Cosmetic dentistry has become very popular in the last several years, not only due to the many advances in cosmetic dental procedures and materials available today, but also because patients are becoming more and more focused on improving their overall health. This includes dental prevention and having a healthier, whiter, more radiant smile.

There are many cosmetic dental procedures available to improve your teeth and enhance your smile. Depending on your particular needs, cosmetic dental treatments can change your smile dramatically, from restoring a single tooth to having a full mouth make-over. Ask your dentist how you can improve the health and beauty of your smile with cosmetic dentistry.

Teeth Whitening:Bleaching lightens teeth that have been stained or discolored by age, food, drink, and smoking. Teeth darkened as a result of injury or taking certain medications can also be bleached, but the effectiveness depends on the degree of staining present.

Composite (tooth-colored) Fillings:Also known as bonding, composite fillings are now widely used instead of amalgam (silver) fillings to repair teeth with cavities, and also to replace old defective fillings. Tooth-colored fillings are also used to repair chipped, broken, or discolored teeth. This type of filling is also very useful to fill in gaps and to protect sensitive, exposed root surfaces caused by gum recession.

Porcelain Veneers:Veneers are thin custom-made, tooth-colored shells that are bonded onto the fronts of teeth to create a beautiful individual smile. They can help restore or camouflage damaged, discolored, poorly shaped, or misaligned teeth. Unlike crowns, veneers require minimal tooth structure to be removed from the surface of the tooth.

Porcelain Crowns (caps):A crown is a tooth-colored, custom-made covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. Crowns protect and strengthen teeth that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. They are ideal for teeth that have large, fractured or broken fillings and also for those that are badly decayed.

Dental Implants:Dental implants are artificial roots that are surgically placed into the jaw to replace one or more missing teeth. Porcelain crowns, bridges, and dentures can be made specifically to fit and attach to implants, giving a patient a strong, stable, and durable solution to removable dental appliances.

Orthodontics:Less visible and more effective brackets and wires are making straightening teeth with orthodontics much more appealing to adult patients. Also, in some cases, teeth may be straightened with custom-made, clear, removable aligners that require no braces.

My family comes here and my first time I loved it which is why I was willing to come as I drove over a hour to come to my appointment. As I was on my way to my appointment there was a terrible accident in waxahachie and I was late when I arrived I was told I could not be seen and that I should have called . If I'm driving and it's is a terrible accident I'm not going to jeopardize my life to call you and I was 10 min past the check in time . The fact they will not work with you and they have an empty office is exactly why I will never come back to this dentist office . Terrible customer service! Me and my family will no longer come here .

I normally don't leave bad reviews, however if my review can help someone not have the same experience I will inform those that are willing to read further. I went in for my normal cleaning and had a lot of work that needed to be done so I went ahead and started scheduling everything back to back. I had two molars worked on my (right side) one at a time. I got a call that one permanent crown came in, so I went in and had that one placed to see if it fit properly and the dentist continued to work on the next tooth getting a mold and placing a temporary on said second tooth . I get sent home and my permanent crown falls out that same day after flossing. So of course I called the dentist the next day and the person who answered the phone told me I could go to Walgreens and get some cement and do it myself. I was shocked because I paid a lot of money out of pocket for all this work to be done. Needless to say I didn't do it myself because I was scared to. So I held on to the permanent tooth until the second permanent tooth came in so they could cement them both in at the same time. I finally made it to the appointment with my tooth in a zip-lock bag. The dentist didn't accept fault in the fact that she didn't cement my tooth in. She lied to me instead and said she did cement it there just wasn't enough cement placed. Then when she cemented the permanent tooth I had brought in with me we found out that the second permanent tooth that was supposed to go beside it didn't fit because my teeth had shifted. So she had to send in a new mold. Endless visits accompanied with new jaw pain, headaches and anxiety from feeling like I'm stuck with this forever. I attempted to see my dentist again to follow up, however she was never available when I called and was told I would be put on a cancel list and they'd call me if an opening became available. However I was never called, I just felt like I was being ignored.

My daughter (10) broke her permanent tooth and after our visit to an endo specialist for a emergency root canal we tried out Picasso for the finishing touches. They did a so amazing accommodating us with a last min visit as a new patient and finished her treatment so she could be comfortable with her smile again. She feels great and loves her smile again! Thank you to the whole staff for being so attentive and caring to a little girl during a scary time in her life.
