Dr. Phil Hodge truly loves helping his patients obtain a healthy and beautiful smile. He takes great pride in helping to enhance the quality of their lives by improving and maintaining the function and aesthetics of such an important feature! He knows that having a smile that you are proud of can increase your level of confidence and overall sense of well-being.
Dr. Hodge has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry for more than 30 years in his hometown of Seattle and is the current president of the local chapter for the Seattle Study Club. He graduated from the University of Washington and also completed a two-year postgraduate adhesive and esthetic dentistry certificate at the University of Washington. Every year Dr. Hodge continues to further his knowledge and expand his skills by attending continuing education courses and seminars to bring his patients the latest techniques and technology available.
An advocate of giving back to his community, Dr. Hodge volunteers at New Horizons, a shelter for homeless teenagers. He is an active advisory board member for the dental assisting program at Renton Technical College and volunteers time in the classroom. He also participates in dental mission trips to Nicaragua.
Donna began her career in dentistry over 30 years ago as a dental assistant. After 15 years of assisting, today she enjoys working in all aspects of the administrative area making beautiful smiles affordable.
Chenelle is the cheerful voice you hear when you call our office, and one of the first welcoming faces you see when you walk in our door. She uses her chair-side dental assisting experience to help people effectively schedule their visits to our office. She graduated from dental assisting school in Spokane, WA.
Aly is our dental assistant. She helps patients physically and emotionally as they receive dental treatment. Aly has a deep passion for dentistry, having received her certification in dental assisting at Bates Technical College. Patients love the way she connects with them, constantly in tune to their needs. Aly is committed to making every dental visit a surprisingly great experience.
Aly is also the mom of two girls; Willow and Lavendar. She is an avid gardener, growing everything from flowers to food. Her green thumb aids her family and community, donating extra harvests to local food banks.
Nikki has worked in the dental field for over 25 years and loves being a hygienist. She takes pride in the care and education she gives to her patients and truly enjoys seeing their oral health improve over the years. Nikki loves to see her patients dental fears subside because shes earned their trust.

Dentistry of Renton, which was formally where DR Hodge was has been absolutely wonderful to work with. It's been a nice transition and the staff there is great. Ella makes you laugh and makes you feel welcome. I totally recommend them for your dentistry needs. Mike

The staff at Dentistry @ Renton are always friendly and professional. Debi, Karen, Ella and Dr. Kaur-Karla are fantastic and make you feel comfortable during your visit! They're very good about asking their patients to let them know if they feel any pain in an effort to make the visit pain free. I've been a patient for over 15 years and can't imagine going anywhere else.

Find another dentist if you need anything more than a simple cleaning or check up. This group is strategically set up to squeeze the most money out of your insurance company, and you per visit. That is probably why they are only open 4days a week. The skill set from Hodge is lacking if you need anything advanced. He did work that had to be redone by him and then again redone by a different dentist who mentioned his work was subpar. I didn't realize any of this until I left and went to a different dentist. He is nice and delightful to his customers but some what of a monster to his staff from what I've seen. He pushes 5 star reviews on his customers and staff on google, which is the only reason I'm posting this review, so people know.

Unfortunately, after the dentistry changes ownership, the dentist is no longer in my network that the cleaning is not covered. It used to be fully covered by Premera and now it only covers around half. I will have to find another dentist.
