Dr. Piece born in Green Lake, WI. He completed his three-year undergraduate education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate course, he enrolled at the Marquette University dental school, where he completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Throughout his education at the dental school, Dr. Pierce featured on the Deans list every year and graduated with a coveted Magna Cum Laude. He also attended UCLA School of Dentistry to complete a post-grad internship program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Pierce is not just an expert in general and cosmetic dentistry; he also specializes in oral surgery, TMJ treatment and implant surgery and full-mouth reconstruction. He has undergone advanced training in oral surgery and dental implants at UCLA and has published his research on TMJ disorders and treatment multiple times in research journals.
Since opening Pierce Aesthetics, Dr. Pierce has received national recognition for his commitment to pioneering advanced technologies. He was recently recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Dentist in America and was awarded a Top Doctor award for his excellence in cosmetic dentistry. He serves as Key Opinion Leader for Mavrik Whitening Systems and has played a key role in Neocis Robotics. Additionally, Dr. Pierce operates California Dental Institute (CDI). California Dental Institute is a fully accredited institution that offers comprehensive dental assistant training and continuing education courses.
Cosmetic & General Dentistry Dr. Michael Liu grew up in Tustin and attended Foothill High School. He received his bachelors degree from Claremont McKenna College while also playing on the baseball and golf teams earning All-American Scholar Honors. Shortly after, he moved to Boston and attained his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his time in dental school, he was recognized on the Deans List and held the position of Mission Trip Coordinator where he led trips to provide dental care to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Liu strives to provide the highest quality of care for his patients by staying current on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education. He received his implant training from the Misch International Implant Institute and holds a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also underwent advanced training in comprehensive dentistry at the prestigious Kois Center. Locally, he is a member of the Orange County Dental Study Club.
Dr. Liu believes the foundation of a patient-doctor relationship depends on honesty, compassion, and commitment to quality. By taking the time to get to know each patient, he is better able to understand their concerns and deliver more personalized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with his wife in their never ending quest to find the best desserts in Orange County. He also enjoys playing in a weekly recreational softball league and tries to get out on the golf course when he gets the chance.
Dr. Philip Jo received his D.D.S. degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD) in 2001. During the first year of dental school, he was selected for a 3-year U.S. Army Health Profession Scholarship Program (HPSP). Dr. Jo received multiple awards and honors in dental school including the coveted M. Webster Prince Award and admission into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
After graduation, he completed a 1-year U.S. Army Advanced General Dentistry (AGD) Residency with the U.S. Army Dental Activity, Hawaii and voluntarily deployed to Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto Cano Airbase, Honduras for six months. Dr. Jo spent the remaining two years of active duty as a staff dentist and supervisor at Schofield Barracks Dental Clinic, Hawaii.
In 2004, he returned to LLUSD to complete a 27-month Advanced Dental Education Program in Endodontics and received a Certificate in Endodontics in 2006. His treatment philosophies are based on published scientific research and practices which enhances the patients quality of care.
Currently, Dr. Jo is serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve for the 7305th Medical Training Support Battalion located in Sacramento, CA. It is truly an honor and privilege to properly train the brave men and women of our Armed Forces prior to deployment. In his spare time, Dr. Jo loves to travel and spend time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys golf, trap/skeet shooting, and dabbles in mixing music.
Orthodontist Dr. Edward Viloria is a board-certified orthodontist who grew up in Orange County. He graduated magna cum laude from UC Irvine, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Viloria then moved to the Bay Area where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UC San Francisco (UCSF). After dental school, Dr. Viloria completed a three-year residency in orthodontics at UCLA, and concurrently earned his Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Viloria is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Viloria enjoys watching Lakers basketball, golfing and going to Disneyland.
My concern before visiting this clinic was the cost of the reconstruction procedure. It can be so difficult to find a good clinic or dentist that does not charge too much. I am lucky to have found Pierce. I think the cost of the treatment was fair and the whole experience more than satisfactory. Also liked the look of the clinic and the cheerful staff.

Amazing just simply amazing . The people's everyone. They are so kind and patient . Dr Pierce who is educated in many fields. I'm very excited to have met with him and have him part of my treatment plan for a lot of Dentistry that I need. I chose to go to Pierce Aesthetics in September after my family dentist informed me my teeth may need extractions/emergency treatment. I was nervous, but the staff has been excellent and the facility is very clean and spacious. They have made me feel at ease throughout and I am currently recovering from having my teeth extracted. They also performed a root canal and fillings with little to no pain. I am waiting for my gums to heal to begin the next steps, but so far I am happy with the results. I appreciate the great service and that they were able to see me so quickly.

I'm fairly new to Pierce Aesthetics but I'm absolutely amazed with this office. Everyone I've come in contact with during my visits have been very friendly and professional. My teeth cleanings have been so great that I actually look forward to coming back every 6 months. I highly recommend Pierce Aesthetics for all your dental needs!

I have had several visits to Pierce Aesthetics and highly recommend this practice. It has everything you need-routine dental care as well as orthodontics and dental implants, all within the same office and amazing technology. Not to mention an amazing staff and top level of care from the dentists to the front office staff. I just had a dental implant performed by Dr Pierce using the Yomi robot technology. It was pain free, and quick and Dr. Pierce takes the time to explain everything. I was amazed that healing time was minimal and no additional pain. Thank you Dr. Pierce, Joe, Ginnie and Maria for your amazing care. I highly recommend anyone needing/consider dental implants see Dr. Pierce. My initial appointment was a tooth extraction and bone graft with Dr Liu who who was amazing as well.
