Our practice is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Dr. Henry Pierpan and Dr. Monica M. Pierpan and operates out of two offices in Hampstead and Jacksonville, NC. We are proud to welcome patients from communities across the greater Wilmington area. These include Topsail Island, Surf City, Porters Neck, and Figure Eight Island.

I recently had my first visit at this practice after moving to this area. The hygienist was wonderful. She was professional, thorough, and gentle. However, the visit with the dentist was less than great. He immediately spoke about doing dental work and suggested removing an old silver filling to address cavities in adjoining teeth. I asked whether a rubber dam would be used for this process and he denied. After requesting the rubber dam he said "well, if she wants one, we can place one." He appeared rushed, annoyed at questions, and his manner was condescending. When I asked about problems with TMJ the only suggestion made was to become more aware of my habit of clenching my teeth. I did not feel confident about the whole experience so I returned to my previous dentist who said there was nothing wrong with the silver filling and he would not remove it unless there was a problem. He took care of the couple of other cavities that the dentist at Pierpan had mentioned and I was on my way.

This office told my spouse he had 9 cavities. 9! He has never had even 1 in his whole life! He insisted they were wrong and they even tried to show him where the cavities were. He went to a different dentist who assured him, he didn't even have 1. **BEWARE**

What an absolutely wonderful experience I had meeting Dr. Monica and her very compassionate staff. My fear fell away as I understood I was being heard and cared about. Every person in the office is kind and helpful. I have been going to Dr. Pierpans office for years and they make me feel like family. I would highly recommend them to everyone. As I have aged they always make sure I am as comfortable as possible for every procedure.

I can't say enough good things about this practice, I actually look forward to my teeth cleanings because the hygienists are so personable and gentle! Everyone greets you with a smile, and my appointments always run on time. It's always a smooth and easy check in process, and leaving is the same way as they usually makes your next appointment as your sitting in the chair. I love this office and I'm so happy I chose Pierpan when I moved to the area a couple years ago, they are the best!

Great office for family dentistry. The staff is always friendly and kind with adults and children. The hygienists and dentists are gentle and are excellent communicators. The receptionists are always upfront with costs so you know what to expect. Definitely recommend.

Everyone- from the person who answered the phone, to the receptionist, dental technician and Dr. Williams, the dentist, was super friendly, gentle, patient and very professional!! The receptionist worked with me, a new, never before seen patient, to get me into the office that same day, to see a dentist because I had an immediate dental need. We will be doing ALL of our dental visits at Pierpan!!! An excellent experience all around!!
