Dr. Scott W. Petersen has provided the highest standard of dental care to patients for over 16 years. Upon completion of a two-year LDS mission to Rome, Italy, he graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA with certified honors in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics in 2005. He additionally received extensive training and certification in orthodontics, providing comprehensive treatment for youth and adults for over thirteen years. Dr. Petersen received FASTBRACES Master Provider status (general dentist with a comparable training level to an orthodontist) and was honored to be additionally recognized as FASTBRACES Senior Master Provider by Dr. Anthony Viazis, FASTBRACES Inventor and Founder, for his extensive expertise.
Dr. Scott is known for his conscientious patient focus and integrity in diagnosis and delivery of excellent quality dentistry. On a personal level, Dr. Scott loves spending quality time with his wife, Eve, and their four beautiful children. He enjoys serving in his church and community, cooking Italian food, good music and outdoor activities including sports, hunting, fishing and travel.
Dr. Scotts wife, Eve, graduated in the top 15% of her class from Brigham Young University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in family science, her certification as a family life educator and an induction into the Golden Key National Honor Society in 1999. In 2018, Eve graduated with a masters degree in health management from Western Governors University, receiving faculty-recognized excellence awards in Leadership & Management and Service Line Development as well as MBA HM Capstone special recognition.
Eve enjoys working together with her husband and children and the team at Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry to achieve their practice standard of optimal oral healthcare for each patient, provided in a friendly and caring environment.
Upon completion of an LDS mission to Thailand, he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Shakespear is thrilled to accept new patients in both Nephi & Fillmore.
Dr. Shakespear and his wife, Rebekah, have two sons, Reagan and Beckham. He and his beautiful family enjoy travel, cooking ethnic foods, the arts and music as well as adventures in the great outdoors.
Annette has been an integral part of Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry for over 30 years, overseeing all aspects of our front office. She is the first friendly face you will meet and shares the office ideal of caring about not just [patients] dental needs but their lives in general. We have fun and love to come to work. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in dental insurance and coordinating treatment for our patients. Annette graduated from the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology and received her associate degree from Southern Utah University.
Charlotte has been part of our practice as a highly trained cosmetic and restorative dental assistant for over 28 years. She graduated with her registered dental assistant degree from the American Institute of Medical and Dental Technology. Charlotte holds her knowledge and skills to an exceptional standard with continuous education and training and is an invaluable asset to our team. Charlotte absolutely loves the patients and appreciates the friendship of her co-workers in and outside the office.
Gabriella is an eighth grader at Juab Junior High School. She has worked alongside family members cleaning and maintaining the dental office and grounds for over two years. She is efficient and thorough in her responsibilities and is also receiving training as a dental assistant, which she plans to utilize for employment to provide funding for her college education.
Heidi graduated from Bridgerland Technical College in Logan, Utah, with her dental assisting certification. She has over five years of dental assisting and front office experience and is a phenomenal asset to our team. Heidi possesses a kind, caring and professional disposition and excels in welcoming and assisting patients with any questions or concerns they have. She enjoys working with the great people at our practice and helping all team members be successful with both their professional and home lives.
Jessica is currently attending Brigham Young University and plans to pursue a bachelors degree in commercial music. She has worked at our practice for over six years cleaning the office building and maintaining the grounds as well as receiving excellent training as a dental assistant. Jessica is our go-to-girl when we need a fill-in dental assistant and provides quality care for our patients.
Joseph is a sophomore at Juab High School and has been a part-time custodian and groundskeeper at the dental clinic for over four years. He recently turned 16 and received his drivers license, and he is grateful for the gas and dating money. Joseph knows the value of a clean and well-kept professional space. He takes care to fulfill his responsibilities so that patients receive dental services in an attractive, clean and orderly environment. He is also receiving dental assistant training and plans to pursue a career in the medical field.
Kim attended Snow College and Weber State University consecutively, earning her registered dental hygiene degree in 2004. Kim has extensive knowledge in clinical periodontal and general dental hygiene, providing high-quality preventive and educational services and treatment with exceptional efficiency and professionalism. Kim considers the best part of her employment the great people she works with and the great atmosphere at Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry.
Leesa received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Utah Valley University in 2000 and was awarded the Golden Scaler Award for her graduating class. Additionally, Leesa currently holds a clinical instructor position at Utah Valley University Department of Dental Hygiene. She has been a registered dental hygienist in our office for over 15 years and consistently receives positive patient feedback regarding her skill of putting patients at ease and her gentle hand. Leesa enjoys the fun atmosphere and cohesiveness that our dentist and team share at Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry.
Marie earned her dental hygienist degree from Montana State University of Great Falls, Montana, in 2008 and has provided excellent hygiene services to patients for over 13 years. Marie is genuinely passionate about high-quality, thorough and compassionate care. She has extensive knowledge in clinical periodontal and general dental hygiene and provides outstanding preventive and educational services to patients with gentle proficiency and professionalism.
Sue Ann attended Snow College and then Weber State University, obtaining her registered dental hygiene degree, and has been a valuable member of our dental team for over six years. Sue Ann consistently provides exceptional dental hygiene services to youth and adults. To help patients achieve optimal oral health and the best smiles possible, Sue Ann attends continuing education trainings and courses, staying current with the latest research, information and products. She loves working with our dentist, co-workers and patients.
Rorie is a native of Juab County, graduating from JHS in 2000. She started working in the dental service industry after graduation from Careers Unlimited Dental Assisting School in 2001. She provides quality, compassionate care for our patients and is an exceptional dental assistant with extensive experience in orthodontics. She enjoys working with the great people at Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry and our patients and team love her sense of humor and friendly smile.
Rorie is married to Health Butler, who owns a very successful plumbing business. They have a son who serves the community of West Jordan as a police officer and second son who is a 6th grader. After work hours, Rorie loves spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball & going to the gym.
Joseph is a Junior at Juab High School and has been a part-time custodian and groundskeeper at the dental practice for over 6 years. Joseph knows the value of a organized and well-kept professional space. He takes care to fulfill his responsibilities so that patients receive dental services in an attractive, clean and orderly environment. As a current intern at Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry, Joseph is shadowing, receiving dental assistant training & related business experience. Upon graduation from high school, he plans follow in the footsteps of his dad and pursue a career in the dental field.
Gabriella is a Freshman at Juab High School. She has worked along-side family members cleaning and maintaining the dental office and grounds for over four years. She is efficient and thorough in her responsibilities and is also receiving training as a dental assistant, which she plans to utilize for employment to provide funding for her college education. Gabriella is very musical, playing the piano and singing. She loves spending time with her family & best friends and playing the great game of soccer.
Taya graduated with honors receiving her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in April of 2022. She trained with Pinnacle Advanced Dentistry prior to graduation and brings an energetic & knowlegeable viewpoint as well as a fun, positive attitude. Taya cant wait to continue her career and grow relationships with her patients and is so glad she can already call [her] coworkers [her] second family. May 5th is a monumental day for Tayashe will be marrying her fiance, Nic Booth, and the Juab County native couple plan to continue living in Nephi.
