Punctual. Courteous staff. Hygienist & doctor were attentive to my comfort and talked me through the entire procedure in removing old crown and cavity. And measuring for and fitting a temporary.

To start my teeth are most important to me. I am a retired dental hygienist and always have taken good care of my teeth. I had the misfortune of genetics and xerostomia and lost my battle. The only reasonable answer to my problem was full mouth implants. I researched online for "the best of the best prosthodontist " made the decision of Phillips and Schmitt DDS. I had my upper arch done yesterday. I was scared of being edentulous -my truly biggest fear. When I awoke from anesthesia, Dr Schmitt was making adjustments to my temporary prosthetic. Which I may add fit wonderfully and looked great. I couldn't be more pleased. Next Wednesday he will be doing the lower arch ..I have faith it will go just as well as the top. The entire office from the front desk ( Judy just called to check on me) I must add that I don't have any discomfort!! And the chairside assistant.anesthesia and of course Dr Schmitt were very attentive, sympathetic and worked tirelessly to give me the best result that I ever had hoped for...my temporary prosthetic looked and felt natural and beautiful! I just want to thank everyone. You are rock stars of dentistry!! Michele Jawitz Bakersville,NC

Dr.Phillips installed a ceramic crown and the experience was outstanding. His concern for your comfort and satisfaction with his work was above what I have experienced before. I would highly recommend his services.

I am a dental professional and when I broke a front tooth on vacation, I went straight to Dr. Phillips. Both dentists are exceptional and there is no one else I would have turned to for help in my time of need. The staff are wonderful people! You're in good hands here.

Dental work is decent and the dentist is likeable, but billing practices are suspect. They like to 'upsell' dental services you don't need. As a patient, you don't know any better. Their billing policies are worse. I arrived 30 minutes early for an appointment, waited, and then left after my appointment time, when I wasn't called back. I checked with the receptionist before I left, and she said it was fine. A week later I received a letter and bill in the mail. I was billed for the appointment, even though it was the dentist who was late. When I inquired why I would be billed for their tardiness, they said the patient is obligated to wait 15 minutes beyond their scheduled time at which time the appointment would be canceled and the patient would be sent home without treatment. My family will not use this dentist again and I do not recommend them.

This is an exceptionally competent dental practice. The office is very organized, the staff are friendly and Dr Phillips and Dr Schmitt are very knowledgeable and patient centered. I have had extensive dental work done by them and this is the best dental practice I have ever experienced in over 50 years as a patient in many other dental practices around the country.

Absolutely the best. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Phillips for 14 years and at 75 (him) and 68 (me) we have great teeth with only a very occasional little cavity or crack in the tooth. Highly recommend. Everyone is very friendly and professional. The entire staff is great. Four thumbs up!

Phillips & Schmitt is the most professional dental office I've ever visited. The doctors are top-notch, but what keeps me going back are the hygienists. No matter who cleans your teeth, they'll do an excellent job and be friendly and personable. There's always great communication between the hygienist, the doctor and the patient.

I'm a retired dentist and was looking for a dental office that had constant learning and technology as part of their vision. This office is exceptional in their pursuit of knowledge and using that knowledge with modern technology to provide great dental treatment. More importantly, they provide that treatment with a gentle touch and warm, caring concern for the patient.
