Dr. Michael Payne attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following dental school, he completed an orthodontic residency at Marquette, earning his Masters Degree and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Payne continues to learn new research-supported orthodontic techniques by attending multiple continuing education courses and reading orthodontic journals. Dr. Payne is an adjunct clinical faculty memberin theDepartment of Orthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Heis a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Waukesha County Dental Society. While in undergrad at Marquette,Dr. Paynemet his wife, Allison, and they got married in August of 2012. In his free time, Dr. Payne enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to new music, playing golf and hockey, cooking, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.
Trisha joined our practice in February 1989 as a clinical technician. Trisha now works full time as our Practice Manager.When Trisha isnt working she loves to go camping, read and spend time with her family and friends.
Rita, wife of Dr. Pincsak, has been an integral part of the orthodontic office since its inception, over 30 years ago. Upon opening up their orthodontic practice in New Berlin in 1977, Rita was a true 'Girl Friday', taking on the roles of receptionist, assistant, and lab person. She took a break from her 'office duties' to raise their 2 adopted daughters, Hannah and Leah, but now is back in the business office on a part-time basis. She enjoys spending her free time making pottery, reading, and tending to the family dog.
Alicia has been member of our reception staff since 1995. When she's not answering the phones at either of our offices, Alicia enjoys spending time with her two sons, two rottweilers and her wonderful husband!
Joyce joined our staff in the spring of 2011. Joyce came into the practice with many years of administrative experience. She is married and has one son David.Joyce also runs her own cleaning business when shes not working at PHM OrthodontistsWhen she does have spare time Joyce enjoys biking and boating with friends.
Monica joined our practice in September of 2014. Monica joins the practice with 9 years of previous experience in the healthcare field. She is currently pursuing her Associates in Science for Healthcare Administration. When not at work, Monica spends all her free time with her family enjoying local festivities and events.
Katelynn joined our PHM family in Nov. 2019 after receiving her degree from UW-Stout in Retail Merchandising and Human Resources. Katelynn and her husband Kevin love being outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing and hiking. Katelynn grew up in Wisconsin but spent 4 years in Colorado where she was able to hike Quandary Peak!! Quandary Peakis located in the White River National Forest, and is the only fourteener in the Tenmile Range.
Leisa joined PHM Orthodontists in August of 2002, as the Brookfield office Treatment Coordinator. When not at work, Leisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and frequenting coffee shops with her dog Unser.
Justine joined our practice in June 2015 with previous pediatric dental experience. Justine relocated to the Milwaukee area from Onalaska to be closer to her fianceewho works for the Milwaukee Bucks. In Justine's free time she enjoys cheering on the Brewers, going on camping and boating excursions with her family and friends and working out to stay fit and healthy!!
Bailey joined the PHM team in August 2021 with a background in insurance. As a Financial Coordinator Bailey enjoys discussing benefits and helping patients navigate their insurance claims! When she is away from the office you can find Bailey tending to her farm with her two Bernese mountain dogs, fishing with her boyfriend and enjoying natures beauty!
Karen has been with our practice since 1995 as our Records Lab Technician, with special skills in the area of digital imaging and Photoshop. An avid outdoors person, Karen enjoys cooking, movies, riding motorcycles, cheering on her beloved Bears and Colts teams and tending to her kitties.
Maggie joined the practice in early 2008. Maggie graduated from UW-Parkside. She is also a Mary Kay representative. Maggie fills the rest of her time in yoga classes and teaching yoga to her co-workers!
Aesha attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater majoring in biology. As a former patient of PHM Orthodontists she was eager to join our team. Aesha loves being able to provide that positive impact on her patients that she experienced as a patient herself!! In her free time she loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends or play with her dog Buford!
Amanda joined our team in the summer of 2020 after 18 years as an orthodontic technician! We are so happy to incorporate Amandas skill level and her love of orthodontics into our already awesome team of technicians. Being from Green Bay Amanda is a die-hard Packer fan and tries to make every home game!! She also enjoys camping with her fianc and her dog Whiskey.
Brooklyn graduated from Dental Assisting school in 2019 and is originally from Waupaca but started her career in Madison as an Orthodontic Technician. Brooklyn moved to Muskego with her French Bulldog, Breckinridge and joined our team in April 2021. When shes not working Brooklyn enjoys spending time at her cabin up north water skiing, wakeboarding and snow skiing! Brooklyn also loves to spend time with her boyfriend and cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jamie joined our PHM family in the fall of 2019 as a clinical technician. Jamie loves the fast-paced friendly atmosphere at PHM and joking around with all her teammates. She and her husband met playing soccer so naturally they spend a lot of their extra time either watching or playing soccer! Jamie loves hanging out with her family and going out for dinner in her spare time.
Jennifer joined our practice in June 1999 after going to school for dental assisting. Jennifer enjoys volleyball, boating and camping. Jennifer and her husband Chris have a son Kolton, a daughter Miranda and a stepdaughter Kailyn.
Melissa graduated from WCTC May 2010 with her dental assisting degree. Melissa enjoys being outdoors and active. She spends her free time playing softball along with hunting and fishing no matter the temperature. And when not doing that you could find her relaxing up north at the cabin with her dog Dixie and boyfriend Corey or listening to some live music no matter where it maybe.
Michaela graduated from the dental assisting program at Gateway Technical college in early 2019 and joined our team at PHM Orthodontists immediately after graduation. Michaela loves working in the fast-paced orthodontic field and establishing relationships with her patients! Michaela spends her free time with her friends and family enjoying the outdoors.
Nancy joined our practice in 1996, arriving with many years experience in the dental field. In our office you will often find her assisting with the cleft palate babies, which she enjoys tremendously. Nancy is semi-retired and works two days a week at PHM. Happily married, Nancy is the mother 3 and the grandmother of 6, of which that number continues to grow.

Update: Dr. Payne reached out following this post to apologize and review my son's treatment, both past and how he would like to see it proceed. He also acknowledged my experience with the treatment coordinator and promised it would be addressed. After speaking with him at length, I feel confident the treatment plan he has laid out going forward and his commitment to keeping me updated along the way is what's best for my son. We will continue this phase of treatment with their office and I'm hopeful when its completed I can update this post to a 5 star review. Dr. Payne is very nice however, I feel blindsided by the sudden change in plans. Out of nowhere, as we were pulling an impacted tooth into position I was told a 2nd round of braces would be needed asap and no further treatment could be done until that happened due to a lack of space. We were seeing them monthly for 8 months at this time and at no point did they mention this would be needed or even be a possibility to finish the tooth moving process. For months all we were told was that everything was going good and the tooth was moving in the right direction. We were still under the impression that we were going to continue to pull the tooth up and then back. Instead we were told we needed another round of braces for $3700 asap. The treatment coordinator I worked with, Leisa, lacked basic customer service skills and compassion. She was incredibly rude from the beginning as she let me sit in the waiting room for over 15min. When she finally came to get me she called my child's name so when we got to her office I stated that my name is actually Jenny to which she curtly replied she has to call the patients name and offered no greeting or introduction beyond that or apology for being late. Her cold demeanor was overwhelmingly present the rest of the visit and the impression given was that she could care less about how blindsided I felt, my questions were an annoyance to her and she wanted nothing from me besides a signature and payment. I left that appointment feeling like nothing but a check to them.

I felt bullied and ridiculed and also judged from Dr. Hansen. She brought my self esteem down when I was a child as her patient. Hated going there. The staff themselves were friendly though and Dr. Payne also was friendly. If you're going to make an appointment I'd recommend you see Dr. Payne

These nice and hardy working woman are a bright light in your day when your ortho appointment comes your way. I used to have bad teeth but than ten years later here we are with the perfect smile. Couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist.
