Dr. Aaron Pitts completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at Boston University, from which he graduated in 2009. Dr. Pitts completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY, and a one-year oral surgery internship at the V.A. Hospital in Long Beach, CA.
As a dentist, Dr. Pitts is dedicated to serving those in need and providing the highest quality of dentistry available. He completes extensive continuing education training each year. He is certified in IV sedation and has received advanced training in implant placement and restoration for both single-tooth implants and crowns as well as overdentures and implant-retained restorations.
Dr. Pitts has been married to his best friend and college sweetheart for more than 15 years. He is the proud father of three boys and one baby girl, and his family is the focus and joy of his life. Outside of the office, he enjoys outdoor activities, anything on the ocean, music, good books and movies, and spending time with his family.
Heather Valdez joined Pine Valley Dental in 2016, after more than seven years in the event planning business. This experience has translated well to her current position, where she strives to put patient care above all else, personalizing your visit to accommodate your needs. She strives to provide the best possible service to our patients, and make their experience a pleasant one from the very first phone call.
Heather spends her free time with her husband and can often be found at the movie theater, continuing her decade long tradition of seeing a movie every Friday. She also enjoys cooking, working out and hiking with friends.
Michelle Butts graduated with honors from Apollo College Dental Assisting School in Spokane, Washington, in 2005. She expands her knowledge in the dental field by completing continuing education courses. She is committed to providing superior clinical support and a comfortable patient experience. She amazes our patients with the natural-appearing temporary crowns that she fabricates!
Kyla Lennox takes pride in providing quality patient care. She enjoys continuing her education and expanding her knowledge in the dental field. You will find Kyla chairside assisting Dr. Pitts. Kyla is committed to providing every patient with a positive and comfortable experience.
When not at work, Kyla enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her family, at the beach or playing in the snow at Cuyamaca. She also enjoys spending as much time as possible visiting her grandchildren in Hawaii.
In her free time, Avelia loves spending time adventuring with her two beautiful daughters, helping them grow and learn. As a longtime local resident, enjoying the peace and nature with her family is a perfect day.
Judi Richardson has been a registered dental hygienist for over 50 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Loma Linda University. Judi began working with our office in 1986. She is very personable and enjoys empowering each individual patient with the skills necessary to maintain excellent teeth and gum health.
Briana Coombs is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been in the dental profession for more than six years. She received her degree from Southwestern College in National City, where she graduated at the top of her class. While in school, Briana received a prestigious award for special interest and proficiency in Periodontics and was also inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. Brianas love of dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is so beneficial to their overall health.
