Dr. Gold is passionate about the high quality of dental care his office provides each and every patient. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his doctorate from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine. Having continued his advanced training as the Chief Resident in Dentistry at North Shore University Hospital, Dr. Gold remained a part of the hospitals teaching staff for over 20 years. He has been awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, one of the highest designations that a dentist can receive from this academy. He has also been awarded Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy for leadership and excellence in the dental profession. Dr. Gold was voted one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumer Research Council of America, and voted one of Long Islands Best Dentists by Long Island Pulse magazine. He began practicing dentistry on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, before opening his Plainview office. Away from the practice, Dr. Gold enjoys spending time with his wife Susan, their twin girls and their dog Charley.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Buffalo in 1985 and then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU College of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Boyd is a member of the ADA, NYS Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Association. She is committed to Continuing Education so as to stay up to date on the latest technology and practice philosophies to provide consistent high quality care to her patients.

Dr. Gold is the best dentist I have ever had. I cannot recommend him enough He is honest, knowledgable, gentle and caring . I had so many negative experiences with dentists in the past that left me fearful. Dr. Gold's gentle, patient and understanding approach made me so comfortable that I am no longer fearful. He is so meticulous and professional. His staff are also excellent and caring. Just with I had found them sooner!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gold's for almost 20 years and for all that time have consistently received excellent dental care! Many times through the years Dr. Gold has made himself available during emergencies to always fit me in. You couldn't find a friendlier and more courteous, professional staff from the front desk to his dental assistants and his hygienists! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental care!

I've been going to Dr. Gold's for about 10 years now and it's been fantastic. Every time I arrive to the office, it's clean, quiet, and well run. Debbie, the office manager, is great. I never wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. The dental hygienists, Diane, Inga, and Angie are all amazing. Routine cleanings are done within an hour and the entire experience is extremely pleasant. Dr. Gold is a kind, caring, and gentle dentist. He's very thorough and will tell you exactly what he's doing. First dentist to inject Novocain with virtually no pain. This is the type of dentistry everyone should get. Dr. Gold's office is a high end boutique dental office that really cares about their patients.

I've been going to Dr. Gold for over a year now. While I have never liked going to the dentist, Dr Gold makes it painless! He is thorough and efficient. I never wait more than a few minutes. I find his staff to be so pleasant and the dental assistants are thorough and gentle as well. My whole family uses Dr Gold. I highly recommend Dr. Gold and his office.

Dr Golg did a full set of upper veneers for me five years ago. I have never been happier. They look so natural. I love looking at the pictures from my daughters wedding and never hesitate smiling big for the camera. My teeth were somewhat crooked and uneven in color. Now they look like a toothpaste add. Angie the Hygenist at Dr. Philip Gold's dental office is helping me FILL MY POCKETS! If it wasn't for her caring about me and her great advise my pockets might be empty by now. I would recommend anyone to use this dental office as everyone their is very professional including the receptionist who knows everyone's name when they walk in the door.

By far, as a person fearful of dentists, this is the absolute best and most outstanding doctor and office I have ever visited. Everything about this office is stellar-from the waiting room, to the front desk staff, to the hygienists, to Dr. Gold's assistants, to Dr. Gold himself. They are very current and genuinely extremely caring. They all seem to truly love their jobs and interacting with patients. Dr. Gold himself is simply the best! Without exaggeration, when he touches my mouth, half of the time I don't even feel it. He has hands like feathers. He is also extremely up to date and has never suggested a procedure unless it was clearly necessary. He is consistently caring, compassionate, and always takes the extra time to address concerns. I cannot recommend this doctor and office enough.

Dr. Gold and his professional staff are great. His work and advice are impeccable and I especially like working with Diane, one of his unbelievably good dental hygienists, who takes the best ongoing care of my teeth and especially my gums. Debbie, his office manager, is especially good at working around my busy schedule to get me into the office for necessary treatments/procedures. Dr.Gold and his staff know how to take care of their patience. The automatic reminders sent by the office a day before your appointment are very helpful. The staff is always professional and Dr.Gold is the best dentist that I have every used. I had cavities filled, cleanings and veneers and whether you get the most invastive surgery or just your yearly visit the same effort and time is spent with you. I would recommend this office and doctor to anyone looking for a dentist in the Nassau area.

Dr. Gold is an excellent Dentist. My entire family have been patients of Dr. Gold for more than 20 years and know from experience that he is a perfectionist. This trait is very much appreciated, especially if you have had a poor experience with previous dentists, as I have had.
