Community Healthcare Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has multiple medical providers who offer medical care in the fields of pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine and dentistry. Behavioral health services are offered in recognition of the connection between a healthy mind and body. The Center promotes oral health care through the services of full-time family dentists and their dental hygienists. Other Center services include radiology, a Class D Pharmacy, a laboratory, and an outreach educational arm providing health educational screenings and education. Community Healthcare Center staff are deemed Federal Public Health Service Employees for the purposes of the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

Value matters in health care. It matters in terms of the quality of care delivered to patients. It matters in terms of the dollars spent for health care. Community Healthcare Center has been a leader in showing the value of having an effective way to address more needs, improve health and control costs. We are committed to uphold the following values:

Community Healthcare Center gives access to and serves as the primary care medical home for people living in 14 counties in north central Texas. Patient needs are identified and met within a safe environment with state-of-the-art facilities. Patients receive high quality, non-discriminatory care that reflects our commitment to cultural diversity.

Drawing from years of experience on the front lines of health care, Community Healthcare Center is dedicated to providingexcellent standards of care that are safe, patient centered, timely, efficient and equitable. We are committed to achieving the highest standard of ethical principles in program planning, finance and all areas of our operations.

Adhering to fiscal responsibility of public and private funds, Community Healthcare Center ensures equitable and judicious expenditures that maximize the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care and programs. In helping patients to manage and prevent illness, Community Healthcare Center reduces emergency room visits, hospital stays and specialty care costs, including combined state and federal Medicaid savings.

Because trust is fostered between board, staff, and patients, we created a premier team of service providers whose main objective is improving the health status of people in our community. The medical, dental and pharmaceutical professionals as well as support staff are dedicated to providing access to comprehensive, continuous primary and preventive health care services centered on the patients needs.

Community Healthcare Center is a product of a 1992 organized community effort to develop a healthcare facility for the medically underserved: low income, uninsured and under-insured community residents. The Center began providing medical care in 1994 to Wichita County and counties in north Texas. Today, over 30,000 insured and uninsured patients annually call Community Healthcare Center their healthcare home.

From its modest beginning in a 3,800 square foot modular building with one primary care physician and eight employees, the Center has grown to 44,000+ square feet with clinicians spanning the fields of family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, womens health, behavioral health and family dentistry. Medical and dental care is supported by lab, x-ray, pharmacy, education, prescription assistance, Medicaid eligibility and more.

In 2009, Community Healthcare Center saw the edition of a second site, a temporary clinic opened in the Wichita Falls Housing Authority. The permanent site, Community Healthcare Center Juarez Medical Clinic, was erected in 2010 and serves Housing Authority and surrounding neighborhood residents. In 2014, a new 13,000+ square foot site Phyllis Hiraki Dental Clinic was opened next door to the main clinic. This state-of-the-art facility dramatically enhanced the Centers capacity to service the oral health needs of area residents.

In 2017, Community Healthcare Center worked with a community task force to open a federally qualified health center clinical site in McKinney, Texas Family Health Center on Virginia. The health center in McKinney houses primary and preventive services for medical, dental and behavioral health counseling. Then, in 2019, our services and clinics expanded in McKinney with the addition of the Womens Health Center of McKinney, which added obstetrics and gynecology specialties to the health center.

In March of 2018, Pediatric Associates merged with Community Healthcare Center. Since the beginning, Pediatric Associates mission was to serve those patients that have no insurance or depend on Medicaid, and that mission-focus made it evident that the merger was the best for both clinics since Community Healthcare Centers mission is to serve the underserved.

Scam artists. I was lied to about re-cementing a gold inlay. After driving an hour, I was told the dentist refused to perform the service because he didn't make the inlay. I was told to return to the dentist who made the inlay. If that dentist was alive, he'd be in his 90's and I would have to fly to Las Vegas. Instead, I got my money back and saw Dr. Sears in Bowie. It took him 5 minutes to cement the inlay. Hiroki Dental just wanted to x-ray and exam, and run up costs, not provide a simple dental service. So unethical and disgusting. A disgrace to their community. Shame on these people!

I had a lot of anxiety from the visit but the staff were pleasant and the visit went really well. I feel like I Know where to go on my dental care. They do good work!

My experiences at this public dental clinic are troubling: what appears (and feels) to be unacceptable quality work, and a greater than 300% jump in fees that accompanied their office expansion (based on the same family size and income). The front office workers have always been amateurish government-issue clerks. Their mission seems to be completely out of step with the parent clinic, The Community Healthcare Clinic, which I have very high regard for. I have easily found better dental care (at competitive pricing) at a private practice dentist.

I arrived in excruciating pain in my lower jaw on the right side.i left with just as much pain. I was told it would be ten days before the primary cause of my misery could be extracted.I was given antibiotics but, I would not be given anything for pain. Just be aware that if you are suffering from tooth pain you may want to make sure the dentist is able to treat your pain.
