Our mission at Pineland Dental is to provide high quality dentistry by fostering a friendly, warm and caring environment. Our practice was established in 1973 by Dr. James F. McClary, Sr. His son, Dr. James F. McClary, Jr., has over 20 years of dental experience. After successfully running his own practice, Dr. Reed Williamson joined forces with Dr. McClary at Pineland Dental in 2019. Both offer preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry using the most advanced digital technology. We welcome both adults and children and accept most dental insurances.

Dr. McClary, Jr. is a local native to Summerville. He moved here in 1973 after his dad retired from the Army. He graduated from Summerville High School and went on to graduate from Presbyterian College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina for his dental studies.

Dr. McClary, Jr. is a warm, caring dentist. He is proficient, professional and widely experienced in all aspects of dentistry. He has the ease and comfortable chair-side manner that keeps even the youngest of patients laughing in the chair.

Dr. Reed Williamson was born and raised in Florence, SC. He graduated from Clemson University and continued on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Williamson enjoys giving back to the community and those in need. He has volunteered at several free dental clinics in the Charleston area and traveled to Panama and Costa Rica to provide dental care in underserved areas. Reed enjoys getting to know all of his patients and strives to treat every patient like his own family. He takes pride in providing a high-quality, comfortable patient experience to everyone who walks through the door.

Reed lives in the area with his wife Alexa who is also a dentist, and their two rescued dogs, Riggs and Sammie. They are die-hard Clemson fans and love traveling to every home football game to cheer on the Tigers. In their spare time, Reed and Alexa will not be found far from the water and enjoy boating with family and friends.

When Cheryl is not making our patients smiles beautiful, she enjoys hiking, gardening, napping on her hammock and porch sitting. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1998. She practiced in Georgia for seven years before moving to South Carolina. We are so thankful that Cheryl is part of our work family. We appreciate all she does and the commitment, love, and service she provides to our patients.

Kendra is our amazing dental assistant. She will be the face that greets you before you see Dr. McClary. She has been with our office since 2009. Her contagious smile and bubbly personality will instantly put you at ease. Kendra was born and raised in South Carolina and is a native of Summerville. She graduated from Summerville High School and attended Trident Technical College.

She was an athlete growing up and played softball and basketball and her only daughter has followed in her footsteps. During her free time, you will see her at her daughters games, the beach, rescuing animals or with her family. She is a bright light and we are so thankful she is part of our team!

Tracy is one of our wonderful dental hygienists and has been with our practice since 2013. She has been a hygienist since 2001 and received her education here in the lowcountry at Trident Technical College. Tracy and her husband, Brad, are high school sweethearts and natives of Kentucky, but have lived in Charleston since the Navy brought them here in 1997. They have one daughter, Lauren, who also resides in Charleston.

The Stewart family enjoys being avid Kentucky Wildcat fans, boating, hanging out with family and their two silly English bulldogs. Tracy will ease any patients anxiety with her calm and caring demeanor. She is very compassionate and takes the time to get to know her patients who eventually become like family.

Krisy has lived in the area for over 20 years after she relocated here due to the Air Force. She has 2 grown sons, that also live here locally. She has a grandson who is her pride and joy and is anxiously awaiting another grandchild this May. During her free time, she enjoys time with her grandson and family. She also enjoys shopping, kayaking, camping, boating and riding their Harley.

Robin has been a dental hygienist since 1997. She received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Trident Technical College, and her Bachelor of Science degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology. She is originally from Massachusetts, and lived in Norfolk, VA and Great Lakes, IL before moving to Summerville in 1986.

She has a daughter, son-in-law, and grandson who live here in Summerville, and a son who is in the Navy stationed in Washington. Robin loves to spend a lot of time with her grandson, and especially loves their Fun Fridays together!

Linda Bagwell serves as the Associate Office Manager and scheduling coordinator in our group. She has worked in the dental field for 34+ years, and will be the first smiling face you see when you walk in the door.

Growing up right here in Summerville, she graduated from Summerville High School in 1979. She then attended and graduated from Baptist College (now Charleston Southern) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

She has been married for 37 years to her husband, Howie and has 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren (better known to them as Gigi). Linda also lovingly serves in the childrens ministry at her church. During her free time, you will find her at the beach, riding her bike, working in the yard, and most of all, spending as much time as she can with her grandchildren. She is an avid Clemson fan and loves watching Clemson football games and pulling for the Tigers.

Linda Azevedo currently serves as our practice manager. She is a South Carolina native and cant imagine calling anywhere else home. She grew up in Summerville, attended many of the local schools, and is an alumna of Summerville High School. Linda has been married to her husband, Dustin, since April 2000. They have two children, so you will most likely see her on a pool deck or grocery store, as her children are competitive swimmers.

Linda brings a wealth of dental knowledge and management skills to the table with an Associate Health Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Trident Technical College, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Bridgeport. She has 15 years of clinical experience and continues to keep her license active. She has worked at Trident Technical College as an adjunct dental hygiene instructor which has given her a true sense of leadership skills. Her clinical knowledge and leadership skills are a vital part of her success as our practice manager.
