Dr. Bryan C. Allgeier is originally from Sugar Land, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Allgeier completed his dental training at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Following dental school, he continued his education with a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple, Texas. He completed his endodontic residency at Saint Louis University, where he received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Masters of Science. Dr. Bryan Allgeier is a Board-Eligible Endodontist of the American Board of Endodontics.
It was through his wife Kaitlyn, who was raised in Longview, that he realized his love for East Texas and desire to raise a family in this wonderful area. Outside of the office, Dr. Allgeier is an active leader in Bible Study Fellowship and enjoys serving at his church. He also enjoys hunting and spending time outdoors. However, his favorite thing to do apart from root canals is to spend time with his 3 children, Hattie, Millie, and Hunt.
Sandra has been a dental assistant for over 8 years. She has moved around the United States since she was 18 but has enjoyed settling in East Texas. When she is not assisting Dr. Allgeier with root canals, she likes to travel and take family trips, whether it be for just a short weekend trip, spontaneous day trip, or full relaxing vacation. Sandra loves the unforgettable little moments with her three children and tries to make as many happy memories with them as possible.

Dr. Allgeier completed two root canals on my husband Gary who said he had no discomfort during either procedure and only the normal, mild discomfort for a day or two after. He said Dr. Allgeier was great and the best part was that the constant pain he was in before both root canals was eliminated! After Gary's positive experience with his procedure, when I started experiencing sharp pain when I drank or ate anything cold which then led to a constant toothache in one of my back molars, I immediately called Peggy at Dr. Allegier's office and made an appointment. Peggy is so kind and understanding and she really takes time to explain things as well. I am a very "anxious" dental patient and in the past have needed to be totally sedated to have dental work done. Dr. Allgeier is very professional and patient and he said he felt he could do the procedure using an oral medication that would help me relax, but not put me to sleep. The day of my procedure I took the medication and I am happy to report that there was no pain, or anxiety, during the procedure. Plus, the cold sensitivity and pain is now gone! All the staff at Piney Woods Endodontics was caring and professional and we would use Dr. Allgeier again if we are in need of future endodontics. Gary & Connie Smith

First time to go to an Endodontist and really impressed. I was referred to Dr Allgeier by my dentist for second opinion of root canal procedure. The entire staff was very welcoming and concerned with proper diagnosis. After xrays and exam from Dr Allgeier it was determined for me to wait on having a root canal performed at this time. He really wants to preserve the teeth God placed in our mouths as much as possible. If root canal or any other type of dental special procedure is needed for myself or my family I will definitely be making an appointment with them. Thanks again, Ed

I needed my very first root canal and I was absolutely terrified. I was referred to Dr. Allgeier by my dentist. Dr. Allgeier was so amazing. I felt zero pain during the procedure and when the procedure was finished I was pain free. This team was awesome they went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and eased my anxiety. Very nice, polite and professional team.
