The best dental experience Ive been to and highly recommended clinic! Dr. Rao is so kind. Techs are the best and very knowledgeable especially Ann who did my dental care routine! I have anxiety when it comes to my dental care but they put me at ease. No pain while doing the cleaning. Schedule is flexible with Ms. Hyma. Great staff and great dentist! - Highly skilled people. Positive and calm environment.

My experience with any Dr starts with their office staff..Ms Hyma (front desk) is warm, kind, accommodating, & knowledgeable..all attributes that are welcomed when you visit a new dentist office..She is a prelude to your experience with Dr Rao & technicians..they exude kindness, are precise, accurate & knowledgeable when caring for your dental needs..Dr Rao & her team set the standard of a professional dental visit experience for both adults & kids..my kids go willingly to their appts without fear..this is an office that your entire family will visit for years to come..

I generally don't write public reviews, but taking an exception here! I want to give a shout-out to Dr. Sumanya Rao for her expert skills, thoroughness, and ability to diagnose the issue. She is very compassionate and treats you with warmth. You can feel very confident that you are in safe hands while getting treated. I want to thank her and her extremely polite staff for keeping up with the high standards of their services.

Everyone in the office is extremely friendly , helpful and a delight! From the receptionist, dental assistants , dental hygienist and dentist! Dr. Rao is very caring, friendly ,compassionate , knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this office.

The Pikesville Dental Associates are very prompt in service and they are very patient to listen all my problems and rectify it. The place also very hygienic and everyone is following the CDC guidelines.The front office also very helpful in discussing all the options and insurance provisions. If you're looking for an absolutely and positively highly-skilled, compassionate,, and dedicated dentist, then please schedule your next dental appointment with Dr. Sumanya Venkat Rao. But what makes Dr. Rao so incredibly amazing? Well, her profile definitely sums it up quite nicely, but following are some actual facts of my own to further support all the accolades and any other glowing opinions that I'm sure must follow her everywhere. First, she is remarkably warm and personable. Upon meeting her, I was immediately impressed and grateful for her warmth and genuine interest in what my needs were, and what I wanted accomplished during what would be several visits to complete two crowns. One crown I wanted solely for aesthetic reasons to replace what was not a color matching the rest of my teeth, which were at least two shades whiter, the other for a large filling that simply had to be removed and the tooth restored and placed over with a crown. Not by any means a hugely complicated task for any qualified dentist; however, I must admit I did need and wanted to be made as comfortable as possible along the way as well as being assured the end result would be everything I hoped for. As you have probably guessed already, the entire experience was a tremendously great one. Dr. Rao, along with her well-trained and equally as kind assistants, made certain I felt no pain, was relaxed, and could entrust them with my well-being throughout each required procedure. At some point prior to completion of both crowns, it was determined that my upper retainer would need adjusting. My first thought, of course, was to visit an orthodontist, but Dr. Rao, with her brilliant mind and laser focus on detail, adjusted my retainer perfectly. When all was done, my new crowns matched the whiteness of my other teeth, felt amazing, and my retainer still keeps my teeth as well-aligned as before. It's just too bad I have to wear a mask all the time during this never-ending pandemic to avoid, even after receiving all vaccines, a brush with Covid-19, or otherwise everyone would see just how beautiful my smile is. The one thing that is certain is when I look in the mirror I see exactly what I dreamed of having, and I thank Dr. Rao for all that she is and for who she is --a phenomenal dentist, a real friend to all her patients, a loving mother, and someone who can be relied on to never disappoint and whose ultimate goal is to make you very, very happy. Finally, please be sure to schedule your next dental appointment to see Dr. Rao with Hyma, the ever-dutiful, polite, and courteous receptionist. She will be sure to fit you in for a time that is either convenient or preferable. When you arrive, relax and enjoy!

Dr.Yi was fabulous. She was very efficient, detailed oriented and has a great personality. I have gone to dentist in the past and have not felt as comfortable as I felt with Dr.Yi and her staff.Also, my teeth where pulled and had a very comfortable recovery no sockets a lil soar but nothing of what I have experienced in the past with other dentist great work

Today was my first visit and I was really anxious and nervous. Hyma was so welcoming and very kind. The dental assistant Ajee was awesome and very down to earth. My dentist I had today, Dr. Yi, gave me a filling and she was concerned that I wouldn't necessarily like it if the color didn't match 100%. By the time she aas done it is LITERALLY a perfect match!!! And you can't tell at all that there was ever a problem wuth that tooth. They made me feel so welcome and were so understanding of my concerns. I think I have found my perfect match!

I have dental anxiety but everyone at this office made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Rao is the best dentist I have ever had. She is kind and acknowledged my anxiety and put me at ease. It is so nice to go to a dental office that is nonjudgmental and takes such good care of their patients. I also appreciate their flexible scheduling.

I came in and although I had 3 teeth pulled it was still a GREAT experience. It can be hard to find a decent dentist but this Dental office was different. I would recommend Pikesville Dental Associates to anyone and already have with my family. They are professional and get the job done. I couldn't ask for more. I definitely will be coming back. ALL the staff is EXCELLENT!
