He completed his general residency and advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. During his time at Columbia Presbyterian, he was a clinical instructor for dental students and assisted in the dental clinic, under the leadership of Dr. Steven Lepousky. Later, he supervised dental residents at Monmouth Medical Center from 1998 to 1999.
He completed his implant residency at the Center for Implant and Aesthetics in Englewood, NJ, with Dr. John C. Minichetti. In 2016, he graduated from Fordham University, Bronx, NY, with an MA in Counseling & Psychology.
He worked for three years as an associate with Dr. Lubetsky in New York, NY, before opening his first private practice in Midtown, Manhattan. He later settled permanently in Freehold, NJ, and opened the doors of his practice in 1995, where he has been serving the community for over 20 years.
Dr. Phillip is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), as well as, a certified provider for Invisalign, the most advanced clear orthodontic system.
His philosophy is to provide dental care that is painless, affordable and conscientiously higher in quality. He believes that the difference between failure and success is the difference between rendering health care that is almost right, versus care that is perfectly right for the patient. With this philosophy, he strives for perfection in his dentistry.
Dr. Phillip is fluent in three languages: English, French & Arabic, and is currently enhancing his Spanish linguistic skills. He has served a youth minister in the Coptic Orthodox Church of America since 1985.

Easy to get appointments, everyone on staff is very friendly. Dr. Phillips is personalble and a good dentist. Will always try to save you money where possible.

What can I say, Dr. Phillip exemplifies what a dentist and health care professional should be. I had a dental emergency late at night, right before my bridal shower, he responded immediately, was comforting and fit me in the very next day at a time that worked for me. He is so personable and has fantastic bedside manner. He does fantastic work & I would recommend him 10/10 for anyone looking for dentist or cosmetic dental work. The best part was that he didn't just fix my tooth but he made corrections to prevent the issue from happening in the future. He does fantastic cosmetic work in the past for me as well! Dr. Magdy and his staff are all wonderful, caring people who go above and beyond for their patients., Sharon and Mina create an atmosphere that makes the patient feel comfortable and well cared for. I'm glad I found this office for my dental care, Dr Magdy did root canal last week he was very informative throughout the process and he did an amazing job

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Phillip and his staff. Tried for days to get in to see a dentist for an emergency and had no luck. I was fortunate to find Dr. Phillips Dental office on Google. Called the office and they scheduled me for that day. Was having a bad day until I went to see him. So happy I wen to see him. Left smiling which I have not been able to do in days. Will be returning for all my dental care.

Dr. Phillip is the best!!!! He's also a genius in dentistry. Before going to Phillip Dental I went to 3 other dentist and I became stressed out. Dr. Phillip came up with the perfect plan and gave me a full top row bridge while fixing my bite which came out perfect! I love my smile and people compliment me all the time. I recommend him to all my family and friends. Also the staff is very respectful and polite. Dr. Phillip is heaven sent!!!!

Clean facility, friendly staff, most updated equipment. The Dentist was very understanding and provided me with thorough explanation of the scan and plans available for me. Outstanding!!! What can I say!!! Dr. Phillip is the best!! I highly recommend him to all my friends and family!!! He's extremely knowledgeable and it's clear he has years of experience. He always answers any questions I have, and boy do I ask a lot. Not only is his service the best, his personality makes each visit easy and painless. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now, I can tell he is very COVID cautious for the benefit of his patients. I even saw them sanitize the room I was in as I was leaving before they called the next person in. He is always patient, friendly, and always addresses any concerns I have!

As a person who has known Dr. Phillip for many years I can say unequivocally that he is a man of honor. This is demonstrated by the multiple reviews that have been placed before this incident had taken place. As a dentist he will try and do his best by every patient, and as a member of his community Dr.Phillip gives all he can. To besmirch the name of a man over a personal quarrel is unacceptable, regardless of your point of view. Patients of Dr.Phillip can attest to his skill and kindness and I hope that future patients get the privilege of working with him.

Dr. Phillip has been my dentist for years and is the first person I recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in central jersey. He truly takes his time with you, it makes you feel like you're not just a number. He was also extremely accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable with everything before and after the procedure. Removing my wisdom teeth was a breeze with him.

Dr. Phillip has been my dentist for years and honestly it was a decision I'll never reconsider. He is very gentle, calm, and honest about his work. When he heard my traumatic experiences with other dentists- he consoled me, told me everything he was going to do, and did them without any last minute surprises. He's fair priced and does honest good work. Going to him is like going to family's- always asks about them and their health without any underlying motives. I love it there and will never reconsider on someone who does all that and more. Highly recommend to those who get nervous or want something amazing and steady every visit
