Dr. Jos F. Lzaro was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. He attended Temple University for his pre-dental studies and was admitted to dental school in three years prior to receiving his Bachelors on Science Degree. Dr. Lzaro earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree (DMD) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He received his Certificate of Postgraduate education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus and Honor Student in June of 1990.

When I was on the search for an oral surgeon that could get me in on a short notice to extract all four of my wisdom teeth, I came across Pinellas Oral Surgery. Reviews looked great, and they got me in much sooner than other places were able to. From the moment I stepped into the doors, to the time I was wheeled out, i've dealt with professional, friendly, and personable people who were empathetic to my concerns. Surgery was quick, painless, and recovery went smoothly as expected. I would definitely recommend Pinellas Oral Surgery and Implant Center to anyone seeking to have an oral procedure done. Thanks again to Dr. Lazaro for putting up with me, and getting me in and out in such a timely manner!

Dr Lazaro and staff were extremely nice and helped ease my fear of dry socket. Removed wisdom tooth with no pain or discomfort at very reasonable fee. Provided follow up visit at no extra cost. Highly recommend Dr Lazaro.

This is the most amazing dental experience I've ever had! I've had bad experiences in the past with other Oral Surgeons so I was nervous when I arrived for an extraction. The moment I met Dr. Lazaro I felt more at ease. The Doctor and all the staff helped me with any anxiety I was having. The procedure was painless and quick! I'd brought my AirPods but didn't need them as Dr. Lazaro even sang to me during the procedure!! Free concert?? After I was feeling very light headed and sick (probably from all the anxiety at first!!) but the entire team took great care of me and let me stay until I was comfortable! I would highly recommended Dr. Lazaro and his team!! Thank you for caring for your patients!

From the front office staff to the dental assistants and to Dr. Lazaro himself, kindness and efficiency was their moto. I've never had as good treatment--and quality workmanship--as I received Dr. Lazaro's office.

This review relates the experience of my wife, Junia Milvain. On 9/7/22 Dr. Lazaro extracted a molar from Junia's upper right quadrant. She was stunned at how PAINLESS the extraction itself was and the healing period has been equally uneventful. Dr. Lazaro's facility is spotless and the staff attitudes make one feel like you are with close family, an indication Pinellas Oral Surgery is a great place to work--an extension of Dr Lazaro's personal attitude . All-in-all a great experience!!

If you are in need of oral surgery, I HIGHLY suggest that you run (not just walk) to Pinellas Oral Surgery & Implant Center. My whole experience there was better than I ever could have hoped for before I even stepped in the door. I desperately needed to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and had been trying to do so for over a month with no luck whether it be my case being too complex, my insurance not being accepted, or local oral surgeons just never returning my calls. I originally wasn't going to consider going to Pinellas Oral Surgery & Implant Center because I live an hour away, but after seeing so many positive reviews, I had to give them a call. Within 5 minutes, the extremely empathetic receptionist had scheduled me for a combo consult/surgery only 2 weeks later. Then at my appointment, all of the front desk employees, assistants, and Dr. Lazaro were so helpful, calming, informative, and honest. As someone who despises having to get dental work done, I honestly didn't mind being there and did not find the surgery or recovery to be all that painful. They took amazing care of me and I will be sure to call them immediately if I ever need oral surgery again.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted and my mother will be getting a different oral surgery next week and we would both highly recommend this oral surgeon practice. All of the staff is amazing and super helpful and flexible. The Doctor himself is very friendly and reassuring and did an amazing job. Dr. L was fantastic. He explained everything to me. He was extremely thorough and very calming. The entire office is pleasant and run very efficiently. A pleasure in this day and age. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Lazaro and his team are wonderful. They did an amazing job and I felt as comfortable as could be. I feel that this went as well as it possibly could have for an extraction and bone graft. He made jokes and even sang softly during the procedure. It was so soothing to me. I used the Valium and local anesthesia. I felt so scared beforehand and leading up to the procedure, yet once I took the Valium, I felt very relaxed. Someone was in the room with me at all times. I highly recommend them and have told many friends about them already. Thank you so much everyone at the Pinellas Oral Surgery and Implant Center.

Dr.Lazaro was the best possible oral surgeon for my wisdom tooth surgery. He was kind, easygoing, and very professional during my appointment. He answered all my questions and was easily reachable when I called for additional advice. Referred here by the VA to have a tooth extracted. Dr. Lazaro is an excellent dentist. Had minimal the day of and no pain the day after. Would highly recommend!
