Dr. Lori Rice is a native of Peoria, Illinois. In 1998, she graduated summa cum laude from Southern Adventist University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She then married her best friend and strongest supporter, Matthew Rice. Together they headed west to the School of Dentistry at Loma Linda University, where Lori graduated top of her class in 2002 with her Degree of Dental Science. Dr. Rice started practicing dentistry right after graduation alongside her father, Dr. Robert Pollard, and the dedicated team at Pine Glen Dental. She is grateful for 10 wonderful years of working beside the best mentor in the world. In 2012, she bought the practice and took it to the next level while working under the same philosophy.
The practice was started as a family business and will always continue to be. It was built on the philosophy of the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have done to you. It is because of this practice model that the Pine Glen Dental team continues to strive to give our loyal and wonderful patients the best possible dental treatment Peoria has to offer.
Dr. Rice and her husband have three beautiful daughters and two spoiled rotten German Shepherds. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafting, being involved with her church youth group, and traveling with her family for great memories.
I enjoy working with my hands and creating things. A great smile can change someones entire outlook on life and how patients feel about themselves. Not to mention that overall health can start with healthy teeth. Ive had patients cry tears of joy when they see their full mouth rehabilitation work completed. That joy brings me joy.
