We are conveniently located on the corner of Route 72, Route 47 and Route 20 in the Starks Crossing shopping plaza.
All of our x-rays taken in the office are completely digital, and expose you to 90% less radiation than regular film x-rays. Digital x-ray sensors act Just like a snap and shoot digital camera, your x-rays are available almost instantaneously. With digital x-rays, we are able to catch early cavities, signs of dental nerve infection, cysts, etc. Our Patient education TV monitors will show all of your x-rays so your Pingree Grove dentist will be able to discuss your oral health and educate you on recommended treatment options.
With our intraoral camera, your Pingree Grove dentist will be able to obtain necessary images of questionable teeth and areas within your mouth and you will be able to see what we see. All of our patients initially will go through a comprehensive and thorough examination that will involve taking necessary pictures of failing large restorations, cavities, abnormal tissue appearance and other areas of your mouth. This will help your dentist monitor and maintain the overall health of your mouth. It will also reduce the need for frequent x-rays. Our philosophy at Pingree Smile Center is to avoid unnecessary radiation for all of our patients.
One of the latest advances in dentistry is the soft tissue laser. Soft Tissue Laser uses laser energy to perform a variety of soft tissue dental procedures. Laser technology allows us to perform variety of soft tissue procedures with better precision, no use of scalpels or blades, causes less discomfort, decreased pain, less bleeding and faster healing times. Numerous research studies have shown that laser dentistry can be far less traumatic than other instruments, especially for anxious patients. Dr. Jignesh Patel earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from one of the most renowned dental school in India, in 2007. He completed his Masters in Medical Biology (M.S.) from Long Island University, Brookville, NY in 2009. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, in 2014. He moved to Northwest Suburbs after graduation with his wife. He worked at Dental offices in Chicago and Glendale heights IL for last 3 years.
Dr. Patel believes in evidence-based dentistry and continues education to stay updated with modern technologies in Dentistry. He is gentle, caring and passionate to treat patients. He believes in treating overall wellness of patient rather than just focusing on teeth. Dr. Patel is committed to give quality care to our patients and looking forward to treat patients and their family at Pingree Smile Center.

I have to say I am happy to have found this dental office. Not only did I have an excellent experience as a new customer myself, but Dr. Patel & his staff also gave my 4 & 5 year old children the BEST first time dental experience possible. Extremely kid friendly dental office & I have to say Brittany in particular was amazing. Friendly & knowledgeable staff! I look forward to making this my long term dentistry.

Office was clean but the hygienist was openly rude to my children and I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I won't be returning.

I just had 3 extractions done there. Dr. Patel and his team are awesome. I've had bad experiences with rude dentists before. Not the case here. I was so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you so much! I can't believe i am saying this, but i can't wait to go back and get more work done!

I was highly impressed with the professional & efficient service I received here, both for my mom and myself. My mother was suffering with pain in her jaws due to the dentures she had from another clinic. After a brief exam, Dr. Patel suggested that her dentures needed a minor fix so that was done, to my surprise, in only few minutes while we were at the clinic. No waiting or follow up visit was required. Its been few days & my mom is now actually able to eat very well with no pain or denture issues! While we were at the clinic, I also requested Dr. Patel if he could do a quick examination for my jaws to see if I could get a custom mouth-guard made there (I needed one for martial arts). They actually make really good sports mouthguards (wow!) and Dr. Patel suggested to get my dental impressions done during the same time. I was done in < 10 min! Dr. Patel explained to me that most of the ready-made mouthguards wouldn't work for me due to the abnormal structure of my jaws. He was spot on since I have always had trouble with ready-made mouthguards before! The custom mouthguard I got through this clinic did the trick for me & I use it regularly during my karate training! Thank you very much to Dr. Patel & his staff who were extremely courteous - both my mom & I are extremely satisfied & we are giving up our downtown clinic (especially due to long wait times, lengthy paperwork & redundant follow up appointments with frustrating reminders) - pingree smile center is our permanent clinic going forward & I highly recommend to anyone looking for a smooth & straightforward dental experience.

I have never felt so welcome in a Dentist office before, until yesterday. Friendly staff, clean and nice environment! I went in due to my front tooth being chipped and Dr. Patel did a filling PERFECTLY! My front tooth looks better than ever and I have my confidence back! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Dr Patel you lefty opener you made us smile and pumped me with lot of confidence ever since I signed up with your office. I'm not ashamed to smile in public anymore, your office staff is just pleasant and keeps environment hygienic which made me very happy too

My family and I had went here a few times and loved it, they were especially good with our children. Unfortunately, our insurance changed and they do not take our current insurance. Hopefully something will change so we can go back there again. Great staff and nice and convenient location.
