I have been a member of Piermont Dental for a few years now, and I know I am in good hands. Angelica is my go-to dental hygienist; she is very efficient, sweet and professional. She does my cleanings so well, and has made suggestions to improve my oral hygiene that have helped me tremendously. Dr. Caniza is knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I love the way he works with his team and office staff. I trust Piermont to take care of me and give me the best dental care possible.

My whole family can together! Piermont Dental went above and beyond to cater to my needs today! My 3 and 4 year old got their teeth cleaned and were giggling and enjoying themselves the whole time while I got my teeth cleaned. I couldn't ask for a more ideal situation. Everything was prompt with all 3 of us! All or our hygienists and dentists were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. All of the women at the front desk were warm and accommodating. I won't go anywhere else!

My mother, Eileen Barkai, of blessed memory, died in Nyack Hospital due to what I can prove was medical negligence in January. The trauma of watching her die due to a drug dosing error almost caused me to end my own life. The Hospital then had two employees press harassment charges against me for sending emails asking questions about the cause of my late mother's death. I believe the charges will be dropped because one thing for sure, the town of Orangetown has a great Chief and an a very brave Detective Sergeant, I am still dealing with the pain in untold ways. We live in Upper Nyack and every day I have to drive past this clinic. There is a sign there they put in the street that says "Thank You Nyack Hospital". Everytime I see it it makes me want to cry. I stopped one day and told them that while I respect their First Amendment Right to Free Speech I would hope they might consider the pain it caused me to see that sign every day and asked them to take it down. I asked them to consider the pain it triggered in me every time I drove by. I drove by again today and the sign was still there. Apparently the people at Piermont Dental Clinic don't care about the pain their stupid cheerleading gesture is inflicting on the life of a human being in deep mourning dealing with a traumatic loss. Its their right...after all America is a great country where we are protected by the Constitution and we are free to say things and hold up signs even if other people find them offensive. But if a Dentist Office does not care about the pain it inflicts on strangers imagine what they will do to your teeth! Stay away from this place. Go to Dr. Marvin in West Nyack. Him and his father took care of my mother's teeth and treated her like the Princess that she was. Happy Fourth of July and God Bless America!

Both daughters besides wife and I go to Dr Caniza and his great staff at Piermont Dental. On Rte 9W south just before High St. Near Nyack Hospital in Nyack. They are the best.

I followed up with them after a dental filling. I stayed for an hour without doctor checked on me. I fell asleep in there for that hour. They did an x-ray and wanted to stay longer. I won't come back to that place. Wasting my time. .

From the minute you walk in you're greeted with a smile which sets the tone for the visit. This place is spotless and looks like they even spit shined the floors! Angelica was awesome, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Dr. Caniza explained everything to me in a language I could understand which is greatly appreciated. Angelica performed an extensive exam and cleaned my teeth back to near perfection. I swear she turned me from a 6/10 to a solid 8/10! 10/10 would recommend.

An absolutely amazing first appointment at Piermont Dental. Thanks to Angelica I was able to have a perfect dental experience! The most pleasant cleaning I have ever had! The staff was great with giving me options for my cleaning and dental examination as well as information on the In Office Dental Plan they offer to patients without Dental insurance. Dr. Caniza was great addressing any questions or concerns that I had about my teeth and oral health. Super Convenient Location right on 9W off of Route 59 and Thruway in Nyack. I look forward to going back for my next appointment with Angelica!

Truly deserves 5+ stars. I have really bad teeth, my mouth is full of so many fillings and root canals that I'm surprised that at 34, I don't have a full set of dentures yet. That being said, I happened to be working a 6 month contract at the Nyack hospital across from where Dr. Caniza's facility is located so I decided to pay him a visit when I started having tooth pain. It turned out I needed another root canal. No surprise there. Despite my insurance being out of state, It wasn't a big issue getting the procedure done promptly. My root canal was completed surprisingly fast, even the crown was built much sooner than I expected. The technology and equipment he uses for the size of his facility is also surprisingly much more modern than other places I have been to. But this is the part about Dr. Caniza that I will truly remember and will always appreciate and have applied in my professional career as a medical professional, as you know, dentists will have to inject a numbing medication to for you to comfortably tolerate fillings and other dental procedures, I always dread the injection because I find it to be a 10/10 pain level, high anxiety inducing experience. Dr. Caniza does this distraction technique where he tricks your brain into focusing into some other stimulus while he does the injection. This massively improves the experience. There's also really good music playing in his office. Dr. Caniza, if you happen to read this, I am that Pacific Islander from Guam guy with all the animal tattoos on his arms, I am very grateful for my experience at you office. Wish you the best of luck in your career! PS: I wrote this review after removing a nasogastric tube from a historically irate and volatile pediatric patient using a similar distraction technique. Worked flawlessly!

Dr. Caniza is caring, knowledgeable & professional and his staff is very kind & friendly. The office is clean & efficient and they do digital x-rays. I highly recommend him & his practice.

Dental team was nice and pleasant, that was emergency for me but that girl I think her name was Pria she make us feel very comfortable and talk with us very friendly and carrying even they late to closing still dr and staff took care of us That very kind of them. Thank you, keep it up.

Dentist is good but staff unprofessional. for a third time the staff did not confirm an appointment set six month in advance. when I called three minutes after the scheduled appointment, to let them know I was on my way, they told me I would be charged for a cancelation and that I needed to reschedule. Even though I would have been less then five minutes late in total. When I questioned Deborah as to why no one from the office called to confirm the appointment, she told me I was being rude then lied about testing and leaving a message on my cell. I wish Piermont dental the best in the future because my family and I will not be returning. EVER!!
