Dental Assistant McKenzie enjoys her job as an assistant. She likes the opportunity of making patients feel comfortable during a procedure. She brings a friendly smile to all around her. McKenzie lives in the Taylorsville area, she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys playing with her two dogs Bristol and Baylor. In her spare time she enjoys reading a good book.
Summer was born and raised on the coast of South Georgia and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Georgia State Perimeter College. She enjoys educating patients about oral hygiene and how they can improve their home care. It is important to Summer that her patients feel comfortable and have a stress-free environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dog Corduroy, and cat Tibi.
Front Office Lauren Beatty, a Troutman native, earned her bachelors degree from East Carolina University then continued on to receive a certificate as a dental assistant. Lauren enjoys helping others achieve a happy smile and making sure patients feel comfortable receiving dental care. During her free time, she enjoys being physically active and spending time with her family and friends.
Kim grew up in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She has a daughter Brittany who she enjoys spending time with and two dogs, Willow and Lily. During her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach and running and volunteering her time as a cheer coach for Lake Norman High School. Kim loves interacting with patients and always putting a smile on their face.
Dilya moved from New Jersey to NC in 2013. Dilya is bilingual her primary language is Uzbek/Russian and her secondary language being English. She has two cats, Callie and Mini and a son. Dilya went to Warren County Community College in New Jersey to study to be a dental assistant. During her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, cooking, and kayaking with her husband and friends. Dilya is very passionate about helping others have a beautiful smile

From a very young age, Dr. Carnaggio knew he wanted to be a dentist. He began his pursuit of a career in dental medicine observing in the office of a family friend, who was a prosthodontist. His interest became his passion as he saw the difference a prosthodontist can make in a persons life by improving not only their oral health but also the patients quality of life. Dr. Carnaggio continues to be inspired by advancements in dental medicine that allow him to improve the oral health and overall wellness of his patients. Dr. Carnaggio is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Hickory community and interact daily with his patients.
Some of the most exciting advancements Dr. Carnaggio has seen have been in the areas of Prosthetics and Implant Dentistry. He routinely attends lectures and Continuing Education (CE) courses on these topics to stay atop of the latest developments and advancements. In addition to attending CE courses, Dr. Carnaggio has also served as a lecturer, presenter, and recently published an article in the prestigious Journal of Prosthodontics. He also was awarded first place for a presentation to the American Prosthodontic Society, which focused on CAD/CAM dentistry and serves on a Tumor board in Winston Salem, NC.
Dr. Carnaggio is originally from the Pittsburgh area and relocated to North Carolina after completing his residency program in 2007. He and his wife, Robbie, have three children: Lilly, Nyah, and Grayson. In his free time, Dr. Carnaggio enjoys family activities such as biking, rollerblading, hiking, and swimming.
Dr. Carnaggio enjoys giving back to the community and regularly volunteers and supports local dental clinics and participates inGive Kids A Smileday. He has served as a fundraiser for theNorth Carolina Missions of Mercyorganization and also supports local animal charities along with his family. His oldest daughter, Lilly, is an avid animal lover and enjoys collecting donations and fundraising for animal charities. The family is rounded out with three pets, Golden Doodles Lucky Lou and Chewbacca, and a cataptly named Bella.

I'm just gonna say this!! This is the only dentist I'll go to. I drive 2 1/2 hours round trip just to go here because every time I need a emergency extraction they take me right in no questions asked!!!! I would rate this dentist a 10

I can't say enough good things about this dental practice!! I came here after a having bad dental experience elsewhere. I was extremely nervous and the entire staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I was very pleased with the customer service and level of expertise.

The whole office is amazing! Called at 730 when they opened I had a bad tooth ache. They said how soon can you get here! 30 min later I was in the office. The front desk people were awesome! The dental assistant was fabulous! They made me feel very comfortable with my concerns. Laughed at my nervous jokes which put me at ease. Dr Jones addressed my concerns and within seconds I had a very back cracked tooth removed and no more pain!!!! They are the very best!!!! Thank you for being caring!!!

I have now entered my 3rd year of attending piedmont dental services after being sent there by the VA. To this day all I can say is.. Tom Carnaggio and Jim Piper have put together one hell of a winning team!!! If anyone in NC needs a dentist but have fears, please make the drive to one of their clinics!! Tom Carnaggio did a million star job on my teeth!! Summer, the hygienist, has been doing an exceptional job on the cleaning and follow up treatments..and even when I have those done Tom Carnaggio still comes into the room personally and makes sure I'm doing well. If anyone has any questions or concerns/fears about going... don't hesitate to call Lauren at the desk and she will gladly help. Here's to many many more years of continued visits

Went for my first visit last week and went on September 10 for intense cleaning since I haven't been to a dentist in years. I was very nervous but the staff and the Dr. made my experience very comfortable and easy. Wonderful place, very professional!!

They are even great with kids! Just took our two little ones in (7 and 4) and they loved their new dentist! Very sweet with kids... they are already excited for their next appointment in 6 months. Amazing Dentist and support staff!

I visited Piedmont Dental Associates during a time of emergency. Dr. Carnaggio was so calming and dealt with my bad tooth professionally and with kindness. I'm a nervous dental patient and was also relieved that the Troutman office offers nitrous oxide for folks like me. Despite having a large molar extracted I was never in any pain, and the dental assistant even shared a few nervous laughs with me. Dr Carnaggio, you've got a new patient.... THANK YOU!

Great dentist here I wouldn't ever go anywhere else it's definitely worth the hour drive for me , if your looking for a great dentist that actually cares about his patients this is the place right here , very friendly staff , I absolutely love this place

I recently moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I was referred to Piedmont Dental by someone in our neighborhood. I called them and they fit me in the same week. The entire experience from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to Dr. Carnaggio himself, were all amazing. It's apparent that Dr. C is passionate about his work and very conscientious of his patients needs. I have found our new family dentist. I would highly recommend Piedmont Dental Associates to anyone looking for a dentist in the Mooresville or Troutman area.

Dr. C and his entire staff is passionate, knowledgeable and caring. I have recommended Piedmont Dental to family and friends who have all been blown away by the care they received. I can't imagine anyone not being impressed by Dr. Carnaggio and his new office in Troutman! The office staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Carnaggio is the best! In the past I didn't like going to the dentist but not anymore. Dr. Carnaggio is kind, patient with all of my questions and explains everything he is about to do. He is a very caring person and I have recommended him to my neighbors.
