Dr. Greg Renyer is a native Oregonian and grew up in the Hillsboro/Forest Grove area. After high school, he became a Beaver and attended Oregon State University, majoring in General Sciences and pre-dental studies. In 1991, he began attending OHSU dental school and received his degree in 1995. Greg and his wife, Jennifer, love the Willamette Valley so they decided to put down roots right here in Albany. After three years of practice together, he and Dr. Kutsch became business partners in 1999.

His passion within dentistry is advanced restorative work, so he decided to get his post-doctoral dental training through theKois Center. In 1999, he started attending courses and loved the program so much that he became a Mentor Dentist for the Center in 2003. As a Mentor, he enjoys helping pass on his knowledge of treating more complex cases to other dentists that attend the Kois curriculum. Dr. Renyer has an exceedingly strong desire to keep up with the best dental training available and attends many dental continuing education courses throughout the year. He truly loves his career and is excited by all aspects of dentistry, from the most complex restorative cases to the simplest of procedures. Giving back to the community is also one of Dr. Renyers main interests and he enjoys volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Albanys dental clinic.

In his free time, Dr. Renyer enjoys gardening, playing his guitar in a local rock band, traveling, and spending time with his family. The Renyer family enjoys camping, spending time at the Oregon coast, and exploring the local lakes during the summer.

Dr. Renyers wife Jennifer is actively involved in the practice, working in the financial department. She is also very active in the community, being a member of various community boards and chairing several activities.

His daughter Karissa attended West Albany High school and is now at OSU in the pre-dental program. She is also a member of the Beavers tennis team and Sigma Epsilon Sorority. His son Nick is a Freshman at OSU and is enrolled in the Business school with an emphasis in Finance.

Dr Cheryl Cooper grew up in Tucson, Arizona. At the time she finished high school there were no dental schools in Arizona. She was accepted into the combined 6 year BA/DDS program at University of Missouri/Kansas City. Upon graduation, she and her husband moved to Omaha for continued dental education where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During this time, her husband , Sean, attended his specialty program in Pediatric dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

The Coopers often joke that they spun the globe to pick where they were going to live, but they truly fell in love with the Oregon beauty and have made Salem their home for the last 23 years raising two sons.Dr. Cooper enjoys many activities outside of dentistry. She has participated on a Masters swim team for the last 10 years and recently completed her first half marathon, in Hawaii! What a beautiful run! Over the years she had relished the time spent with her family watching her boys participate in scouting,lacross, swimming and racquetball.

Dr. Cooper is so excited to be back working with the Pinnacle Dental team. She is thrilled to renew her relationship with so many long time Pinnacle Dental patients and looks forward to meeting new people, helping them make informed decisions to improve their dental health and celebrating with them when they achieve that goal.She constantly strives to continue her education to be able to bring new ideas and techniques back to her patients for their benefit.
