Cathy has been in dentistry for nearly 18 years, a very friendly, outgoing person whom patients and staff know is always willing to help. She is extremely passionate about her job and providing excellent care to patients in need! She always works on finding the proper financing solutions that is for the need of our patients. She understands the patients concerns and works with their schedule to future proof their dental health, loves helping people in seeing the real effects in achieving a happier and healthy smile. Dr. Kiani, a graduate from National Autonomous University in Honduras where he received his first general dentist degree (DDS) in 1998. Soon after he completed his residency at the prestigious Honduras Air Force Hospital focusing on cosmetic dentistry and surgery.
Then he migrated to the United States and continued working in the field of dentistry for numerous years as a Hygienist while attending the very distinguished Nova Southeastern University. In 2014 for the second time graduated and obtained a DMD degree, making him very proud of his accomplishments; anything is possible!
Dr. Kiani is always pursuing higher education and training to provide his patients with the highest quality of dentistry. He is very compassionate, gentle and understanding to patients needs and is providing a comprehensive excellent quality of care. Dr. Kianis practice philosophy is to always strive for perfection. He is only satisfied when he achieves excellence and believes it is essential to really listen to the patient and understand the needs and desires. His multiple language skills in English, Spanish, and Farsi facilitates his day to day in patient communication.
He performs procedures such as general, implant and cosmetic dentistry. Through careful study of each patients individual situation, Dr. Kiani can develop a plan that can help to address the patients unique needs. He aims to establish strong long-term relationship with all of his patients.
Dr. Kiani completes over forty hours continue education per year. He has an active dental license from Florida state and state of Texas. Dr. Kiani is a board certified dentist from North East Regional Board of dental Examiner (NERB). He loves spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies are running, soccer, and cooking.
Dr. Mark Cowan did his undergraduate studies at University of Miami and the University of Florida. Following those, he received his DDS Degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. He then served in the US Army in Korea and was decorated with the distinguished service award for his contribution in the Armys 1st multispecialty training program for In-country dentists. After completing his military service, he was the Chief resident at Reception Medical Center and supervised Florida 1st rotating internship at the University of Florida School of Dentistry.
He began private practice by establishing a multispecialty practice Diplomat Mall. In 1983 he founded the 1st Dental Specialty Center (of Hallandale). In 1985 he established and was CEO of the Dental Specialty Center of Sunrise followed by opening the Dental Specialty Centers in Pembroke Pines. He is the past president of the Society of Dental Specialties and is a member of the Academic of Cosmetic Dentistry, East Coast Dental Society and Florida Dental Society.
In 1994 he founded Silver Lakes multi-specialty practice which was purchased by Sage Dental Inc. in 2013. He remained as a practicing dentist until separating from Sage Dental and joining Dr. Kiani in 2020 at Pines True Smile.
In my spare time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, tanning at the beach and participating in outdoor activities. I also enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog and listing to hits from the 80s.

I highly recommend this Dentist!!! I have extram fear of dentists and haven't sent one since I moved here 8 years ago; he came highly recommend and I now see why! From the girls at the front desk to the Dentist & Dental assistants I never felt so relaxed in a dentist office in my 58 years of life. Nor have I ever seen a medical office so CLEAN! I plan on returning for All my dental needs! THANK YOU ALL!!!

Wow!! A few years ago my dentist of 20 years retired. Since then I have tried several different dentists and none of them met my expectations. Pines True Smile was recommended to me by a friend. The office is clean and all the staff is pleasant and professional. Dr. Kiani did an amazing job on a broken filling. I have found a new home!

the hygienist was good and professional the front desk receptionist not so much , tried to over bill the insurance for unnecessary procedures typical practice .Called to ask for copy of the teeth images they charge $45 but if they send them to another doctor there is no fee? absurd policy not customer service oriented for something they can easily email non the less i would not be returning .

I can only share having a great experience. I can feel and trust Dr. Kiani and staff for my dental treatment. I had a problem with one of my molars, had gone to a previous dentist and was misdiagnosed, had severe excruciating pain and immediately Dr. Kiani performed a root canal. Another tooth had a fracture and he did the extraction, placed bone and left it ready to place an implant. He has such a soft hand touch placing the anesthesia and can see how he excels on multi task work. I'm glad he could perform without having to be referred to a specialist. I feel so confident on his work. I highly recommend him and refer all my family to this place

I don't think I have ever been to a dentist that I felt so comfortable! It is clean, very organized and the staff is very gentle. I came here because I needed a root canal and my original dentist did not have a doctor to perform the procedure. Needless to say I will be making the permanent switch for myself and my son to be patients here. Wish I had found them sooner!

She answered all my questions including my medical insurance coverage. As I entered the office, I met the Doctors wife Mrs Johanna, medical assistants (Madeline, Vanessa) and Dr.Kamran Kiani.
