Calee is new to the Endodontics field and is excited to be a part of the Pinnacle team. One of her favorite aspects of working in the field is interacting with patients and working with them to get their needs met. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, hiking, going to concerts, volunteering at animal rehabs/rescues, and traveling.
Karina is originally from Puerto Rico but relocated to Georgia 3 years ago. Karina entered the healthcare field as a medical assistant, but an awesome opportunity into the dental field, made her take another path. Pinnacle has been a blessing for her professional and personal growth. Karina loves music, dancing and spending time with her husband and their twin daughters.

Thank you, Dr. Howard, Jarrett, and Ladies at the front desk for the most wonderful experience getting a root canal procedure! I could not have imagined this event to be so stressless. Dr. Howard is my endodontist from now on. Thank all of you at Pinnacle Endodontics for such friendly professionalism. This is by far the worst Endodontics I ever been to. Worst front office staff (Jennifer). They care more about money than people well being. I was sick and called in more than a day in advance to cancel/reschedule my appointment but was told I have to pay $150. Now I am planning on going to my appointment with flu and coughing. would never go back to this practice.

The best experience I have ever had getting a root canal sounds scary and I have horrible dental anxiety but from the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable! Amazing work! Dr. Howard was incredible!

I went not knowing if I would need surgery or not. I was nervous but trying to be prepared for whatever outcome. I met with Dr Howard and was immediately impressed! He is intelligent, experienced, truthful, understanding & witty !!! I did not need surgery ( Thank God) BUT upon having the consultation & meeting with him, I felt I was ready for anything ! I highly recommend Pinnacle Endodontics, aside from the beautiful state of the art office, the amazing energetic team you meet before you even meet the Dr, the Dr himself is knowledgeable, a joy & a comfort! The world needs more Drs like him for sure!!! Way To Go!!!

Dr. Howard used the latest state-of-the-art equipment to determine my abscessed original root canal wasn't cracked and only needed repair. He took time to explain the procedure and gave me the attention and care as though I was family. Dr. Howard and his entire staff were friendly, assuring and compassionate. My Pinnacle experience was a five-star blessing worth the drive from Alabama. HIGHLY recommended!

This office squeezed me in last minute on a Friday afternoon. Life savers. The angels at the front desk Miss Luci and Miss Amber were so wonderful! They had everything well organized and it was so smooth. Miss Sabrina came in to go over my financials. Made everything very clear and answered all my questions. Miss Morgan and Mr. Garrett were the assistants and they were so funny, which made the time pass. Dr.Howard was amazing. The root canal was fast, painless and the communication he had before during and after was spot on. He's very knowledgeable and personable. Very comforting staff, immaculate office... it was beautiful and clean. Every person I came in contact with was genuinely happy to work there. Hopefully I won't need another root canal. But if I do. This is the ONLY place I'm going. And strongly recommend it

These people are the best in what they do, and they do it fast! If you need a root canal this should be your go to place. Dr. Howard was very honest about the prognosis during the consultation and he was able to get the best outcome during treatment. This location seems to be a new facility and they have advanced technology. Garret was excellent during treatment assisting Dr. Howard and also clarified any further questions at the end of my appointment. Highly recommended!

I visited Pinnacle Endo for 2 Root Canals earlier this month. 1st for a consolation (due to the state of my back molar) and then had the 2 scheduled back to back (2 days) the following week. I really connected and had a great experience with every person in the office from the Assistant one the first visit/consol to the 2nd molar Root Canal, everyone was so friendly (coming from someone who was so nervous about going to a dentist since I have moved to ATL & a manager in the service industry). Dr. Howard had great "bedside manner" & customer service, he found a way to personally connect with me using restaurant stories & Garrett (one of their assistants) helped keep the conversation going throughout the procedure I didn't even realize how much time had passed before it was all done. It HUGELY helped make me feel comfortable where I felt that I couldn't be. Hopefully I'll never need another Root Canal but if I do, I know where I'll go!

We had an emergency about 10 days ago. My son was in a lot of pain and had not slept for two nights. Our dentist recommended Pinnacle Endodontics and even though they were fully booked, the team worked together and Dr Howard was able to see my son and ease him of the pain. Dr Howard also answered our call after hour. The whole team was very professional.

Best experience ever in a wonderful setting with advanced dental technology! Excellent time management, polite and nice staff and efficient DA. Above all, Dr. Howard was incredibly thorough and very professional providing the best and timely care. Also, he took time to build a report and made sure of the comfort and ease during the procedure. Upper molar RCT in less than 30 mins....definitely a great feeling Thank you!

I had a root canal done yesterday. I was beyond nervous about having this procedure and could barely sleep the night before. I told doctor Howard and Sydney how nervous I was and they assured me they would take good care of me and they sure did! Dr Howard is by far the nicest Dentist I've ever been to, I could tell he's the nicest person by the way he interacted with Sydney. I mean if that is how he interacts with his staff, you know you're in good hands. Thank you both for making this a great experience.

Everything about our experience was top notch. My 16 yr old daughter needed a root canal and was very anxious. The procedure was quick and painless for her. Dr. Howard made sure that she was comfortable the entire time and he explained the process so she felt more at ease. Highly recommend!

OMG! I had to have a root canal July 21 and it was most definitely not expected. I was referred here by my dentist and was able to get a fairly fast appointment. Once I walked in I was greeted by the staff and they were all so helpful. Told me where the bathroom was and thrust there were drinks available up front. I only waited about 10 minutes before I got called back. The assistant was super nice as well as the person who came in to collect payment. My dr was Dr. JOHN FERNANDO CAMBA, super nice guy, he made sure everything went soothe and when I say once I left I had zero pain even after the numbing wore off. I was so worried about a root Canada watching YouTube videos and it didn't even hurt. Now I did cry a little but I that was because of the noise. Lol While he was treating my root canal l, he ask how I felt and made sure to explain everything alone the way. Once complete he went over a few action items. When I left the office I was very impressed how they treated their patients. Thank you all so much ! I most definitely feel way better and will recommend this office and stuff to anyone looking

Clear communication and amusing/entertaining chair side banter. No pain and directly addressed my issues. However, I had to call three times (and three different people) to get an actual appointment which is frustrating when you are suffering.

Further to another posting, the payment policies resemble strong arm tactics. Even as I understand signing financial responsibility prior to expensive testing (tho I did not see the $75 charge and will likely regret not reading it more thoroughly), the office absolutely refused to provide a copy of the treatment plan and cost unless I signed committing to payment for work not even scheduled yet, going so far as to turn the paper over so I could neither see nor take a copy of it. I will seek a second opinion for the treatment plan.
