Dr. Phillis graduated summa cum laude from Emory University, where she earned a Bachelorof Science in biology. Shegraduated magna cum laude from Tufts UniversitySchool of Dental Medicine, where she received both her Doctorate of Dental Medicineand her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
While at Tufts, she was awarded the Norman H. Diamond award for excellence in orthodontics, the O.K.U Hilde Tillman Research Award, and the Erling Johansen Research Prize. In 2022, Dr. Phillis received the Anthony A. Gianelly Award from the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists for demonstrating dedication to academia and the clinical practice of orthodontics.
Dr. Stephanie Phillis is from New Hampshire.When she is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her husband Austin, who is a Montessori teacher/school director.She also loves hiking in the White Mountains, biking, snowboarding, and coaching Chelmsford Youth Soccer.
Dr. Hugh Philliscompleted his dental and orthodontic training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduatedsumma cum laudeas well asvaledictorian of his dental class in 1980. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Phillis regularly teaches at Tufts Dental School in the orthodontic department as an assistant clinical professor, and has been doing so since 1982.
Dr. Hugh Phillis is from Ohio, and has lived and practiced orthodontics in Nashua, NH for over 40 years.His wife Mary works in adult education.Together they have sixchildren, and twoGolden Retrievers.They are both active members of their community, and enjoy skiing, golf, tennis, cooking, and lots of house projects.

Amazing people, amazing work. The entire office - from front desk to billing to Dr. Stephanie herself - they are one of the best office experiences I have had for my son's care. They have gone ABOVE and beyond and her work is wonderful. I cannot brag on them enough!

Dentist- Yikes, scary, makes my stomach hurt, tears and fears.... Well that is not the case when my daughter has an appointment at Dr. Phillis' office. Always big smiles (no pun intended!) and warm hugs greet us at the door. Dr. Phillis will make anyone feel relaxed and at ease. The process has been simple, straight forward and best of all the staff is fantastic. The office and hours are convenient and everyone likes going. That is a win for me.

Dr Phillis was the 3rd consult we had for my two kids who have very different teeth issues. We all felt that her approach made the most sense and overall we felt the most comfortable with her, even my kids felt that way! Just so happens her Dad did my teeth and my husbands many years ago! So far we feel we are in good hands, place is clean, staff are friendly and we feel we are not rushed. Would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Phillis and her staff are amazing. My son always get anxious around Doctors, but not here- he loves going! Everyone takes their time with him and explains what they are doing or about to do. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

The Phillis team is amazing. Our daughter is a patient of this office and both Dr. Hugh Phillis and Dr. Stephanie Phillis oversee her care. The care she receives is wonderful, even during Covid. At one point the office reopened to just patients and our daughter was always greeted by a friendly team member. At the end of her appointment, she was accompanied back to to me by either Dr. Hugh Phillis or Dr. Stephanie Phillis; who then provided an update on her progress. Greatly appreciate what they are doing to better our daughter's smile. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to find an orthodontist for their child.

Just came from having my younger son's braces put on! My older son is a previous patient as well . Dr Phillis, Elizabeth and the whole team are amazing to work with! Their service, care, and level of professionalism are second to none . Highly recommend!
