Dr. Andy graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and went to work for ATK Aerospace Group R&D Department where he worked on multiple rocket fairing projects. Despite having a great position and career path he felt like something was missing in life and decided to pursue a career change. He wanted a career that would allow him to work with, and help people on a much more direct level. Dr. Jorgensen moved back to Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Denver campus where he took the prerequisite courses he needed to apply for dental school. While taking courses he also worked at Adam Aircraft as a flight test liaison engineer.
Dr. Andy and his wife Nicole moved to Steamboat in 2013 to become part of the community that they had fallen in love with during their many trips from childhood. Dr. Andy and Nicole have 2 young daughters, Kate and Sarah, and enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, hiking and biking.
Dr. Kevin Sullivan grew up in Byfield, Massachusetts, a small town about 35 miles north of Boston. From a young age he knew he wanted to be a dentist so as to emulate his grandfather, a prosthodontist in the Air Force, and his mom, a dental hygienist. Kevin spent his formative years playing soccer, skateboarding, surfing, and lacrosse. After graduating from Governor Dummer Academy, he got his first taste of Colorado at the University of Denver where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Philosophy.
During his college years, Dr. Kevin fell in love with everything Colorado had to offer and quickly made plans to make Colorado home. Dr. Kevin quickly immersed himself in the dental profession, working as a dental assistant in Stapleton before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Aurora.
Before moving to Steamboat, Dr. Kevin had experience in public health settings such as the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Worthmore Clinic. Dr. Kevin loves dentistry as it is a trifecta of service, skill, and knowledge that is a truly rewarding experience.
Dr. Tucker grew up in a small town in eastern Arkansas, where he enjoyed team sports, horseback riding, fishing, and water skiing. He graduated from high school in Memphis, Tennessee. His part time work at Methodist Hospital enhanced his interest in the health sciences.
Dr. Tucker graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1977, and then returned to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences, where he graduated in 1982 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
After graduation, Dr. Tucker moved to his mothers childhood home town of Sheridan, Arkansas, and established a dental practice which continued for 35 years. Dr. Tucker married his wife, Kim in 1984. They first visited Steamboat in 1986, and became regular visitors, and moved to Steamboat permanently in late 2017. The Tuckers have a daughter, Alison, who moved to Steamboat in 2001 and married her husband Nate in 2008. Nate and Alison had a baby boy in April of 2017.
Dr. Alex Troxel completed his undergraduate studies at DePauw University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He continued his dental education at Indiana University School of Dentistry and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree as class valedictorian. Following dental school, Dr. Troxel completed a General Practice Residency, which focused on comprehensive care, surgery, and anesthesia. He finished his education at Indiana University Graduate Endodontics, where he earned his Masters of Science in Dentistry as well as his Certificate in Endodontics.
Dr. Troxel was raised in northeastern Indiana by a crop farmer and a tap dance teacher. Although his education and interests have taken him far from home, he does his best to retain the midwestern decency and humility with which he grew up. Endodontics has been a rewarding career that compels honesty and trust between patient and providerthese relationships are what motivate Dr. Troxel daily. Outside of the office, Dr. Troxel enjoys cooking, music production, paddling, fly fishing, and spoiling his dog Olive.
Dr. Liana grew up in Northern New Jersey. Passionate about the outdoors, she spent much of her youth skiing throughout the northeast and western US, as well as enjoying the beaches of Long Beach Island, NJ with her friends and family
Dr. Liana attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in college, she worked as a dental assistant at the family dental practices of both her aunt and uncle in Massachusetts. It was during this time that she found herself inspired by her familys career path and intrigued by the artistry that was involved in dental work. Soon after completing her internships, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Liana attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City where she earned her degree of Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated Valedictorian. After completing her schooling, Dr. Liana was accepted to a highly regarded General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. With her residency based in a Trauma 1 Hospital, Dr. Liana had the opportunity to complete a high volume of surgical procedures while honing her craft in general and cosmetic dentistry.
After completing her residency, Dr. Liana and her husband, Mike, completed a long awaited relocation to Colorado. After a few years of living outside of Denver and escaping to the mountains at every opportunity, they decided to relocate to Steamboat Springs. Dr. Liana and her family were continuously drawn the Steamboat area for the strong community feel that sets it apart from other mountain towns.
Dr. Liana and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jackson, in December 2020. Outside of work, you can find Dr. Liana skiing, camping, or fly fishing with her family and dog, Juno.

This child of the 1950's is always a little amazed at the professionalism, the technological advances, the complete care for my health, my comfort, my comprehension, and my future at PGDA. I trust and enjoy the care I receive from anyone on the staff. In short, I'm grateful to have these people in our little town. Seems awfully good to be true.

Awesome! Definitely five stars. I had an emergency denture situation past Monday and I was getting married on Saturday. The doctor and the team at Pine Grove dental took care of the situation first thing Monday morning took them a half hour. I had a great and beautiful wedding everything went perfect and the visit to Pine Grove dental at the beginning of the week was part of that thank you guys very much!

As a new patient, my experience with the staff and Dr. Sullivan was exceptional, and the most thorough exam and review I have ever had. Everyone is friendly, kind, courteous, and took ample time to explain X-ray images and findings, ensure my comfort, and explain every step of evaluation during the comprehensive exam. I feel very confident in the quality of care - from routine cleaning and exams to any future dental work I may need. Very happy to have found the Pine Grove Dental group.

Very disappointed in my experience with a retreat root canal. The infection got worse after the treatment and I was put on antibiotics for 1 week. Everything started to improve but not enough to stop the antibiotics after just 6 days. I called on a Friday to try and get another week of medicine before the weekend came and never received a call back. I had to call multiple times at the beginning of the week to ask again and received a call back from the front desk on Tuesday saying to go to the ER for antibiotics or have the tooth pulled. Really hard to believe I was refused antibiotics for a pretty serious ongoing infection in my face by a medical professional. After days of no response and extreme pain and swelling I was finally put back in antibiotics and the tooth started to improve. I went through a lot of unnecessary suffering and almost lost a molar due to poor communication. I came here because of the great reviews and have been so disappointed in my experience and overall care.

Pine Grove Dental Arts has an amazing staff of true professionals. They have a tremendous sense of urgency to ensure your dental needs are met. I recently had a mouth appliance made to help with grinding and breathing while I sleep and Dr. Andy and Sara fit me to perfection. Super friendly and caring. . . what more could you ask for?

Many thanks to Pine Grove Dental Arts for a wonderful experience today. They were very quick to fit me in for a dental emergency appointment. Dr Kevin was very thorough with assessing my case, developing a treatment plan and explaining next steps. Ciara and Taylor had prescriptions ordered and follow-up visits secured before I left. I really want to extend due recognition to this great team for all of the time, patience and care afforded me today, My pain was addressed and I have a plan in place to resolve the "root cause" of my dental issue.

I had a wonderful experience at Pine Grove Dental Arts today! Heather was so kind and caring, and she was able to fit me in the schedule for a same-day appointment right before Christmas. Dr. Kevin was great! He explained my issue thoroughly and helped me to feel comfortable before the Christmas holiday. Everyone was so pleasant and kind to talk to in their office!
