My husband and I were born and raised in Central Iowa and moved to Minnesota in 2012 when my career led me to an Office Manager position at a health and wellness clinic. As someone who has always enjoyed going to the dentist and loves to see people smiling with their teeth, I have always been interested in being part of a dental team to help provide that same positive experience for patients that I have experienced throughout my life.

After moving to Minnesota, we fell in love with the small town feel and lake atmosphere in Mound and are happy to be raising our 4 kiddos there! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating, crafting, traveling, playing volleyball, working out, and pretty much anything outdoors!

Looking back, I can see that I have always had an interest in dentistry. Growing up, I was the at-home dentist by helping my siblings wiggle out their baby teeth. After becoming a licensed dental assistant, I decided to pursue my love for dentistry further by becoming a dentist. I attended the University of St. Thomas and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science degree. Currently I am applying for dental school, while gaining experience in the field.

I grew up on a hobby farm in Plato, MN with my six siblings and was home-schooled for most of my life. We had an abundance of adventures on our farm, and hosted a variety of animals; raising Miniature Schnauzers, participating in 4-H club, taking our animals and homemade projects to the county and sometimes even the state fair. During the summer before my senior year my family moved to Waconia, and we have been here ever since.

There are many things I love about living in Minnesota: the beautiful green landscape in the summer, the many lakes for fishing and swimming, and especially the autumn. I love the crisp cool air, the magnificent colors, pumpkin lattes, apple orchards, cozy knit sweaters and the falling leaves.

When I have free time I like to go on adventurous walks and spend time outdoors. I also love to read, draw and spend time with my family. I enjoy story writing, playing the piano and Im always down for a good cup of coffee!

I grew up in Plato, MN on a small farm with my family. I love being outdoors and spending time exploring nature. When my family moved to Waconia, I fell in love with the beautiful trails and lakes! I love working with people and helping in anyway I can.In my free time I enjoy taking my dog for walks and/or reading a good book while drinking tea. I also love spending time with my family, whether its playing board games or taking my nieces and nephews to the theater.

I have been in the dental field since 2009, both assisting and dental hygiene. I love working in the dentistry, where we get to directly impact patients health and wellness. In my personal time, I love to spend time with my husband and two-year-old son outside! We garden and can vegetables, go to the lake and take our dog out. We also go to the cabin whenever we get the chance!

I graduated from Argosy University with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. I love the variety that dental hygiene entails. There is always something to learn and new ways to grow and improve. Ive always wanted a career where I helped people. Not only do we get to educate clients on their oral health but their overall health as well. We get to help people every day!

I joined Philp Family Dentistry in June of 2020. I take a lot of pride in building relationships with our patients, and I love to see people of all different ages! I grew up in Victoria and now reside in Waconia with my husband and two boys. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, from playing outside with my boys to spending time at our family cabin.

I joined the Philp Family Dentistry team in August of 2019. I received my degree in dental assisting in 2014 from Hennepin Tech. After floating back and forth between assisting and the front desk, I found myself enjoying the insurance side of dentistry. I feel very blessed to be part of a team that is so passionate about what they do.

I graduated from Hennepin Tech with a dental assisting degree in 2013. I worked in orthodontics for a few years but switched to general dentistry for a bigger variety. One thing I love most about dentistry is the constant learning that comes along with the job. I also really enjoy getting to know the patients and working in the community I grew up in.

I have two wonderful children and live on a hobby farm outside of Cologne. We have a few outside animals and two indoor dogs. Outside of work I enjoy a good glass of wine, reading, going for walks, being outside and hanging with my family.

I graduated from Dakota County Technical College with a degree in dental assisting. It's hard to believe I have been a dental assistant for nearly 12 years! I love the variety my job offers, and I most enjoy helping people have a positive experience at the dentist, especially children. Working in dentistry has taught me leadership and organization, as well as patience and sympathy.

As a MN native, I grew up in Burnsville but spent summers on my grandparents farm in rural Prior Lake. It seemed only natural that when my husband Joe and I married, we start a farm life. At our hobby farm in Cokato, Joe and I raise goats, chickens and pigs, and we have two dogs, Chewy and Keysha.

We love to use our farm to provide for us. We harvest and preserve from our large garden, make maple syrup, and use milk from our goats and eggs from the chickens. Good thing I love to cook and bake! I love the MN summers that allow me to garden, paddleboard, rollerblade, and walk my dogs. I love trying new restaurants, a good book, friends and family. Of course it's not complete without a craft beer or local wine!
