Pinebrook Dentistry is committed to providing comfortable and personalized dental care to all of our patients in a professional environment. From the moment you walk into our office until you leave, you will be assisted by our friendly team members who are genuinely caring.
Dr. Gloria Kim grew up in Centreville, Virginia and went on to graduate from the University of Virginia with bachelors degrees in chemistry and Spanish. Dr. Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2009 and completed general practice residency at the Washington D.C. Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
As an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, Dr. Kim continues to devote many hours each year to pursue advanced training in various areas of dentistry. Some of these areas include cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics,and endodontics.
Pinebrook Dentistry was founded with a vision to provide compassionate and gentle dental care, utilizing the highest quality dental techniques. Dr. Gloria Kim strives to treat each patient with their comfort in mind and enjoys connecting with patients on a personal level. Dr. Kim also believes that it is a privilege to be serving her neighborhood and wants to give back to the community. She regularly volunteers at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and has served as a volunteer dentist overseas several times.
As the newest member of Pinebrook Dentistry, Chelsea is committed to caring for her patients and getting to know them on a personal level. To further her dental career, Chelsea is in the process of applying to become a dental hygienist.
Going to the dentist for me can be extremely overwhelming. I am so happy to have found Pinebrook. I cannot recommend Dr. Kim and her staff enough. Karen at reception was extremely welcoming, Neve the dental assistant was very sweet and fun to chat with, and Dr. Kim was beyond kind and understanding. She explained everything I needed done and how we can go about it to ease my anxiety. I know my family has found a great dentist so close to home.

This was my first visit at this office. The receptionist was very friendly and attended me quickly. Dr. Kim and her assistant were very professional and caring. She explained things very clearly. I would recommend this dentistry.

This is a great place for dental cleaning. Both the heiginist and the Doctor are very nice and friendly. They have very modern and newer equipment which to me was a plus. I would give more than 5 stars rating if I could. I will miss this place my relocation to Vegas happens later this year. - DeWan Choudhury

Nicole was super friendly and kept checking on me to make sure I felt comfortable. She did an excellent job on my cleaning. Dr. Kim did top-quality work on my fillings (that still look great a year later) and she diagnosed a problem that several other dentists missed. I feel like I am in very competent, yet compassionate hands at Pinebrook Dentistry. I am impressed with everyone who works in this office and I would highly recommend them. I have been to many dentists in my life, but so far Dr. Kim is my favorite.

I have had such a great customer experience with Nicole, the Dental Hygienist. She takes her time with my cleaning, always checks in with me for any gum sensitivity or discomfort, and makes me feel like she cares. After my last cleaning, i felt that i had a new mouth :-)

I called for an appointment and they had a cancellation and got me in the next morning. Then I showed up an hour early and they took me right in. Nicole was great did my cleaning and was just as gentle as she needed to be. The office staff was very helpful and the office is not like any dental office i have been in, massage chairs and movies while being attended to...i have found dental heaven. DR. Kim is very nice and will stay with this group for as long as I have teeth.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Kim and I'm super impressed. Dr. Kim's practice has come highly recommended for quite some time but our family was seeing another dentist in the area and didn't have reason to switch until recently when it took over 6 months to reschedule a routine cleaning. I'm so glad that this led me to Pinebrook Dentistry as this has been the best dental experience I have had for a long time, if not ever. Extremely friendly, competent doctor and staff. Highly recommend!!!!

Dr. Kim provides professional and expert dentistry. Her kind, empathetic demeanor puts the patient at ease immediately upon arrival and throughout the procedure. Her team (dental assistant) supports her throughout the procedure by using efficient skills to treat the patient. Her front-desk staff processes patient information and manages the insurance process seamlessly. Highly recommended!
