On October 21 I had a very enjoyable experience at Pine Dentistry thanks to all the employees and especially a young lady named Kourie, Kourie was the dentist that took my X-rays and did my cleaning and let's just say that she is very passionate about her relationship with her patients and is also very loving of her carrier choice. I say this because I like to be explained everything on how my teeth are doing and without skipping a beat she explained everything that I could have possibly wanted to know and enjoyed telling me about everything, as well as while doing an fantastic job at cleaning my teeth. I couldn't have asked for a better experience today. Thank you Ms.Kourie for my best dental experience yet!

This place is awful for MANY reasons. It was so much better as Kool Smiles. 1. High turn over rate so noone knows how to do their job from 1 minute to the next. Dr high turn over too. Never consistently see the same people. 2. 9/10 x the wait time is regularly RIDICULOUS. Why schedule an appointment if you're not seen for another HOUR? 3. Lazy. Ortho staff tried confirming apt yesterday. I was at work so I didn't answer. They told my secondary contact that if I didn't call and confirm the appointment, it would be cancelled. Never bothered to leave me (the primary) a voicemail advising the apt required confirmation. 4. Ortho keeps bankers hours. So, if you have a day job, plan to take off work regularly to accommodate their banker schedules. I could go on and on. If I could leave 0 stars, they'd get just that. If my daughter didn't have braces, we wouldn't come back here. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!

One star is too high. This place is HORRIBLY run! The front office people are THE WORST! Complete incompetence. They make everything difficult and complicated and don't understand what they're even saying half the time. The waiting room is gross. I think people who got rejected from Walmart got jobs here.

Some of the rudest receptionists I have even encountered. I worked in customer service for years and ALWAYS asked what the customer needed before putting them on hold and I did my best not to keep putting them on hold. A simple scheduling question should not have left me on hold for 10 minutes. The receptionists are only a small part of the overall practice and how it's operated. They do not value your time at all. Most of the time we are waiting hours just to be seen. I understand getting behind, but give me an opportunity to reschedule if you're going to be over an hour behind. If my insurance would cover another practice, I'd certainly go elsewhere.

I got my surgery done on Friday. My appointment was at 1:00 but I didn't get Called until 3:15. The male assistant was already frustrated. I have extreme anxiety especially with dental work. I could tell he didn't want to talk to me. Both him and the Dr weren't listening to me. It has been 2 days since my surgery and I still have not received my meds. I have a horrible infection now. The only person who helped me calm down was Alexis. If she was my assistant I probably wouldn't have been so scared. She's a wonderful assistant. The Dr. Knew I had an infection and chose to do my surgery anyway and the numbing needles were so painful and he blamed me " for closing my mouth " but I had already told him I can barley open my mouth. The assistant was out loud talking about how I needed to use the restroom more than once like im not a human being.... everyone in this building besides those two men were nice and respectful. I will never get surgery at this dentist office again.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND E V E R. The main doctor Dr Lee (Asian lady) is NOT good with kids! She also kicked me and my daughter out because my daughter was afraid, as well as my 2&3 year old. When I spoke to Virginia dental they told me that she sends a lot of patients to them!

I wish I could give zero stars the worst place to come they are very unorganized first time coming and my last time my appointment was at 11 they said come early to do paperwork hour in a half later I'm still waiting so I walked out and call the hotline to complain

Great Dentist! Being a mommy to eight you know it's a time limit before the kids gets tired of being in one spot for too long! Their patient with the kids. They get all of them cleaned and they leave with a smile every time!

We've been coming here for my children's teeth for years but this appointment we got Steve Hanson as our dental hygienist. I can't believe he got my daughter to laugh, she hates having her teeth scraped. It really made our experience 100 times better. Edit 3 years later - still coming here and STILL 5 stars! Kids can be fickle, teeth can be no fun, but the professionals here are always lovely and take good care of us.

Mrs Katrina Paine ( Office Manager) Excellent, caring, amazing person!!!!!. My daughter had her wisdom teeth surgery this a.m. My daughter had an anxiety/panic attack and she took over for me( her mother). I could not stand to see my daughter in that much pain. Mrs Katrina Paine comfort my daughter very well and calmed her down. Love her. Would recommend her to any patient that needs comforting. She went above and beyond. Thank u so much for your service! Mrs Alex ( Dental assistant) was also a great assistant .She as well tried so hard to keep my baby calm by holding her hand when she felt pain. However she didn't give my baby girl no numbing gel before injections in her gums, I really don't think that was her fault though , I truly believe that was Dr Sm fault! It was under his request and she was just following his orders.I absolutely requested the numbing gel from my sons experience. My Son experience was so bad that he had a black eye for days!!!! DR SM doesn't like to use numbing gel!!!!! Smh. Straight torture!!! Who in the world like to get needles injected in your gums without numbing gel first? I know WE DON'T! I say that because he did it as well 4 years ago to my son!!!!. Now if the numbing gel was applied I'm pretty sure that surgery would have been less painful and much better. Sorry but just giving u heads up! If u get him u better demand numbing gel and sit there to watch the numbing gel get applied! THOSE 5 STARS DOES NOT REFERE TO DR SM. !!!!!! Only the 3 ladies. The 3rd lady name is Sonya Sapp (front desk) She was great. She came in the back to check on me because she saw i was upset and crying. The sad part is She had so much confidence in this doctor and it was literally the opposite. I don't blame Sonya at all. Sonya did a great job by comforting me (. mom) So big ups and 5 stars to the 3 ladies ONLY!!! NOT DR SM!

This management team has been ideal! They have gone above and beyond to ensure we had appointments which work with the children's school. They have listened to and accomodated all of the concerns and personalities of the three children who have come under their care. The doctor has been patient with our seventeen year old wearing her retainers. The team has shown myself and my eldest how to use the expanders for the anti thumbssucking device placed in my middle schooler daughter's braces. My son, just entering highschool is taking university environmental science and his image has changed and will help him achieve more success in the future. Their orthdontist takes his work seriously and his team all the way from explaining the financial aspects to sharing stories, and giving words of encouragement have done a phenomenal job! Thank you.. for taking all needed precautions regarding covid, *also for corordinating with our local dentist or offering general and emergency care.
