Lori has been a dedicated employee of Dr. Froug at our Bradenton location for over 26 years. She graduated from the St. Petersburg College Dental Hygiene Program in 1997 and has worked in the dental profession for nearly 30 years.

Lori provides excellent quality and comfortable care to our patients and helps them achieve and maintain a healthy mouth and smile. She emphasizes the prevention and treatment of dental diseases that plague many. She has received training at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute in the treatment and management of patients with periodontal disease and cosmetic dentistry.

I drove over an hour from Ft Myers to visit this facility after being referred by a family member. I had a great experience here from the front desk staff, to the medical assistant , the hygienist and the dentist . Everyone was very nice & extremely professional. I for one truly appreciated the knowledge and diversity of this office. I was even offered 49$ price for being a new patient.

Establish pt have been waiting (rescheduled 5 times for cleaning had a compost put on my bridge 1 yet ago finally got in for appointment and day before try to cancel I told the NO I will not be rescheduled so they kept my appointment for 300 to get there early so I came at 245pm. Sat in waiting room 45 mins after appt scheduled time finally the put me in cubical tell me they need X-rays I argued the fact that I have X-rays on file and I just need the dentist to look at the tooth that was discolored from the composit they placed dr come in and bad mouths the dentist that did original and has her girl write up estimate for replacement at tune of 9,789 after insurance . I asked the girl about what they were planning on doing about the tooth I came in for (2) hours later and about my cleaning and she tells me they plan on doing nothing. Because they don't do work same day as construct !! She needs to loose her license!!!! 2 hours later and nothing was done but a sales pitch!!!!! I'm reporting them. Unbelievable

I recently found it necessary to return to BayView Dental in Parrish to have an adj to some dental work done there a couple of months ago. I was surprised to find that the dentist, and most of the staff had left the practice. At first I was anxious, but was soon at ease after meeting Dr Dixon, and her assistant. They took care of me, and explained things well and were very pleasant. I will return to BayView Dental, and Dr Dixon.

Was nice for my first visit but I do have some concerns because I'm being told I need work done that I have never been told about before. They also told me when I asked if my insurance would cover it, that I need to pay upfront and that they then print out my bill to submit to my insurance for a refund. My insurance covers the first $3,000. But I have never heard of an office not being able to contact your insurance to see and make sure the codes are covered. I don't want to be stuck with a $4500 bill if for some reason it's not covered. Just seems a bit sketchy to me and that they just want your money. I have never had a dentist do this in my 40 years being alive. I will be contacting my insurance and see what I'm to do and if this isn't the correct protocol then I will be getting my X-rays and taking my business somewhere else.EDITED 9/15/22. Just spoke with my insurance and they stated this provided should be able to code my bill and shouldn't be charging me upfront because this all should be covered without me paying out of pocket. They said unfortunately some providers just care about money and taking advantage of people. They also said that if this provider was reputable they would have told me that they would work with me and get my work done that is covered by my insurance now and the work I need later done in January when my new insurance kicks in would then be completed and covered as well. I'm going to call and get my X-rays and find a new dentist. I would stay far away from this place because they are not honest and they will steal your money! Unreal that in a recession we have to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism. PS! I spoke to a lady and she said my insurance is lying which isn't the case because I just spoke to another dental office who told me that my insurance is correct. I also have not received my X-rays via email like they stated they would send. So I must go in person now to get them!

From the start I was totally impressed with the organization and team effort that I experienced. I was made comfortable and educated about my condition and discussed my options. I felt like I had been a patient for years. Dr Dixon and her team earned and deserve high marks. I found my dentist at BayView Dental

The hygienist is outstanding. She cleaned my teeth better than I have ever had it done, while not asking me questions during her procedure. Lol

Horrible, horrible, horrible. They changed owner or name I get emails and texts from both names. Husband went there cleaning cost more than other places BUT he had a Small filling that needed replaced they don't do it here he had to go way South of University the people at this location gave him the wrong name of the location he actually finally found it. they told him they didn't have his records so he'd have to wait he waited 20 minutes they came out and said it would be another 20 minutes and then they came out and said they would have to reschedule and it was gonna be $300 for a very small filling that had fallen out and then He left. they followed out to the car asking he wanted to reschedule and he said no he walked out they told him he had to pay for the office visit which all he did was sit there listening to them say they didn't have his records and it would be another 20 minutes. VERY unorganized VERY imcompetent, VERY MONEY HUNGRY STAY AWAY from they. It's too bad the place used to be great

Got stuck with a bill over 100$ Because I was not told they were out of Network, with my insurance, tried talking to lady in office today and she just wants to be right so I walked out never to return again. 284$ for my yearly x-Rays and cleaning and I still am billed 118$ cause they didn't bother to tell me there office was out of Network with my insurance, definitely not my fault and doesn't help that lady in office was rude and cut me off, cause she wants to be right so be Right!!!!!

I am so happy that I found this dentist! I have only great things to say about my experience. I walked in, the front desk made an appointment for me in 2 days. Prices were given up front. I am a self paid patient and I was treated with respect and the numbers were very accurate. The x-rays and exam was $59 (special). The hygienist was great! She was caring and gentle. She was honest and compassionate. All of the employees were A+! The dentist was fantastic! She fixed my crown in no time and didn't take any shortcuts. She was not rushed, I felt like they cared for my teeth like they would their own. I was very impressed! I will be back!!! Thank you Pinebrook and Dr. Burdman!
