A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Dr. Tiagha completed a post-graduate residency with the Veteran's Hospital in Philadelphia and a second year residency with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Upon completion she continued her working relationship with CMC working with its Mobile Dentistry Department where alongside Dr. Ford Grant, renowned for his work in Geriatric Dentistry, where she provided much-needed dental care to nursing home residents in Mecklenburg, Union and Anson counties.
At Piedmont Family Dentistry our goal is to preserve, restore, and enhance our patient's smiles. Every new amenity for our patients, every new policy for our staff and providers is made with this simple goal in mind as we strive toward excellence in oral healthcare.

Made me pay for a procedure I didn't need and they also told me a had several cavities. After hearing from an oral surgeon (that they recommended) that the dentist lied to me and made me pay for fillings unnecessarily, I went to a different dentist. I told that dentist I was told I had 3 to 4 cavities. The new dentist told me that was also a lie. The people that work there appear nice but the main goal is to make money at the end of the day.

It just occurred to me that I (along with my children) have been going to Piedmont Family for about 8 years and I have not written a review. We used to live in Monroe but even after relocating to Charlotte, it is worth the ride. Unless we move out of state or if it takes longer than an hour to get to them we will not change. I love the energy here and as another person listed in the review they "treat my entire family like family". Over the years there have have been one or two occasions where someone at the front left a little to be desired. But those individuals are no longer there and they did not make an impact enough that I would trade in this dynamic team of people. Me and my children LOVE them! In many sectors, including healthcare, that personal touch has been lost. That is not the case here, it reminds me of home.

I HIGHLY recommend this dentist office to everyone!! I was devastated when my former dentist retired because he was so wonderful and I never thought that I could find a dentist as trustworthy, kind and affordable as him. This fear was made worse after a very terrible experience with a different local dentist office in my search for a new provider BUT then I was recommended Piedmont Family Dentistry by a family member. I am SO thankful for that recommendation because they are FABULOUS! They are so easy to get ahold of, return calls in a timely manner, are extremely kind and knowledgeable AND very affordable!! I am so very pleased with them and recommend them to everyone that I know.

I love this office! Both Doctors are warm and friendly, the staff has always been friendly, upbeat, and very accommodating to me and my 9 year old son. We have been coming here for 3 years now and have always had great care. Also being that we do not have dental insurance, the discount plan that we are able to use is awesome! I recommend them to family and friends all the time!
