Dr. Timothy Pierce, Dr. Tim was born in Philadelphia during his fathers orthodontic training and has lived in the Lowcountry for over forty years. He graduated from Porter-Gaud in 1990 and from Furman University in 1994, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Tim returned to Philadelphia to complete specialists training and received his Certificate in Orthodontics from Temple University in 2000.
While at Temple University, he also received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology in the subject of investigative cellular research. Dr. Tim has a specialty license in South Carolina and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the South Carolina Orthodontic Association and the Charleston Dental Society.
Dr. Tim taught part-time for several years at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics, where he was an associate professor. He and his wife, Dr. Daphne Pierce, reside on the Isle of Palms with their two children.

Scout Pierce is the doggiest member of out orthodontic team. He specializes in bringing smiles to our patients and loves being part of out team. His favorite hobbies are playing fetch, sleeping and meeting our patients. Stop by anytime to get a little love from our sweet Scout!

I'm 26 and had braces before when I was younger, unfortunately had to get them again. Dr Pierce is a genius and has fixed my teeth perfectly. Him and his staff are the real deal. I'm 26 and had braces before when I was younger, unfortunately had to get them again. Dr Pierce is a genius and has fixed my teeth perfectly. Him and his staff are the real deal. Especially the dental assistant Linsey. She is always smiling and has a great attitude and answers all my questions! Keep up the good work Pierce Orthodontics!

Dr. Tim & his father Dr. Mike installed my braces at the ripe age of 49! I was reluctant to do this, but was pleasantly surprised how easy and pleasant they made the whole process . . . I highly recommend Pierce Orthodontics! They are very family oriented, professional, caring & truly a class act.

Dr. Pierce is the best! He is both highly professional and completely accessible which is a combination I value and think is hard to find. His assessments are clear, he is patient with his explanations and is available and responsive to questions and emergencies. I am relived to have found such a competent practitioner and am confident that we are in good hands with Dr. Pierce.
