Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Well, let me start by saying I'm in a wheelchair, and after being treated poorly and feeling discriminated against, I decided to come to Pinecrest dentistry, Dr. Andre Medina an amazing cosmetic dentist replaced four front teeth with crowns. No trouble with them. They look absolutely natural and amazing. I was treating so kind by Dr. Medina and sidekick Mrs Yoanna, despite my disability, they made me feel comfortable. Also, the hygienist is awesome! Doctor, Andre Medina, and hygienist And both assistance, actually even help me to transfer from my wheelchair to dental chair. They made me feel human and that is priceless. This is my story so if you're thinking about it definitely check them out you won't regret it.

I was at the Pincrest Modern Dentistry to accompany my wife. She highly recommended Joy Fuqua, the dental hygienist. So I decided to try for myself, and found out that Joy is highly qualified, professional, and experienced with a very positive and friendly attitude. In general, the reception staff, was very welcoming and pleasant as well.

My overall experience at the Pinecrest Modern Dentistry has been very positive. They put you through thorough examination and give you adequate information about the dental treatment plan they propose. It's up to you to accept or get secondary opinion. Their dental hygienists are absolutely great. Joy Fuqua worked on cleaning my teeth and I definitely recommend her.

I don't usually submit reviews and I'm very patient and I tend to give people a chance. But I can't give the dentist at this dentist office a pass. It was my second time going to this dentist office and each time I had gone, The experience was less than satisfactory. The first time I was abruptly told that I need a special treatment in order for the dentist to even clean my teeth. It felt like a sales gimmick. It was aggressive for me and I work in sales. The second encounter was the straw that broke the camels back. The dentist was examining my teeth. He was wearing gloves and using his dental Instrument like normal except he didn't give me a cup of water to wash out my mouth after he had checked the various areas. He waited for me to swallow. I swallowed twice before it dawned on me that I was suppose to be spitting into a cup or having my mouth washed out or vacuumed. On the third time he checked my mouth after my teeth where cleaned. He waited for me to swallow. This time I was aware that he wasn't following the normal process. When you realize that I wasn't going to swallow on the third time, he now offered the water and the vacuum. Due to the discomfort in my throat and the glove taste in my mouth. I'm done with this dentist office. I would not recommend him or the practice.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and kind. I especially felt at ease with the dental assistant, Gaby, and Joy the dental hygienist along with the rest of the staff. Dr.Llano took her time to educate me before my treatment and was overall so sweet. I am usually someone who gets nervous at the dentist office but felt at ease from the second I stepped in and throughout the entire visit. I have no doubt Dr. Medina is a well educated professional, however after getting a second opinion based on his diagnosis I was able to save my teeth and wallet from over $5000 of unnecessary treatment. The cleanings here are amazing and the dental hygienists are truly amazing. However if you want to save your teeth from unnecessary treatment and save your wallet do not come here unless it's for a cleaning.

Nice location, large and very well kept The front office staff were very helpful. I had registered on line so they just took my name and I waited for the dentist. Dr. Medina showed me the entire place. Very well equipped, modern equipment. The cray technician was very sweet, very fast. I guess newer equipment makes it easy for all. Dr. Medina took his time and explained everything to me. Nice kid. The cleaning was good. The lady is very skilled. A very complete job. (Nice blue eyes too) A great place if you need a dentist. I will be back in 30 days to complete my dental work

Dr. Medina is a long time friend, and when I swapped over from my prior dentist, I was worried that if he wasn't great, I'd be in an awkward situation. Luckily, Dr. Medina is as great a dentist as he is a friend! I was welcomed warmly and admitted quickly because of the online form completion option. After being admitted, Dr. Medina greeted me and passed me off to his friendly assistant who quickly and efficiently completed my X-ray exams. Within only a few minutes, Dr. Medina explained all his findings, gave sound recommendations about wisdom teeth removal, and fielded my questions with ease. His confidence made me feel comfortable and safe in their care. Stavros then provided a wonderful cleaning experience while maintaining a pleasant, albeit mostly one sided conversation as I couldn't really speak! All in all, a great experience, covered by insurance, and a happy first time customer who will certainly be back and recommending!
